Motionless in white especially Chris Motionless is heavily influenced by Breaking benjamin, Ben burnley voice is iconic and is goated.

thanks for the video! I think if anyone went and listened to all of SATURATE, then listened to this, you could buy that AWAKEN was from that album. to me, it matches the style of it perfectly. There is a reason Chris Cerulli 'motionless' can sound like Ben and why MIW sometimes as a band sounds like BB. Chris and all of the original MIW and all the original members of BB are from essentially the same place. BB based in Wilkes Barre, PA and MIW from West Scranton. BB played in local clubs before getting noticed by a local DJ who contacted a record agent to sign them. IN NEPA we were all listening to BB on radio way before the released SATURATE here is a link (if YT lets it show) to a early BB show (Ben with long hair) they played in June 2003 at the Staircase in Pittston PA, the crowd knows all the lyrics because their songs were all over local mainstream and college radio I would nearly bet MONEY that Chris Motionless was in the crowd at THIS show 😁 "breaking benjamin live at the staircase pittston pa 2003" th-cam.com/video/vsezuD7mYow/w-d-xo.html

People really don't understand how much of an influence Breaking Benjamin has had on the metalcore genre since 1999. MIW being a big example of this. It's blatantly obvious but Chris has gone on the record saying BB was a strong influence on him, which makes a lot of sense seems how they both are from Pennsylvania.

I've tried to get into STP, but I just can't. Even if it's deathcore, I guess I just need a melody somewhere in there. So much of Slaughter just sounds like the same song to me (Bratva was cool though) Maybe I'm just not the target audience, because I don't enjoy Suicide Silence for the same reason. On the flip side, I love stuff like Disembodied Tyrant, Archspire, or Lorna Shore.
