Quantum Break is cool.. 👌

It's crazy to think this is probably the first long-awaited sequel to a game I've seen in a long time that improves and maintains the premise of the first game. You might at first get the impression it's more "cinematic" because of the cutscenes but the rest of the time you are playing STALKER, its not Chernobyl FarCry or Chernobyl Skyrim or Chernobyl Cyberpunk. The Zone is still the Zone, in all its beauty and all its horror after so many years.

Clear Sky is also my favorite, The mission objectives (from time to time) are too janky in COP and SOC which earns them less points. Clear Sky's story progression was just simply more straightforward and I dont know why Call of Pripyat didnt follow that structure, its almost like COP took 1 step forward and 1 step back, and with less areas to explore, COP also earns less points...

After playing Stalker 2 and having that game finally get me into the series; I’m excited to finally want to play the Clear Sky & the other 2 games. A lot of what you said in the video reminds me of the new HoC.

Well, Ukraine was part of Russia before. And GSC chose to use russian language for their first three stalkers. Just listen to the differences for the monolith back then and now. Now the head of the ukranian gov says: "to the last Ukranian" Now you tell me where the fault really lies. Now you have AZOV, Jews trying to pose as the Herrenrasse. When they themselve call normal ppl goyim. When they actually are the synagouge of satan. Hmm???

It's ironic that Stalker 2 seems like an ubisoft game now with painted ladders and needless game markers.

Im in my 30s and really busy with life. I lost my passion for gaming for a long time, especially AAA games and I thought i outgrew them. Control really brought back my love for games and i love how mature remedy games are as an adult. They really make you THINK. I brought brand new headphones and a monitor for Alan Wake 2 because it deserves to be played at its best.

What you said regarding the Lfo rec is everything I HATE about Anomaly/Gamma. It's the free-form play along with the debugger that makes it for me. Of course the story/quests are mostly a joke. I personally enjoy the wider weapon selection even though it isn't faithful to the series. Also thanks for giving CS some love.

I guess it's nice if you wanna just pick up and play it, but I think the aspect of having to infinitely learn to keep up with new software and hardware on a pc... that's what brings the most enjoyment. You'll pick it up more, learn a language that'll confuse 90% of people, and eventually become your own tech support and never deal with crappy customer support at the end of the day, those games can all be emulated, but I guess if you don't really spend money on it, why not 🤷‍♂️

Those zombified enemies are still scary to me. A zombie that can shoot guns and always walk slow and straight at you while moaning and shooting their guns 🥶

I wish there was a fix for the audio mix in Call of Pripyat. Dialog is way too loud and footsteps and weapon sounds are super low.

Amazing video that managed to capture the last the last 20+ years of my life in 15 minutes! I absolutely loved Max Payne 1 & 2 and now Alan Wake 2 blew my mind! As a Finn, I've played all of them but I agree with your points about Alan Wake 1 and Quantum Break, even though I had a good time playing both. I actually quite liked Max Payne 3 too, even though it wasn't made by Remedy. I guess I'll have to load my save in Control and continue the story, for some reason I never finished that game even though I did find the environment and destruction of it very captivating. I think what you said in he beginning is key to enjoying a Remedy game: If you don't pay attention to the world and story, you're really missing out.

The only thing that Stalker Clear Sky needs is gameplay overhaul, because the gameplay in this game, even in comparison to Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat sucks. Like, the weapons are bad and even upgrades doesn't save them. The prices for the upgrades are too expensive, so expensive that I can't even upgrade a Clear Sky faction armor that was given to me after helping them out, because one upgrade takes away almost all of my money. The grenades, when you throw them, are tend to disappear in mid air when you throw them, which automatically makes you waste them for no reason. The night time is longer than the day time and they switch too fast between each other. The artifacts are mostly useless, because if in original game they could give you either better stamina, restoring health or making you carry too much stuff without getting tired, in Clear Sky most of them are giving you a radiation poisoning, so when you put at least one artifact on your belt, it gonna slowly kill you, and that entirely renders artifacts useless. So instead of using them for myself, I sell them to upgrade my armor. Which leads me to the economy system in this game. It sucks too! Like, when you sell something, you can't get enough money to upgrade something, and on the other hand everything is expensive, so you can't even buy a proper gun because it will cost like a trillion $ or something like that. So the best bet is to find someone's gun, fix it, upgrade it and use it. And that leads to the fact that you can't even try every gun out until the end of the game. Like, most of the time I only use my AK-47 and Vintar BC. Later I upgrade a pistol, or find upgraded pistol from one of the bandits on the outpost and that's it. You can't even try all of the guns out because you don't have the chance to do so, because all of the guns sucks and they are expensive to buy or impossible to find. So yeah, Stalker Clear Sky needs a massive gameplay overhaul, because playing vanilla game is painful. You can't even stash some of your guns to later pick them up, because they will be gone automatically after you load your save file back when you return to the game.

I am liking this video just based on its title. Remedy is a beacon of light in a the dark world of remakes, IP vampires, and unoriginality.

i was a PC gamer for a long time and came back and fell in love with Xbox, also bought ps5 but xbox is my main console, console gaming is just for me, old memories came back i was born with controller tbh lmao

Overall Great video. Just got a series x, after swapping to ps5 only for last couple of years, Audio at times distracting, mic change maybe or something. Love the series x but would say the interface isn’t as nice looking as ps5 and games available probably not as good, uncharted, the last of us, ghost of tsushima, wukong, and the list goes on, obviously Xbox has most cods, gears, halo, etc. you for now need both, but as games become cloud based or more available on pc, eventually I feel you will just be able to play anything on any device. That looks to be the direction Xbox will go.

Is it better to get a 360 or original Xbox? I know it can be subjective, but I ask cause I want to play fable,oblivion and tc pandora tomorrow. Plus other games I didn’t give a chance to back then, since some games now a days just have too much going on. Just trying to relax and play games and have ownership.

Overall, the three patches they released have fixed 90% of the bugs. Does it still crash the odd time? Yes, it does, but show me a game that has been released in the past five years that's NOT full of bugs. Almost all of the games released in the past five years release early access to max their profits and have the community do their work for them.
