@@CLRgamingRN will do. I keep checking the Discord and I saw that Merge games closed some offices in England and laid off a lot of people but the Devs working on Smallands are still hard at work. Hope they can get this solved. We like No Man's Sky but it is not as fun or relaxing at Smallands. Hiding behind Jer-Gnome (my tree butler) is a good tip to avoid that. They do need to turn off collision or make it to where you can't fall off the ship. They don't allow you to jump off the ship, so you'd think they'd have implemented that already. Thanks for all the feedback, please forgive the late response. I hope you've had a great day.

@CLRgamingRN I'm still broken but making good progress. Hoping to be able to start putting weight on my foot in about a week. Wish I could show you how I build my bases. They so far can handle some.pretty serious horde action. Sort of like what you're going for but not as complicated of a lead up to the fighting position. Hopefully you spin a good skill tree for horde night. Fingers crossed. Hope.you get get healed up as well. Don't push to hard.

Yes, I need to see some examples of other bases. I’m nervous to see what we will land on. Perception day would be horrible hopefully we won’t get it again. Soon you will be running, jumping and back to kick boxing like your glory days, eh? Haha!

@@BaconBus Hope you are recovering well! The base design she is going for is a loop type base, which is doable...but I worry about the Rage Mode mechanic with what she has planned so far. Just depends on what gamestage she is at on Day 7, and how far she can upgrade the blocks. Obviously, concrete makes it all ez mode at her current level, but I dont think she can muster that! We shall see!

@Kenjanz yes, I could see it was a loop type. But I was also concerned due to how close the ground is to the fighting position. Will be exciting at least I am sure.

I was setting one up before I got sick - I will have to see if I finished it. There’s so much I want/ need to do. I want to reserve a day to play with members and patreons, I would love to do another stream, set up discord (and be active in it). Finally, a bike and boy did we put it to use in this episode! I am enjoying 1.0 so far. The cap on trader missions really does slow down progression, but I’m fine with that. I just wish TH-cam would push the 7 days to Die content as much as my Smallands or Planet Crafter. I hate abandoning series. The wheel is free and can be found at wheelgames.org

We just got a brand-new kitten and Kevin fit him perfectly! He is always up to something, and I am having to yell out his name like Home Alone constantly, lol. Now for the second half. It took me a bit because I wanted to give a thoughtful answer. Granted I may be biased because I love this game... I am amazed at the transformation this game has undergone in just a little over a year that I have been playing it. I will never forget the experience of exiting the burrow and having a ladybug walk past me. Or the feeling of finally flying through the air on the back of Skybird. They have done an incredible job creating an amazing environment. Some aspects of combat are lacking, in my opinion - mainly boss fights. The "rubber banding" is annoying and easy exploitable. The villages and tower fights were very "cookie-cutter." The blocking, if done right is pretty powerful. Granted I don't like combat so it's perfect for me, haha. A big grip I had in the past was how useless the tames were, but they have improved and are continuing to improve it. In my first season I never bothered with a tame because they would constantly die. Now being able to actually fight alongside your tame has changed the game tremendously. Merge has been active and are constantly working on updates (nearly every 2-3 months they have released pretty big updates). They are attempting to listen to the community and make changes accordingly. Some people are not happy at the speed or what they choose to focus on, but you'll never please everyone. I wish console updates and bugs would be smoother, but consoles have a bit more red tape to overcome then an update on Steam. I'm excited to see where this game will go. So, in a very long-winded response to your question - Yes, I believe this game is headed in the right direction. I feel it is worth the $35 (or wait for it to go on sale for $20). The experience and feeling from riding on the back of Skybird alone is worth it. They have also promised to add new chapters (and we have only played Chapter 1) - so I cannot wait for that. I noticed during editing - that as I was entering the cave there were purple flowers that said Ambrosia you could pick and I walked right on past them. The 2nd items? If I remember correctly, there use to be some armor he would give, but that was very early on for those who had donated to the game. It is no longer attainable. I’m not too sure if that is what you are referring to. I will check my game later on tonight and check it out.

Hey Sleezy, sorry it took me a bit. I checked my Season 1 account just to make sure I was thinking of the right thing. It was that armor set given to donors when the game 1st came out. I don't know why they still have it in the codex (other than to confuse people). So, you should be good to go. There is nothing on your end to get to fill it out, hope that helps.
