This is WAY too much work for breakfast! I would rather sleep a couple hours later and wake up to a good bowl of cereal instead. This meal would have to be like a dinner time or something for me.

My Japanese American girlfriend's Dad introduced me to Mackerel while we were on a trip to Hawaii. We went to a Japanese restaurant on Mauii and ordered Bento Boxes. He got the one with Makerel as the main. When our meals were served I asked him what Mackerel was like and he offered me to try some. It was grilled on a habachi, and it was oily but in a good way. I found the flavor to be strong but pleasant. I will always remember that trip with them. I have such fond memories of Hawaii, the tome together and the food we shared.

That's B.S. No one has that kind of excellent breakfast in Japan. Who would have that time and money to fix that fancy whole mackerel, homemade pickles and proper miso soup in the hustle and bustle morning? Some people would have the microwave ovened, farm raised tiny mackerel at Yoshinoya.
The Belly the best part of the Milf Fish tho?
When my wife and I pedal our 🚲 🚲 around the Shikoku Circuit ride, I want to enjoy this breakfast whenever it's available. If you gave me the PERFECT kitchen shown in the video and all the ingredients, I think that I could make this breakfast after about 40 hours of trial and error. I love mackerel, and this looks AWESOME!
