How many times a week should train skills?
so that means 12 sets in one workout right?
Lauris Leikarts says ice cream makers is a trash exercise. ,,No control, no real purpose". Now I'm not sure where the truth is. Some contradictory advice.
Try learning the front lever for 6 week or so (3 week with ice cream makers and 3 weeks without) and see which period gave you the best result, if you don't wanna do that for whatever reason, fitness FAQ made a video about ice cream makers, why they are trash and gave another exercise to do instead of ice cream makers. Have a good day and good luck with your training :)
@@blablasijus as mentioned in the video, for everybody it’s going to be different, You have to understand, that none of us have the same genetics, parameters etc. Personally for me (STRENGTHIST) this exercise (ice cream makers) worked really well and negatives didn’t, but maybe for You for example, negatives would work much better than ice cream makers, By utilizing our 12-set method, You would only need to choose one of all complimentary exercises listed on this video (in rare cases two) ice cream makers would primarily attack Your core, it would force you to hold Your hips in one position, it also mimics the entrance to front lever, which makes the exercise more useful, it trains proper scapular retraction and depression, essential for maintaining a solid shoulder position in the front lever and sometimes combining dynamic movement with static holds improves Your ability to stabilize in the lever position, so it is important that You listen carefully and up to You to decide if You need this exercise. As for who would You need to listen to, it’s Your choice, everyone has his own training methods, we have an over a decade of experience in calisthenics and 8+ years of experience in helping people to reach their goals, we are also active world level calisthenics athletes so it is very much in our interest to learn about calisthenics every day, to find new approaches and best exercises. Thank You for Your comment and wish You best of luck with Your journey!
Very good content guys, cant wait for the next one ;)
What a cinematic training program video. Next a another one about implementing freestyle training please.
Oh, that will be tough, bet Your message is heard, we will do it🤝
You both were funny when explaining the method 😂 keep it up bro!! 🎉🎉
I have been using the 12 set framework for a month and really happy with the results! I used to work out with tuck planche, and now my workout is: Planche Routine Straddle Press to Handstand to Straddle Planche Negative - 5 reps 4 sets Handstand Push-Ups - 5-8 reps 4 sets Elevated Planche Lean Holds - 45 seconds 4 sets In my 26th session! Just gotta stay consistent and I'll achieve my planche
Good work! Thanks for Your feedback!
@Strengthist_ 100%! The framework is surely being effective for me, and I plan on sticking to it for a long while. Hopefully I'll get my planche by 2025 still! Started taking creatine which could help due to the strength boost and recovery speed up. I'm very optimistic about it. Mad respect guys! High quality content you two make. Crazy how this channel is so small with the ammount of knowledge here. Love from Brazil!
quality shit boys😍
Nice info and thnx for that. But hot to implement it when u want to learn planche and front lever. Separate days or same day?
super underrated channel
Should have doubled downed
You are very charismatic and joyful...keep going
Too bad I'm not a beginner anymore, I can straddle planche with the right form after a long time of bad form yet can muscle up (I'm not joking) And I must say that the video quality was pretty good, tons of information with fun jokes, and good sound and video quality that was so good it looked like a motivational video for some reason
I’m sorry, I didn’t quite understand that, so You can straddle planche and can’t muscle up?
Omg thier video quality and information top notch thing is just lit man 🔥🔥 Keep uploading bro ... Love from CALISTHENICS Whatttt I just saw ... It's freeee ... Omgggg love you guyss ❤❤
Thanks!🤝
Start of the video sounds like quandale dingle😂
😂😂
really cool video
Appreciate it🙏
nice
Thank you!🙌
I can do an I sit and its really pretty easy, i could do it before i did any other skill, it is really just mobility and a bit of triceps
I visited your TH-cam channel and I am really impressed by the content you create, but your videos are not properly do SEO, which is preventing your videos from reaching a wider audience. We can discuss this if you want.
Could you make a video about full complete guide for full planche and full FL🔥🙏
th-cam.com/video/yjHcyYvPfg8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YDe6FbJKozJ7tnQB Here's our video on planche
How come its only 34 likes
One of the best videos I've seen on TH-cam 👍
10:25 GET OUT!!
Can u make a video about dealing with sternum pain in dips, When i first started I didn't have it but now I can't do 1 single dip without pain
might be inflamed, go to a doctor
@@xsunshine99_45 It's not about that I can every single exercise in the gym without pain including the chest exercises but anyways THANKS for the advice
@@amazinggames-5809 okay, that's quite interesting, i don't know your full story so it's hard to say why you experience pain with dips. I have never experienced any pain, even when i was a beginner and could barely do a couple reps, now i can easily blast 15+ reps with 16 kg weight and still have never experienced any pain. So it could be that your form is incorrect or some other issues. I hope you can figure it out or consult proper help. GOOD LUCK
@@xsunshine99_45 Thanks bro
What I mean is ... The first person should be pinned 😂... Btw love your video ❤
Where neckhold 😔
insane
the only one who can do the hardest skill the reverse planche (that i saw) is kivenro you have to check him out
Dragon flag at easy 💀
Nice video by floor is harder then dragon maltese and Manna is not Elite, its near planche level. You also have huge overvalue for one arm front lever, its criminal to put it above straight arm touch and maltese on floor. Also stanchev maltese is weird idk what to say about it, could be easier then floor. I would say one arm flag is also over valued and should for sure be lower then planche, probably the easiest "hard" skill. Also hefesto is way harder then straddle planche and wide front lever is also for sure harder then straddle as well. Hefesto judging by the hard list, should be there as well.
About manna, You may be right, we really aren’t familiar with this skill, but about other skills, as You may understand, the list is pretty subjective and individual, everybody would have his own list, since this is OUR list, there is no way something could be wrong here for us🙌🏻
@@Strengthist_ I understand but for the maltese skills, like floor and dragon with respect of course it doesnt seem you guys have experience in it. There are some takes in the list which are incorrect. But I respect your opinion and attempt at the end of the day
@@papertowel3472 Okay thanks for critique, now that I read Your first comment the second time, I actually, think that You really may be right😎
@@Strengthist_ Thank you for being very understanding bro!
Me doing a front lever, straddle planche and one arm handstand before foing a clean muscle up 🤔🤔
💀💀💀
Too subjective. Being 177cm and 90kg with a good weight distribution, I find horizontal statics significantly harder. I can do a proper Iron Cross, Hefesto, oap, full rom hspu on bars, but I can't do a full planche or even solid 5 seconds front lever... And I spent 8 years training specifically trying to reach them, compared to the 6months to 1 year for the other mentioned skills
Agreed.
90kg at 177cm is wild for cali bro. 🔥
i am a 15 year old into arm wrestling and i have a backround of calisthenics. I am able to do that victorian skill and when u ranked above the iron cross and maltese i was mindblown! I cant even do a proper advanced tuck planche, i also cant back lever. I trained calisthenics for 6 months only
Specificity.
@@slugdoc1633 troll? 😂
@@LatissimoTwinTurbo no bro 😭 im dead serious man i can even proove it if u dont believe me i didnt even think victorian is that hard
Front lever is easier than one arm pull up
💀 Not for me haha
one arm pullup at easy tier is criminal 😂 I can do an 8s front lever (medium) and I am still very far from the one-arm.
It's crazy how individual all the skills are. For me it's the opposite i can do one arm but im far from a full front lever
@@murresk8 true, i can do a victorian, touch front lever, front lever pull ups, one arm pull ups, but i cant do a back lever
Looks like we’ll need to do a detailed One Arm Pull-up guide haha
there is nooo way in this world that the one arm pull up should be in the easy category, I mean at least medium it's freaking hard bro but i think you guys are so good in pulling skills so you ranked them lower, Anyways good video overall
Callisthenics is something else bro
Front lever is easier than oapu
@@freehatespeech6804 yeah and he ranked the front lever in medium WTF
@ difficulty of fl depends entirely on your proportions, weight, weight distribution and height
@@LatissimoTwinTurbo ofc and with all those factors the both get hard or easy but always the front lever is easier than te one arm pull up
One arm pull up easy is crazy 💀 Its harder than one arm back lever. Also way harder than front lever. More like an easy hard skill.
WhAt AboUT MixGriP SiDEwaYs FroNTlEveR???
Pulled my upper back doing dragon flag
😳
🔥🔥🔥
hopefully we can see more interesting skills in the future to make another list haha
I think it depend on people but your list is true I can do a I sit for the frist time i try but i cant do a handstand even i train it 3 months
yo long time no see paul wearing his glasses again xD
bro i can 5+ kip muscle up, 25+ dips, back lever, kick to handstand for 25 sec. but can not tuck planche or advance.
there's no way bro
More like you don't have any straight arm strength in a leaning position . Try training planche lean holds
I would say, Of course, But I would Advice you to do weighted Dips then, Try them with 20 kg, you should have the strenght and after being able to do 30 kg start handstand pushups or OHP and after building 1BW OHP with little to no cheating for 6 reps try the planche
At least that's what a youtuber named Playground Invader did and achieved the straddle planche right away. As well as my training companions. One Of them weights 67 kg and can do OHP with 60 kg for 5 reps. Attempted a deadman press and did it in one attempt. Must know that he is a Calisthenics athlete as well being able to perform several Freestanding HSPU
By the way Playground Invader didn't do OHP, he did Full rom HSPU facing the wall but it's the same thing
As someone often regarded to have "good genetics" but have actually studied this stuff, I have to say that genetics isn't really as much of a factor as to put it in the "backbone" of calisthenics. Programming, consistency and intensity of training are probably the right ones.
cool video
🔥🔥🔥
i seen a 15 yr old kid doing one arm planches for breakfast 😂
minmyatsan and osama💀 strongest 15-16yo fr
