Show was in Marietta, GA.

I'm 65 and Eddie Fiola was and still is the sheet! I mean sheet! look at this Dude! He totally rocked the Cali parks with the best color combo's and just oozed coolness. I was stuck in Texas with nary a park even for a skateboard, I had an 83 white GT PRO Performer and could do a Miami hopper sometimes and ride good wheelies but I missed the learning curve, and trying it again at this late age has brought me great pain and suffering in recent times with a busted coccyx and now a crushed elbow from catching a pedal upon entering a large bowl going head first to the bottom and using my pad-less elbow to break my fall, cracked rib, severely bruised pelvis, bruised wrists and hands. I was helped out of the bowl and to my truck and by then I had two giant knots on my elbow. I drove home purely on adrenaline and could not walk for two weeks. it's been 7 months, I have not yet been to get x rays, I have ok movement but can't straighten it out fully and can feel a couple of gaps in the bone. I play guitar and this was my wake up call, and I will continue to live my park dreams through Eddie and his friends, and just keep riding for fun! ..PS: I have the August 82 edition of BMX ACTION... Thanks Eddie for all you have done and continue to do for this great sport!....jimmy from Tx.
