Solar Training is our specialty! We offer short courses on solar photovoltaic. You can become a solar installer, a designer, a technician, a solar warrior with us! Our homebase is South Africa, we have 3 Academies here, with 6 more branches in Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola and Ghana. Since 2012, we have already trained more than 3,400 participants. Our courses are supported by the German Solar Energy Society DGS who is one of the founders of GREEN.
How to size a PV system for optimal financial returns
Rudolph Kotze, trainer at GREEN Solar Academy Johannesburg and founder of CCSO Solar, recently hosted a webinar on the optimal sizing of solar systems for the best financial returns.
"You need to find the right sizing of a system to fully utilize your solar panels and to minimize the use of Eskom power," says Rudolph, emphasising the importance of designing systems that balance solar generation and storage capacity. He explains: "We can't sell systems today based only on load shedding and what we think the customer needs. It is a calculation to make sure that the customer gets the best financial result for their investment."

hi, thanks for this pretty amazing and easy to follow tutorial. i have two issues. i get a message when i click active my builfing. i cannot do it only roof as you didi why? it is said: not enough mounting surface in my 3d model. how can I solved it? the visulaization of my 3d model is totally white and difficult to distinguish each element. how can I change the visulaization?

pv sol was recommended by an ex installer and he highly praises it but im finding it a little bit more difficult than open solar. i have only explored 2, hopefully i can find something a bit easier.
Helioscope is far more easier and in my opinion far more better.
