By the end of this video, you will be able to say Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz.
This is a quick-start guide for reading Polish (mostly in your head) so that you can begin learning new words.
This video was an experiment. I'm not a native Polish speaker, and so I feel like an impostor teaching it, but I often learn a lot from fellow students, not only teachers or native speakers, so I thought this might be helpful and could provide a slightly different perspective. Let me know what you think!

Krakow Suburbs Walking Tour with an Australian Living in Poland
มุมมอง 2.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Showing you the non-touristy parts of Krakow - where people actually live! The central old town is nice, but it doesn't represent the rest of Krakow. I really like the suburbs of Krakow, so nice and green. So I took the chance on this sunny autumn day to show you around and tell you about Krakow from my perspective. Before you ask - no I'm not Polish! I have a Belarusian background but grew up ...
Bellroy Venture Ready Pack (26L) Review - After 7 Days of One Bag Travel in Europe
มุมมอง 10K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Get the backpack here - bellroy.com/products/venture-ready-pack I spent a week in the Bavarian Alps with the Bellroy Venture Ready Pack (26L). I actually bought it for living as a digital nomad. The plan is to have just this bag and a suitcase. However, that's still about 6 months away. For now, I will be using it for backpacking or "one bag travel" both in cities and nature hiking. Pros: - Hig...
Silent Walk in Park Lotników, Kraków, Poland + Testing the DJI Osmo Pocket 3
มุมมอง 5257 หลายเดือนก่อน
3rd May, 2024. It’s a public holiday in Poland. I’m in Park Lotników Polskich. Just one of many beautiful green parks in Kraków. It’s right behind Tauron Arena. I recently bought a new camera - the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 - and I wanted to test it out. Here we have plenty of ambient sound, birds singing, people enjoying the park. I’m walking naturally without trying to stabilize the camera, and I’m u...
Essential Gear for Starting a Youtube Channel - My minimal and compact “studio”
มุมมอง 2.2K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
As a beginner, you have to eliminate distractions. Invest in some gear that will keep you focused on communicating to your audience, rather than the technicalities of making a video. I'm not a filmmaker. This video isn't even colour-graded (see that matrix green?). My priority is to make videos quickly! And to communicate effectively with my audience. Until I'm doing that perfectly and easily c...

Thanks, I just moved to Greenpoint Brooklyn which is apparently a historically Polish neighborhood. Lots of polish signs here I couldn’t read 😅
My wife says no chance she is learning that language lol
15:18 'som' (not 'son') fits better here
great vid 🥵
Can you list the items
thanks for the video I think it's the same if you move to any country with different language and on top of that work from home I see similar issues from a lot of my friends and content creators who moved to different countries. If you are really serious about living permanently in any country make local friends hang out with them you will get fluent in no time. Idk if I will come to poland or not I'm applying for jobs in few different countries seems like lovely country
I think you have pretty well nailed it. Beurocratic procedures can be quite a nightmare in Poland as certain things, the way the state treats its citizens, still have the roots in the communist system, or even times of the Russian occupation during the 19th century. As to your issues with no 100% language proficiency, they are common to all the migrants in other cultures. As an Australian born and brought up in Poland, I still don't quite belong in Australia even after living here for most of my life, and even that a third of Australians were born overseas and it's a multicultural society. Sometimes I feel more at home in Poland where I often visit. Good luck with your life there and hope you can make more friends! 🤗
ULANZI MT-84 has a magsafe connector I ordered one from Aliexpress for £21
I picked up this tripod after seeing your video. I believe your recommendation is spot on...honestly, the tripod is awesome and so is your review.😎
Perfect walking video, dude. Love the talking, the explanations and you showed us the city. Thanks and keep up
Great review Eduard, thank you. I couldn't make up my mind whether to purchase this backpack or not, but after watching this video I feel much better about it. Thank you
Thanks for the useful video!!
what are your comments on the travel backpack from Bellroy?
Great video, would have never thought Krakow looked like this, and now I want to visit!
air quality is the big one. poland has sometimes worse air than india and has a lower life expectancy because of it
Bro shifted from Tripod Review to Weapon Review too quickly - Never expected that a tripod could be used as a baton!
Dude what is your accent?
Just Australian but I try to speak more clearly for an international audience. I think more than 7 years in Europe have also changed it.
You should go to a Wisła Kraków football match if u havent, I've been going there for around ~5 years and its a really nice semi-weekly addition to the boring living in the suburbs :)
Excellent! you're a natural! Can't believe this is your first review! Killin it!😊
Thank you!
Do you use a mac book pro to edit your videos? I was thinking to get a iPad Pro with at least M2 chip. But what program are you using to edit?
Yes, I'm using a Macbook Pro with Final cut. A keyboard is very important for fast editing, I can't imagine using just an ipad touch screen.
@@eduardfastovski thanks for reply, im leaning towards doing the new mac mini and upgrading an external for 2 tb
8:16 In my time, 40 years ago, the commands in karate, ju-jitsu and aikido were given in Japanese. That could well be the reason why your knowledge of Polish is not sufficient... 😉
Bro grew up in the hood, he is ready to fight!
dont give up mate! you will get it eventually. worst case scenario you could get some extra polish lessons. greetings, Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz xD
Very good video. Many observations on point. Regarding communist way of building, the problem was, that they almost never included maintenance const, in their “business plans”. In result blocks themselves and small green areas around, were degrading over years (as almost everything at these times). Other disadvantage of communist style is stretching the city. If you saw American cities, you can understand how big problem it can be, especially if the city wants to have effective public transportation, like trams. Public transportation benefits from people congestion around the stops. I’m not saying that the older way of building did not have its benefits, but important to understand disadvantages as well. Most tourists or foreigners on TH-cam, focus on city center, usually judging the entire city and how good it is to live there, based on tourist places. Nice to see different approach.
Modern planning stretches the city a lot more. People move out from the downtown and adjacent districts into suburbia-style rows of terraced houses without receiving almost any type of public transport and other local amenities like schools, shops or clinics. Communist planned districts are one of the very few thing that actually worked quite well in the previous system. Of course they weren't perfect and had their flaws.
The people that left USA are the lucky ones. After opened borders for four years, everything has been turned upside down. A lot more folks have left the country. The country that so many people enjoyed visiting or moving to, has changed. Truthfully, I want to cry.
Have you tried using it with the Dji-Gimbal in the meantime? I just bought the insta 360 flow and am looking for something like that to film myself when I busk on the street. I am a bit worried it cannot carry the weight because it's just 30 dollars. What do you think? Thank for your review!
I've been looking for one just like this, but with a cold shoe mount, still haven't found one 🙁
Very nice ! You were so fluent !
Other pros: a very safe and clean country, a reasonable common sense attitude to everyday matters, openness of the people to different cultures / ideas while still keeping a more traditionalist / conservative stance, respect for family values / elders, general feeling of freedom in everyday life, optimistic attitude and steady economic progress - these are things that unfortunately you cannot take for granted in many Western European countries nowadays.
i have this bag and really like it, but i agree on the capacity. I have taken it on light hikes as well and it wasn’t bad. But I would not take this on a strenuous hike.
Nice video I really enjoy different than "ours" point of view Also, I am not much familiar with Kraków residential areas :) Although were there quite few time. I come from place in the middle between Kraków and Warsaw. I live in Warsaw for around 20 years, and indeed Kraków is more green, but Warsaw is not that bad either. Same as in Kraków, if you are in "communistic bloki area" then there is greenery and stuff. Central Warsaw is more concrete, true. But there also are parks here and there. This was to say that Warsaw is not completely without greenery, just less than in Kraków. Also, I believe when you said you like more get things done better than wait because of some small rule is your Slavic soul :) Which is beautiful. As to parking on footpaths - you are allowed but: 1. your car cannot be heavier than 2 500 kgs 2. you need to leave at least 1,5 meters wide pavement for pedestrians. So when pavement is less than 1,5m you cannot park on it. 3. you cannot obstruct pedestrian traffic and parking on opposite side is not allowed, there is fine for that. But police and other authorities hardly ever fines you for that. Cyclists: if there is a cyclists path, they need to use it (and there can be fine if you don't use it). If no cyclist path, then they go on road. Unless pavement is wider than 2 meters or they feel in danger on road or bad weather like heavy rains/snow, etc.. But they need to have speed more-less same as walking person and pedestrians are always priority. One more case: if you are a parent with kid who is 10 years old or less and uses a bicycle (both kid and parent). In last case kid and parent (custodian) is treated as a pedestrian.
Super tripod have one too
I lived my whole life in the commie blocks (almost 10 different locations) and I'd always take living there over living in the newer developments. If they are renewed, which most of them are, and housing cooperative responsible for the building is fair, then they are super nice to live in.
pls, don't use that ugly ass logo to represent the city, it has its cout of arms and it has over 700 years old edit: also, I love Poland, but one of the things that I hate here is the chaos in urbanisation/architecture (especially in the newer parts of the city or where the new and old meet)
As Pole I have to admit you're so right about taxation, every month is pain - sho do simpler and paid 1 /year
I just bought this bag and have taken it on one short weekend trip. I liked it, but wish the shoulder straps had more padding. Were they comfortable enough for you traveling for one week?
9:55 the Australian way is to ban things first, and ask questions later
