Finally, I can talk about this-I love how Zack’s perspective is obviously a little different and Sephiroth actually speaks to him freely to an extent letting him know that he might end up betraying Shinra. by the way the end of this chapter as far as I played the game before starting rebirth, (I didn’t need to finish the game. I know how it ends.)

I really love Zack and Sephiroth because there is a semblance of trust between them just because Zack was close to Angeel… if you think about it, maybe that’s why he is so adamant about controlling Cloud- the next two chapters super charged my soul yo! Mind you I played this game directly after playing the first demo that came out for rebirth🥰 and I’m so glad I did, it’s amazing the little details you pick up on, not just the big ones

So glad I found you. Loving your LIS playthroughs! So glad you found " Tell me why" a loy of people miss it. Microsoft wanted n Exclusive LIS game, but because of SquareEnix they couldn't so they dropped the LIS name off of it. I strongly believe it should be played after LIS2, and before true colors.

gona be such a good year for LIS fans. Double exposure, Lost records, AND " Mix tape" also looks like some amazing LIS style game goodness!

I just finished playing and got the Blood Brothers ending. I think I made some questionable decisions along the way that lowered Daniel's morality, but my mindset was that they had to do anything to survive, including stealing and stuff like that. I don't think there's a perfect ending, each has its pros and cons. But after watching all the endings, Blood Brothers is definitely my favorite. I appreciate that at the end of the game it frames the decisions as overall teaching Daniel to put himself and his brother first vs teaching him to follow the rules of society, rather than simply teaching him to be moral/immoral because It's not as black and white as that. Parting Ways is my second favorite, but I dislike that they can never see each other again, and I can't imagine either of them being truly happy. I like that Daniel gets to see Chris again and Sean gets to be with Finn or Cassidy, but their bond with each other was the most important thing, and they lose that. I really dislike the Redemption ending because Sean wastes 15 years in prison for something he didn't do, just so Daniel can live a decent life without his brother. It feels like it goes against the game's theme of rebelling against a broken system. Even when Sean gets out, he's completely broken. And obviously, the Lone Wolf ending is the worst. So, for me, it's Blood Brothers 100%. It's implied they might see Finn, Cassidy, and possibly even Chris in Mexico someday. They get to live by their own rules, and I like that, even if they're a bit crooked... I don't think that they necessarily became criminals, just that they had trouble with local gangs, I think the point of showing that is Daniel will always protect his brother. I think the whole message of the game was that people considered criminals/fugitives (Sean and Daniel), are not necessarily bad people. I think that this ending reaffirms this message. You can also see how much they've grown closer and appreciate each other without words. They're the only people who know what each other have been through, and they deserve to be together.

I'm playing this game at the moment and I'm obsessed. I just wanted to leave a comment to say that these videos are getting me through a really hard time and i really enjoy watching your reactions and choices. I'm also a fan of the romance Finn option because I think it's more interesting to go down the path of Sean exploring his sexuality. I also don't think he's as bad as people make out since he just wanted to have money and stability for himself, Sean and Daniel :(

33:32 that was not the most cringe date you’ve ever seen, oh no, far from… That was actually like getting to know someone, learning something about them that you didn’t realize you thought was scary and it’s not-of course I mean not all operatives of every organization are created equal. But anyway what I’m trying to say is that was a completely normal thing to happen on a date. And he bought her something she will always have. Yo, the animations for all the special moves from the DMW are so great, I’ve spent more time doing missions than actually playing the game, started right after playing the first demo for rebirth and I still haven’t beaten the game… But not because I can’t just because I don’t want to or really care too because I know how it ends-i’d rather hundred percent the missions and get the trophy for that, but there’s one mission where you have to defeat 1000 infantry dudes, that one took me probably 20 minutes with the buster sword… but I didn’t manage to get the sword leveled up to 10😂 I wouldn’t call that spoiler, it’s a mission and missions are not part of the story -it’s just grinding and attaining extra items I did play through chapter 8 before starting rebirth❤

When angeal picked Zack up I lost it! I also don’t blame septhiroth at all, I was like, let genesis kill him but then remembered it won’t happen 😅 I hated that genesis boss fight when I frought him in the original psp. But cloud strife is finally here! Love how square enix did it! It’s just crazy with how different he was in crisis core compared to final fantasy 7. Love the gameplay. Angeal is my favorite character along with sephiroth. I also love their friendship, even though these days I’m shipping them together 🏳️‍🌈

Hii, I know this is way too late but your playthrough is probably my favorite one I've seen so far(And I've seen a lot)! You are so quickly so emotionally invested and think about everything, which is exactly the way this game was intended to be played and I dont like how many people just rush through it! You should’ve used Daniel power to push lisbeth away, that was the way to spare her. You’re suppose to encourage Daniel to use his power in situations like this not suppress it. That’s why the percentage was low for shooting lisbeth

I'm so happy you got this ending! Like someone else said, it sucks we don't get to actually see Sean, but the writing in that is so special. The game was always about Daniel. If you think about it, the first game, you play as the main character with the power, and in True Colours (Spoilers) the main character has the power. Makes me wonder who's the main character in this game.

Lone Wolf Daniel shows various marks of trauma and PTSD; the hair change is disassociation from his brother, he changed the color because he doesn't want to remember that part of himself that reminds him of Sean. The drawing is also likely a way of expressing himself considering he is alone. and he drew a picture of a wolf howling which is often what wolves do when in pain or lost. in Blood Brothers yes they both make it to Mexico...but it is insinuated the people of Puerto Lobos fear them, thye think they are some kind of evil duo...and they have been doing some unethical work. so really none of the endings are good...there is no GOOD ending to LIS 2...you just have to pick which you prefer. personally i like Parting Ways.

the first ending sucks for Sean because being in prison changes you as a person...personally i never choose this ending, surrendering to the law is in this way after everything just feels wrong. if you keep in touch with Lyla she also appears at the prison. Lone Wolf may be the darkest ending but it is really well told, Daniel's change into an emotionally trauamtised person is so well shown in Mexico. the way he threatens those thugs...he is like "i could do it...i could kill you...but i'm not gonna". my spanish isn't great but in the Lone Wolf ending it the newspaper said "massacre at the border" and the other paper said "plague of pickpockets effect tourism in Puerto Lobos"

In my opinion, Karen is a heavily complex character. Her desire to not fit into any societal norms is completely fair, but on the other hand her bailing on her kids with no word is completely unfair. One thing she says stick out to me. She mentioned she didn't want to be a part-time pissed off mom. I've seen those type of parents. The ones who didn't get the life they dreamed of, who are so resentful of their past decisions they grow bitter towards the people they should love. She didn't want to become that kind of parent.

love the cosplay! I know there's some people that hate Aerith's blue dress and prefer the pink one, but I LOVE both and don't understand the hate. It is strange to see Sephiroth without the maniac personality that you knew throughout final fantasy 7, but it makes you feel for him. It made me hate Hojo more, but again....Hojo's a insane creep. but love your gameplay, and it is very rare to see people doing the missions as they play along the story, a lot of gamers just do the story rather than the missions so respect! Love your reaction to the fight, which is one of my favorite cutscene through crisis core! Fun fact: This is when Sephiroth became one of my favorite characters!

Perfect ending first try, congrats! Kinda boring IMO, but very emotional, a fan favorite. You probably have been told this already, but give other Quantic Dream games a try, Heavy Rain is amazing and Beyond Two Souls is the runt of the litter, but also a good experience.
