Simply consider Earned value is the budged value of workdone. Here work done is 2 so per wall completion amount per wall(1000) multiplied with 2 = 2000 (Earned Value) however you planned that on day 25 what 2.5 wall should be completed which is 1000*2.5 = 2500(planned value).
