Hiking Alone the Vancouver Island Trail, First Section Hike.
That was fun to watch! Great job on the inflation & video! Short & to the point!
Never dry in the sun or any convector.Just put some papers in it and wait😊
thank you !
Great video. Very helpful. Thx
Have you also tried the Norvan LD3? Is the toe box narrow or normal? Similar to Salomon?
Thank you very much for a very informative review. I have a question. Is the mid-sole spongy like in running shoes or hard like in hiking boots? Many thanks.
Thanks for showing cleaning & reapply of protection. Also all the links very useful. Just subscribed to your channel so looking forward to next video. 👍😎🇨🇦
Zeta AR no longer sold by Arc'teryx?
Discontinued and I think they push the beta LT’s to fill that role. Don’t quote me
Now I have to go look up how the Mormons do it. 😂
Спасибо, лучший обзор кроссовок. Недавно купил себе, после твоего обзора, полностью доволен.
You told us what the net carb totals are but what is the total carb count? Thanks.
do you have any other cold soak recipes for Keto? Thanks for this one!
Perfect
Would you know the sleeve length on the men’s medium? Looking at an aftermarket model
Thanks for sharing... By switching the protein powder to (any Isolate whey) you'll drop to zero carbs and also Using sweetener like (swerve) you'll also drop to zero... Reducing your total net carbs a lot. (just saying) ;) I'm eating keto on the trail too. Take care.
Where’s the final result test video?! I’m disappointed…
tres bien
I've hiked mount Albert Edward twice, and would recommend this beautiful hike to anyone who is into hiking. I was 9 when I first hiked it, and last summer I hiked it again when I was 13. One of the most beautiful hikes I have ever been on, and I've been on a lot, can't wait to do it again sometime.
Hello Tomy, great video as always. I was hiking on Forbidden Plateau and came across an old rusty washing machine full of bullet holes. I was able to fit it into my jeep(barely closing the back door) and took it to cumberland to the free metal drop off. Does that count for the 1 gallon challenge! lol....I took photos, maybe I should include them in my upcoming video!
Good stuff.
Thank you! I just received mine and started blowing it up and thought, this can't be right. I wasn't grasping how to get the pump bag inflated. It's so easy!
That place looks awesome 😎 I don't blame you I'd want to go see it too great video
I am new to Keto. I am bringing a pound of Pecan Halves (3200 Cal/Pound) to supply 600 of my daily calories for 5 days. I like fat bomb by mixing Coconut Oil (1/3) & Peanut Butter (2/3) in microwave bowl, heat up, mix well, then pour back into jar. So far, I eat meat, cheese, and nuts. Still working out how to do eggs on trail.
I like your tent too. Where did you get that? Is it easy to set up? Is it light?
Sorry for the long overdue reply. This is the Zpack Duplex tent in Camo. Super easy setup It weighs 1lbs
Great job. Hoping to get the cinder colour next month. My only concern is the stitched section at the back of the shoe. Looks like a weak point.
I have had these since initial market appearance. What an impressive shoe. Hands down.
I am 5.11 , 175LB. Got size M and can wear it with 3-4 layer easily including down jacket. XL should look like and feel like walking tent. Should buy Beta instead due to helmet hood but what done is done. $290 from outlet on sell. Maybe I'll get beta next year
Excellent review. I wish more reviewers provided context and detail like you have. Thanks.
Its on sale for 166€ is it worth it
Hell yes
Beautiful area, Thanks for sharing, Thumbs up 👍
Is that the paradox color ?
Awesome video 😀👍
Awesome video 😀👍
Great review, just bought a same color zeta ar on arc’ s canadian outlet website. 450C$ as same as a beta LT. Difficult choice for me, but finally got this one. Excited to have it soon and hike in the cold Ontario fall.
Hi Tomy! Just came across your channel. Just subbed to support a fellow TH-cam Vlogger and hiker out there. I vlog my adventures from the east coast of the US, mainly in the Appalachian Mountains. Just spreading some positivity and support to your channel. Love watching videos from all over the world and supporting people in my TH-cam outdoors community. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. ~RVA Hiker Girl~
Having used leather mountain boots for most of my outdoor activities, naturally I noticed an increased demand on my ancles ... more so than when using my regular running shoes because of the grip kinda wanted to stick to everything, hehe.
Hello from Queensland Australia. I am putting together my hiking and camping gear to go hiking as we recover from covid. Can you do a full review on the sleeping system that you are using when you go hiking again ?. I woud like to see it in use not just talk about it. As I base my perchising on value not just cost. I notice that ypu have a foam matt as well. Can you explain why ?. Thank you. Gerard.
We really enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time to put them together. We ran into you at Strathcona a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for the advice and information you offer on Vancouver Island hiking.
What is the drop of the shoe?
Drop is 9mm from heel to toe. 3/8”
If you actually put 1500km in those they would be destroyed, especially if they were trail miles. Sounds like a bit of a stretch here mate.
Well, think what you want.. I know they did the 1500km. As stated in video I hike in Pacific Northwest, dirt, beaches, mud, snow and rocks when summit are involved.
Great video, my friend! Lovely hiking adventure! The nature is amazing, too.. Those mountains are incredible...Enjoyed watching it a lot! Cheers from Russia, Tomy , and how about visiting my channel as well? I've got something to share about camping hacks and tips ! Anyway, best wishes in your plans and beginnings! Regards, Yuriy!
I like this Arc'teryx, looking for a running shell. The under arm zips are essential for long distance running. Leaning toward this jacket based on your review. Thanks for posting.
Bought these shoes before seeing your video, always been a fan of arc'teryx (mostly due to my father being a die hard fan). Looking forward to seeing how they fare in the north of sweden. Great review!
I’m still using the ones in this review, at least 1000km in them by now and still going strong. Thanks for watching, hope they feel as good for you as they do for me :)
Great video tomy! Smart call on knowing your body, it wouldn’t have been an ideal situation if you had an injury out there. I rolled my ankle 500m from the lake last year and it wasn’t fun coming out.. Really enjoyed seeing a video from you again!
Thanks man, been way too busy at work.. no time or energy to get out… I feel about 1km from the lake on the way down. Lost my footing on the rocks by the river and almost went in trying to catch my water bottle and broken trekking pole. Hit my knee real hard and my elbow. I always rely on my poles to help the descent, definitely was harder than usual. I think turning around was definitely the right call. Appreciate your continued following 🤙
Great detailed review, made my choice for this one. Thanks
It’s an amazing piece of gear… you will not regret it 🤙
A great hike up there for sure!
A great video production of your hike! Thank you for creating this. Happy trails to you.
Thanks Cliff… glad you enjoyed it 🤙
Fantastic explore! Just some incredible running water and scenes indeed...brings back some great memories of my time living in the Lower Mainland. Hope you are keeping well out there in the heat and keeping safe with the wildfires. So much beauty...thanks so much for sharing. Hope you will be enjoying a wonderful week...Bruce and Otis
Thanks Bruce, yes staying out of the heat but back to work tomorrow.. thanks for watching! Hopefully the wildfires will get under control soon.
Great hike videos. Myself and my family are moving to the island this year and this will definitely be on my list to do. Subbed
Welcome aboard, glad you enjoyed the video… it’s a great hike!
First off, nice to see you back out on the trail. I really like your videos. Drove right past the trail head today, had to make a run to Gold River, such a beautiful drive. I hear you about old injuries, mine goes back to when I was 11 and ended my NHL chances hahaha. Bad knees it is. How steep is the trail to the campsites. I really want to try some day hikes, maybe an overnight, but with the knees complaining like they do, steep is out of the question. Looking forward to the next adventure.
I find the first part to the first campsite was the easiest of the trail. It does go up and down but not difficult. I feel it was steeper in the second part. Been sooooo busy at work, I haven’t had time to get out or make content for either of my YT channels. Back to work this week…. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to get back out soon. Thanks for your following
