"What if she lost her life, willfully" I will give my interpretation of this song, by what I hear from the lyrics and what I see on the album cover: A man and a woman were deeply in love, but things weren't going so well. The collapsed civilization has made it very hard to be happy. One day, she dies. The man is deeply mournful of this loss so he seeks to bring her back to life. He collects her blood in a big hourglass. He has a special power that allows him to control the forces of life. As he carries her blood around, he kills many people in order to collect their life force. Containing that energy in his hourglass, in hopes to bring her back. He loses everything in this pursuit. One day, after going through this dark path, he finally reaches a point where he can bring her back in a temporary ghostly form, but he discovers that she really didn't want to be brought back. It was all for nothing in the end. Their tears will be forgotten.

A voice like no other. Complete serenity.

When I first heard about the album, I was excited. Now, after 20 listens, I'm still speechless, thanks for that. Please release this album on vinyl, such a masterpiece deserves it.

I came across this album by chance, it was mentioned in a Prog top 40 of 2023 at #11. I started listening and when the first song featured spoken words, I thought I recognised the singer of my favourite doommetal band, and indeed it was Aaron. So only then I read the description, to find that Heike is also on this album. She was still in Draconian when I discovered her angelic voice. Apparently all the male fan were "in love" with her, and according to those fans it was allowed to express this. 🤣Well, she is of course very attractive, but in love I was not. Never had the chance to see her live. Maybe in the future I will have the chance. Also hoping to see MDB live again, it has been several years already.

This is just beautiful. Aaron and Heike in a same song and the song itself it's just perfect. More of this.

Having Aaron and Heike sing together is unbelievable! Whoever had the idea deserves nothing but praise. Absolutely great doom-death with the most amazing vocals you can get for this genre. Will the whole album be with double vocals? I have fallen in love with this style of music ever since I first listened to the first albums of Theater Of Tragedy in the 2000s.

Oh gods... that fatal doom guitar riff, clean ethereal angelic voice, growl, and vocal like in goth rock music mixed up made an unique vibe. Is this Gothic Black Doom Metal style?
