Linux Trackpad Comparison

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot of support for the Linux community with regard to things like trackpads. This is my attempt to share what I found when comparing some of the trackpads available on Amazon. The versions of Linux I used were: Ubuntu 20.10 and 22.04. These are the trackpads I tried: 1. 1987-11-07 - Art Carpenter's Solo - Jesus Is Tenderly Calling Today
มุมมอง 753 ปีที่แล้ว
Art Carpenter (1910-1989) was my maternal grandfather. He was a soloist for Salvation Army brass bands in the San Diego and Oakland areas in the 1940's and 1950's. By the time this video was recorded in 1987, he was well past his prime, but it's the only video we have of him playing. As far as we know, this was his final public solo.

After Affects of Primer Detonation

Thanks Jeremy i believe this will help me fix my neighbors car it’s a 2000 Avalon with the same code and well he’s an older cat and can’t see or do this on his own so i help him out as much as i can
Thank you for helping him. We're all going to get there someday. I'm sure he appreciates you very much!
Does anyone know if it’s about the same for the V6 Camry?
i can see your problem... you dont follow the instructions as they are given.
You are good bro
Thank you. I'm glad you liked the video.
Thank you for sharing
You're welcome. Thx for the kind words.
Not a fan of this video presentation. I'm a DIYer with an '08 Yaris and today is the third time I've replaced the bulbs. I always replace both at the same time even though only one was out. We all know why, right? I actually lower the bumper and pull the entire head lamp out. There are only 3 screws securing each lamp, 1 pop clip on each side bumper and 5 pop clips attaching it to the main frame. I remove these and the bumper lowers beautifully. I can then remove the head lamp, turn it over, pull the connector off, remove the rubber and attach the new bulb. It took about 5 minutes to replace both bulbs and about the same time to reattach the bumper. This has always worked well for me on all 3 of my vehicles. Not bad for a chick, eh?

Great video! Thanks man!👍

Hi, my Toyota Camry 1999 model won't move while in drive. Could it be the same problem
Oh no, that sounds like a much more serious problem. This problem only manifested with a check engine light.
I missed the part that shows you actually putting it back on.
Just the review I need. Thanks so much.
Glad to help.
I have a 99 Toyota Camry and in heavy stop and go traffic in Baton Rouge this car’s RPM will drop and shut off. It doesn’t do it for any mechanic or anybody else but me in traffic. I changed everything related to air intake and fuel. So now I’m thinking it’s the camshaft. Did your car do this in heavy stop and go traffic?
Hi KellyPope, I don't remember the context of when this happened. I did have to pick up my mother-in-law on the side of the road more than once when she was driving this car, though. I'm no mechanic, but I have a couple of thoughts for you to consider if you haven't already: - Older cars need fuel injector cleaner periodically (annually, give or take) or they'll slow and die, like you're saying. I remember having to replace an injector in another Toyota, but not this one. - It could also be your battery dying or alternator not charging the battery. - Another thought is that these cars have problems with their timing belts. We had to replace this one's timing belt once. If it has been over 100,000 miles since you last had yours changed, it's probably worth checking. - Maybe replace the spark plugs and wires? You said you've replaced everything to do with fuel and air, but you also need a spark to create a flame. I wish I could help more than just throwing out a bunch of things it might be. Perhaps others who see this might know more and be able to help. Good luck finding whatever it is.
Are you getting a code? Even if the check engine light only comes on when it does this, maybe keep a code reader in the car to read that code quickly.
"Straight Up" solution and demonstration...achieving a very useful serrated blade...thanks.
Thank you!
🙏🙏🙏💝🙏👍
You're very kind. Thank you.
Cat os catallic convertor buddy
I put selonoid from ebay but still sai not ready 3 week now
Wow! That's a long time. Can you clear the code and see if it comes back? Usually code readers have a way of allowing you to clear codes.
Maybe you need something like libinput-gestures? Most of the touchpad gestures never worked for me otherwise even on my laptop touchpad. Only ones that's supported are scrolling, zoom, tap, two finger tap, everything else i use libinput-gestures for.
Good to know. I didn't explicitly install that library.
Thank you for sharing a great video clip on how to install an alternator belt!
Thank you for your kind words.
Hi, is it the same up top install on 2001 3 liter camry?
I don't know. I'm sorry. Maybe somebody else does.

All of today’s appliances and fixtures are rated out over 100 psi. So you could take it up to 80 psi. I like a lot of pressure when I take a shower.
I have friends that are the same way. 50 PSI works for us. Even then, I have a valve on my shower head to turn it down. Maybe I'm just too cheap. lol!
Thanks bro 😊
You're welcome!
Why can I not find videos about replacing the tensioner pulley of a 08 Toyota Yaris?
The tensioner is the alternator. It's that big think at the top of the serpentine belt. It's not spring loaded like some tensioners are. You just pull it tight and then tighten the bolt to hold it in place.
Skip forward in this video to 6:45. That shows what worked for me to tension the belt.
Vey helpful !!!
Thank you.
The machete cutting after was fairly impressive. Wish you would have had a before sharpening demo.
I know, right! I wish I had thought to film me cutting with it before I sharpened it.
god
I replaced part and after 40 miles. It came back on. I reset it and see what happens. Has this happen to anyone else
I have not seen this. I hope someone else has.
Sorry, it was the camshaft sensor.
I used this video as a guide to replace my crankshaft sensor. My timing belt broke on my 99 Camry 4 cyl. Replaced timing belt and code P0340 with check engine came on. Repeatedly cleared codes, but code immediately came on instantaneous to clearing. Found crankshaft sensor to be really dirty. Cleaned, re-installed and code doesn’t come up. Hope the car continues without issues. I am unsure if I had this code prior to the timing belt breaking. There was a code but I did not check it. Thank you for posting this video!
That's great to hear! Thank you for sharing. Yah, I hope the car runs for many years to come for you.
My timing belt was good but my power steering belt broke in wrapped it self around my harmonic balancer, and I’m thinking it may have Nicked that sensor since it’s right behind it
Did you try my friend because I have the same issue and they asked me at least $300 to clear the code.
I have to agree with all the positive comments; your lighting and attention to detail is commendable. Your calm demeanor is very welcome particulary in my case; I'm studying your video because despite ample pb overnite saturation the head of the lower bolt sheared off. I'm to the point where removing enough material from starter to isolate bolt or bolt small portion of starter, in order to remove inaccessible portion of lower bolt in tranaxle housing. Ironicall the upper bolt was fairly easy, as was the bottom. By the way I agree with disconnecting both battery terminals. Thanks for the great video video of this freskishly clean rig.
Thank you for the kind words! That lower bolt sounds like a nightmare. I'm sorry you're having to go through that. I hope you get it figured out.
Thanks for your reply, I was surprised to come up empty regarding a same or similar circumstance. I put my hammer-drill with a masonry bit to it, I removed enough material, I thought sufficent. Apparently not the case, I jacked a paver up to it to persuade, decided to leave it for tomorrow Thank you..
@@georgedalton4816 Oh man! That's rough! I hope you figure it out today.

The Perixx 504 is for Windows only. It works very well on Win 10 & 11 from my experience. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't work on any of my Linux, but you can't help bad luck.
I’m slowly becoming a TH-cam mechanic hahaha
LOL! Good for you! I'm no mechanic, but you can save a lot of money working on your cars yourself. However, there are the rare cases where you have to take it into the shop anyway. Over all, though, I save a lot of money.
HI Jeremy my code is P0770 should I replace that solenoid you did?
I'm no mechanic, but it sounds like you should.
🙏💝
This is great. I want to try making one now!
You should. God bless.
Is there a hole for the metal cylindrical part to go into or does it just snug tight?
I couldn't find a hole if there was one. I just snugged it up.
Thanks for sharing this I have had a hell of a time trying to find where this was located I have a delayed shift issue where my transmission isn't timing properly and my rpms will climb and won't shift until I let off the accelerator.
I'm glad it was helpful.
the japanese hate’s mechanics
After changing the alternator it still has a whine. What is causing the whine if not the alternator
It could be any one of the pulleys that are connected to a belt. I'd start by replacing the tensioner. If you're very careful, you can try using one of these too: www.amazon.com/Buorsa-Stethoscope-Automotive-Diagnostic-Motorcycles/dp/B07F18V2X8 Keep it away from any moving parts. You touch it near the pulley you suspect and listen to see if it's the one that's whining. Be very careful to not get it caught in the belt.
you are using the magic touchpad wrong. it has force touch and you have to keep it on a firm surface. also there are drivers for it. driver can turn off tap and use clicks like a mouse. once i got used to it, it was really great to use.
You need to read the instructions or watch the entire video buddy.
hi these are fab, I have been searching for a cross to make from natural materials, ideally the same wood as the original, but seeing yrs I think woulb be a better option. My question is if I cover costs obvs! would you be willing to send to UK I wouldn't necessarily want them strung as I bought some thin leather strings to use, I'm assuming they can be sent as airmail letter? Let me know if this u r willing to do this and how many you can send as cost efficeintly as poss inc. all costs, I will transfer by paypal if youn have it? btw they are going to be donated to a local hospice that provides end of life care, my son works there as a nurse and last year Husband climbed Kilimanjaro Mountain and raised over £10k for them, they have high st donation shops, that it would be a dream to mstock the crosses in, but my initial thought was to gift them to the clients at the hospice, let me know what you think. TIA here's the www of the charity; www.isabelhospice.org.uk/

@@jeremyhood thank you! We used to purchase these via donation from someone and give them to anyone who ask about them. A great way to tell others about Jesus.
@@ChrisDushane Thank you. Yes, it has been a great ministry. I've actually had a leather cutter die made where I can punch 10 of these at a time. Unfortunately, that was a $300+ investment and it's still manual work to tie the string, stain & seal them, etc. However, it's well worth it to me.
You did not remove the old bluing so it’s not going to work right
I tried to, but, the more I sanded it, the worse it looked after re-bluing it.
If you buy the kit it comes with the blue remover an it works amazing
Nice! I'll have to try that next time.
