Heat your box to 125 degrees, now do the same test with R-32 tank also heated up to 125 degrees.They say at 120 degrees A2L will become volatile. I never saw a flame or a spark test with the cylinder at temp of 125 now do your same test with everything at 125 even inside your test box . Your service van sitting in direct sun on 90 degree day your service van will exceed 120. Manufactures are vague about how volatile is volatile.????? I enjoyed your vid test, what would your test be like at the temp they say A2L now becomes volatile???????????????????? So A2L volitile test would be interesting to see done. I bought a Reehm unit. I'm 64 years old. I have had 4 service calls in 3 years. I called for my 4th service call Jan 3 2024. It will cost me approx 1000.00+ to repair. It will be 29 degrees where I live and will not be fixed for 4 to 5 days. I'm an old woman. Paid cash for New unit and now have no heat. I'm old...I'm sad...I have been taken advantage of by Rheem. I will be sick after living in the cold for days.

The video is awesome and super helpful. I’m looking to upgrade our older duct work in a similar fashion as describe while also upgrading from R6 to R8 and removing a lot of slack the original installers left in the duct work lines. In terms of the transition boxes, do you have to make them yourself? I’m struggling to find them in typical big box store websites and online. I can easily find knocked down plenums and air returns but not transition. I’ve tried looking at different terminology too. I see some random triangle boxes but almost never the square or rectangle. Am I missing something? Can you use metal transition boxes? Are they purely DIY? Thanks again!

I have a lot of experiences with all types of refrigeration units in the middle east where temps get up to 130 F. When I had R134A units there they would lock up on the really hot days. These units run all day and all night and the only time you see condensate is very early in the morning because the air is so dry. I have used R410 there which is ok but nothing is as good as R22. On our military bases they probably still use R22 because they have tons of it. I don't know about R32 but anytime the government says they are going to make it better they do not. Especially after the four years of green fanatics we just had who do not look ahead for cause and effects as long as they get the credit on their watch that is all they care about. I kept my R22 unit as long as I could and I will keep my R410 unit as long as I can. This is more about "we have a better mouse trap" for someone to pocket a lot of money. I could be wrong but I doubt it not with our government's record on transparency and honesty from either party.

You need to be aware that both R32 or R290 are and can be INTERNALY be EXPLOSIVE (ignition temperature of lubricating oil at the compression cycle) in the presence of air or water. This will not happen if A1 class (like R410A or R513A, R134a etc) . By the way did you know the only reason A1 class (CFC 22, 12, HFC22, HFC410A etc) was SAFETY and since 1928.

Why use either if flammable/explosive when there are over 90 A1 class NON-FLAMMABLE, NON-EXPLOSIVE? and they are more efficient no extra safety...... Also there are no laws or regulations will ban A1 class. You test is a testament to its dangers!!!

I just had my whole system done ductwork and vents cut in. They installed a Trane system. They did an awesome job on the installation and the price was super good.

i filled up my VRV with R454b which was factory charged with 410A... All good no issues here. Machine running even more smooth. You should try this one time on the channel.

THE COMPRESSOR MYSTERIOUSLY WENT OUT 5 MONTHS AFTER THE 5-YEAR WARRANTY EXPIRED! I LIVE IN THE SOUTH BAY AREA OF LOS ANGELES NOT TOO FAR FROM THE OCEAN…WE USE THE A/C MAYBE 3 TO 4 MONTHS OUT OF A YEAR! THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FIX…I BROKE DOWN AND CRIED LIKE A BABY; NOT BECAUSE I WAS A PUNK…BUT BECAUSE I WAS SOOOOO MAD! THE NEW SYTEM COST ME OVER $10,000…THAT’S $24,000 ON HVAC SYSTEMS IN 5 YEARS AND 5 MONTHS!
