There is something very hard to explain to woman, is how some man feels shy and ashamed from sexual tension. That is the intention with the "fan service". We perceive these things in woman, that makes our brain go into a confused blank state. Now that Marin knows she likes Gojou she better act fast to get up on that before it's too late. Gojou is a real catch: he's tall, he's handsome, he's kind, he has skills, he has goals and ambitions for the future, he has the work ethic to make those goals come true. His only real weakness is his lack of social skills and as he works on that and comes out of his shell more this dude is going to have a line of girls wrapping around his block looking to hop on that and lock it down.

This episode has the third flashback to Gojou first seeing his grandfather's hina dolls, and I think weve been overlooking something important about that event: why was he that old and only just then seeing his grandpa's place? I'm led to the conclusion that this wasn't just a visit, this was when Gojou moved there; every subsequent flashback is there at the home/workshop - so it must have taken place very soon after he lost his parents (and obviously his grandfather lost his son). So it's in a time of emotional upheaval and loss that Gojou had his sense of beauty and heart captured by the dolls; that innocent "I want to be like you, gramps" would have been even more impactful in that context. And of course it's that lonely little boy that tries to share the beauty he's found with a girl he thought could be a friend, and got completely rejected in exchange. No wonder that all this made such an impact on his psyche.

Rekii is kinda selfish for not letting langa reach his dreams in my opinion. Why should he NOT join the competition because "Rekii hates love-dancer-boy".

I think my favorite part about their relationship after this point, is that both parties are 110% silently aware of their mutual feelings. Marin is happy to just let things play out, and Gojo still has a lot of internal stuff to work out, including his confidence. No amount of internal memory editorializing is going to rationalize that painstaking, breathless eternity where they just stared at each other. Marin *HAD* to know about Gojo's *ahem* extended 'warranty'. It's literally pressing against her the entire time. Gojo's initial terror is that he KNOWS she has to know, because he can obviously also feel it, and when he waits in shock for her to react in disgust or fear or to get herself away from him, she decidedly *doesn't* I'm sure Gojo, even though he's at least partially aware of it, will completely dismiss any chance of it becoming reality. 'Even if she does like me, I'd be no good for her' etc. And Marin, for her part, is happy to just let things play out naturally. She's in no great rush.
