Raise movie will suck. Tron ended with Legacy. Any movie Leto is in Flops

just a heads up, i saw a screener for this about a month and a half ago. at that time none of the NIN music had been in it and it was instead placeholdered by the tron legacy soundtrack. the reshoots in mexico and the scene you posted about the motorcycle isnt much of anything. just a epilogue showing where ares is after the film has ended. essentially zero trace of Legacy is in this film aside from stylistic choices. Also, the reason that flynn Sr. shows up in a more purple light is because they go back to the ORIGINAL grid in Ares. Flynn is aged but its still his earlier hippy self from the first film and no real knowledge of the events of legacy

i genuinely can’t believe we’re getting so much new tron stuff. it’s my favorite franchise and for years i felt like we weren’t going to get anything anymore, yet here we are!

I belive Flynn is still very much alive

I think after uprising, Tron was kidnapped, Beck and his friends either died or escaped and the other programs lost the war against the regime.

Ares was the god of war in classical mythology, so the name is a hint for me at his character arc

It would be stupid for Sam to not be in Tron Ares. Like, if Sam is in Vancouver during the events of Tron Ares, that means he can see all those recognizers and bikes obliterating everything. Sam can see all of those. So if he’s not in the movie, it would make no sense. Unless he’s on Vacation.

We really need the sequel for Legacy There are characters who need to be develop! I want to know more about Quorra and Castor ! 🤍

I've been waiting for a sequel to Tron: Legacy since I walked out of the IMAX theater with my 3D glasses on in 2010. I looked like Sam Flynn back then, now I look like Kevin Flynn.

Great video, still watch tron uprising to this day. Such a good show shame it wasn’t developed further. Looking forward to tron ares I just hope it is a success however with the track record of Disney regarding big budget films recently I don’t want to get my hopes up

Oh good. So they already put a girl in it and made it lame. Doesn't really matter though. Tron was already made lame by that terrible Legacy movie.

Here's an odd concept... what if Ares is an interquel, taking place between TRON and Legacy?

You can tell the people who worked on T:U actually loved what they were working on & made a quality show & it was cancelled. Now Disney just churns out trash.

I’m pretty happy about this but I do have a few reservations about Letto. He’s an actual cult leader, his representation of the joker was the worst acting I’ve ever seen, and he’s just got a an odd vibe around him

Hopefully TRON Ares resparks an interest in the franchise and opens up the possibility for a second season

I'm really upset jared leto is in this. His ability to be the worst performance and be incredibly over actied in a movie is pretty consistent.

As a fan of the original TRON, I didn't like the look of Legacy that much. It was too slick. The circuit lines on the digital characters were too minimal, it looked too much like just decorations on clothing, as opposed to the denizens of the Grid in the original movie looked more like luminous beings given human form. The original with its glitches and imperfections felt much more unearthly, more like a constructed world. But Ares? A digital warrior entering the physical world? Reminds me of the old TV series "Automan".
