30 years ago most of my class went to other subjects. I eventually took a poor paying job in a different country working min wage as a Metallurgist. However i ended up being paid probably the highest amount for a metallurgist worldwide.

I'm self-studying using videos on TH-cam. There is no specific curriculum that I am following, and thus far it's been relatively slow and yet fruitful at the same time. Luckily, I have some experience with self-studying via online courses, so I'll keep pushing until I've built the background and have learnt the programming related skills. About Data Sphere Africa, I've just checked it out on Linkedin, and it seems like there isn't much engagement there. The only thing that one can find online are the posters for an event that supposedly happened in March. Hope you guys can get it up and running soon.
