@ontheroadaustralia We stayed at the 'Kenilworth Camping' site many times before. I swam in the same river you swam in and nearly swam headfirst into a red belly black snake! On another trip there, we almost stepped on the largest eastern brown I have ever seen. Also, at 'Kenilworth camping by the river' our beautiful red border collie was bitten by another campers dog (he is fine!) All times where I potentially needed to leave in a hurry! But for every scary situation we have had 100 fantastic experiences and memories. Thanks again 🙏

We really like our crosstrak, but like you've mentioned, the wet weather isn't really good for cooking. I'm not sure whether the newer models have an inside kitchen. Thanks for the support, we really appreciate it. Kinbombi Falls isn't too far from Murgon, we've thought about going there for a free camp video. 👍

It's called Waterfall Creek near MountBarney. You go to the campground and follow the creek up to the waterhole.

It's definitely a pretty harrowing experience being out over the edge on the platform.

@@ontheroadaustralia I don't know if you have the latest Camps Free Camping and caravan sites book number 12, and it shows a hell of a lot of decent camping areas ( about 20,000 sites, hardcopy) in Australia, or Wikicamps app which is nowhere as good as it was 2 years ago.

Thanks for the positive comments. We generally assess the trees when we get there. It was the flattest and nicest spot, so we took a calculated risk.

It's through the lake moogerah caravan park now. It's a bit pricey compared to when it was run by council.

It's a San Hima mat, and It was gifted to us from VicOffroad. We do like it, but it does stain easily, and where we've rubbed against it, parts of it seem to be breaking off. We think we might go back to a traditional sand mat if we find a nice colour. Thanks for the support. The next video is out this Saturday!
