I’d never heard of it either. After researching further I’m thinking she had a uterine fibroid embolization which is less like a “device” and more like a shot into the fibroids. Either way really cool stuff.

Thank you so much for the feedback🩷The reason I multiplied 100mcg by 5 is because we were trying to find how many mLs were in 500mcg. Since we’re not following a formula so we can introduce any number using the ratio method to get to where we need to go.

Hey! I didn’t have to take the chemistry portion. Do you have to take all 9 sections?

@@AshantiPhylice Hi! I had my meeting two days ago, and they said the sections would be reading, vocabulary, math, and critical thinking. Do you have any recommendations for the vocabulary section? You mentioned there would be medical terms as well, right?

That’s really similar to the sections I had to take. For me NurseHub was extremely similar to the vocabulary section. Multiple words I went over were on there but it’s a new year and every test is different. I would recommend NurseHub but also going over different medical and medical related words on TH-cam etc. (NurseShai is a good reference too)

@@AshantiPhylice girl yes! Next spring I’ll be graduating with my associates degree in science and transferring to a university next fall. I forget that college is still a business so it’s probably in the advisors best interests to make sure students take more classes or enough at whatever institution but what do I know 🤷🏾‍♀️

@@AshantiPhylice Was it the same as the Nursehub diagnostic tests on every subject?? I took mine the first time and didn't do so well because I didn't know exactly what it was going to be like. I know now that if you have any more tips on what you remember that was the HESI, please let me know. Or someone here can help me out. :)

Oh wow!! Thank you for sharing your side of things because I’m sure it’s not a one size fits all. How was nursing school for you?

@ it was tough. You had to learn time management like you stated. It was harder to work and go to school. It was M-F, 8-5:30pm. So you only had sat and Sun to study or work. But now I work full time, my children are older now, out the house. But I’m helping my husband managed a trucking business and my only issue with school is not having a teacher. Went a semester with it instruction but still had exams and I had to learn how to be successful without a teacher. This was hard due to I’m older, almost 50. But with God grace and mercy. He has been showing how to do. Keep up the good work.
