Coconut cream powder is super tasty and high in fat and in powder form it weighs less than coconut oil and can be premixed.
I have a keto breakfast mix which consists of roasted flaked almonds, toasted coconut flakes, mixed seeds, cacao nibs and goji berries. I have it with some blueberries and full fat Greek yogurt.

I am new to Keto. I am bringing a pound of Pecan Halves (3200 Cal/Pound) to supply 600 of my daily calories for 5 days. I like fat bomb by mixing Coconut Oil (1/3) & Peanut Butter (2/3) in microwave bowl, heat up, mix well, then pour back into jar. So far, I eat meat, cheese, and nuts. Still working out how to do eggs on trail.

Thanks for sharing... By switching the protein powder to (any Isolate whey) you'll drop to zero carbs and also Using sweetener like (swerve) you'll also drop to zero... Reducing your total net carbs a lot. (just saying) ;) I'm eating keto on the trail too. Take care.

Thanks for the recipe. This sounds really good. I don't do keto anymore, but like to stay low carb. I might use dates and add chopped nuts or something like that.

I'll share one of my fav savory cold meals. Some people don't eat tomato, so you can eliminate the sundried tomatoes in olive oil it if you want, but adds great flavor and not many carbs. I take Crushed hemp hearts, keto friendly nuts and a couple chopped sundried tomatoes (if you eat them), mixed with olive oil and garlic, salt, paprika, chili powder and pinch of red pepper. Don't over process or you will get butter. On trail, I roll up a couple cabbage leaves to bring with me. Tastes a bit like taco. I hacked it from a vegan taco recipe and made it keto. Try it and add to your channel if you wish. I really like it.

Love it! It would be interesting to try a type of cold brew tea in there, too.

You told us what the net carb totals are but what is the total carb count? Thanks.

Sounds yummy for breakfast. How come you don't just mix it all together before you leave on trail? I mix almond butter and butter 2:1, put it in a Justins jar, and just eat it with homemade sesame crackers on trail. 12oz with crackers is like 4000 calories in there. Probably not ideal ratios, but I don't track that so carefully since I don't backpack but a handful of times in the summer.

It would work too. I guess I like to organize my food daily . If it’s in the same jar I might run out too fast...
Do you have recipe for these crackers?

@@TomyHovingtonHiking I don't do the rounds like the recipe. I just spread in cookie sheet and score when it comes out to break it up. They don't take like much alone, but great for dipping and getting good fats. www.myketokitchen.com/keto-recipes/keto-crackers/

Thanks Tommy. It's not something I'd use, but I will share it on the keto hikers thread on Trek-lite.com
    Cheers
