    I’m very new to this whole Warhammer world but when you unlock all of the weapon variants I should be able to select the different weapon Perks for all 3 Tiers? I’m coming across an issue with the Plasma Pistol I’m 1 short from being able to select one of the abilities for the last Tier and I’ve unlocked every weapon variants.

      thats super odd, have you levelled each weapon to max ? (game still has some buggs apologies for the obvious question) make sure each pistol has gold star in the bottom right corner, some times you can level to the next tier and have one not quite levelled to max

      Darktide combat is far more fluid, the parry mechanic is sketchy at best, but i do enjoy both games.

    How do you unlock all mastery points? I have maxed weapon relic but only half the mastery points

      *Update* you can also only get 1 point Per weapon, so you cant fill out the entire tree of skills. you have to unlock and level up (or use Armory data) each mark of the same weapon, so for example there are 9 Chainswords, you have to unlock and level each one to max for the mastery point. BUT if you use armoury data to unlock the mastery point you STILL have to level the weapon family to reach the next tier for example 7500xp to reach Relic

    How do you get all mastery points unlocked? I am at the highest tier and only have half of the perks unlocked. Do you have to keep playing at the highest difficulty to continue to get mastery points?

      you have to unlock every weapon in that family so for example, every Thunder hammer, level each of them up which then gives a mastery point for each one you finish, then you use armoury data to advance to the next tier and then do the same again. you can use Amory data to instantly level a weapon t get the mastery point BUT you will still need to use that weapon in alode of missions to advance to the next tier.

    Man the skill trees are extremely underwhelming, reminds me of darktide at the beginning, hope they add some things to make each class feel more unique, great game just feels like it's sizzling instead of burning the place down

    Personally, I really like the 20% reduced ranged damage for the whole team. In Ruthless, the range damage is so overturned.

    I wish there was a way to increase weapon XP gains, since weapon lvl makes a greater difference than character lvl (ime). Some sort of multiplier or maybe skill node or something. Getting the first 3 weapons to Relic, no problem. But doing that over and over just doesn't sound like something that'll keep me in the game, and who wants to go back down to the first two difficulties just to try new weapons AND get less XP. Hopefully people made friends who will help them through higher diff stuff. I think I would get about 2k weapon xp on lvl 4 operations, and even getting that much still makes you need to play a lot to move up from green to purp or purp to gold. I could be different as I'm not a fan of repetition, though.

      im only just getting in to difficulty 4, but at 3 it only took 2/3 missions to level each weapon, i do think they will need to have a long hard think about operations as at the moment they are quite rudimentary, but if they actually listen to player feed back i think they could be awesome

    "Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game." - Soren Johnson, Civilization IV designer “One of the responsibilities of designers is to protect the player from themselves.” I am reminded of playing the Neverwinter MMORPG over a decade ago which was very fun but also rough around the edges, where there was dedicated LFG groups to playing the Dungeons legitimately rather than the assumption that everyone would cheese it.

    This game surely is a looker. Personally dont really like how the guns sound, it lacks that umpf sound like the ones Darktide has for their bolters imho. Snake dude was Thulsa doom, man i loved that movie.

      I'm really enjoying the pve operations, it's a nice change from darktide. I'd say darktides combat I'd buttery smooth and the controls are better, but it's slightly unfair of me to compared as they're different games, my only real gripe is the controls, they feel super console focused and a bit clunky on pc, I've had to completely remap them.

    This whole system is grindy beyond any reason. To unlock all 9 possible mastery points for a specific weapon class to gain all the perks, you need to gain 17k EXP for said weapon class, level up EVERY individual variation of said weapon class (or spend those green/purple/relic tokens to unlock masteries), on top having to level up a bunch of other classes which would be fine, but in reality the biggest power spike for your marine are weapon tier upgrades, they increase the damage that you do immensely, so whenever you would want to level up a new weapon, you'd have to go to lower difficulties (first two), because enemies in 3-4th difficulties are absolute sponges and there's a bunch of them, which means grinding low diff missions again for less EXP, and do that again for any other new weapon on repeat. What a terrible terrible system. Also why do we need to pay up with gold coins for unlocking class skills, weapons, bits and pieces and paint of our armour, everything costs you those coins, looks like an artificially made up time sink just so you'd replay those 6 operations even more. I don't mind investing my time in a game, but it's not enough to level stuff up you'll have to then acquire it also, this is such a poorly designed system.

      @@BroadsideGamingTV While I doubt it will change, for now I'm just enjoying my time with the game regardless, I have failed to mention that the game overall is great and has a depth to it's combat, it's just that being a long time Vermintide vet, I wanted to jump straight into the hardest difficulties and I met a brick wall that was a bit too much, but that's on me.

      I couldn't agree more my friend! I'm also deal with multiple load screens because of connection issues or people leaving matches so having to leave because of how the matching works. Also the parry system and dodging isn't effective at all when there's 20-50 enemies on screen. The whole game is just frustrating and confusing. If GOW and Elden Ring are AAA Titles, this isn't in that category and doesn't deserve all of the praise it's getting... Imo

      I'll be 100% honest. There are Bugs, lots of them, but It is a really fun game. The operations are awesome, and the storyline was pretty cool. Can't speak for the pvp as I've not tried it, but so far, it's been well worth it for me and Ug. I ask my self have I had £70 worth of fun from this game, and the answer is you're god damn right I have

    The mastery tier for the weapon line is separate from the weapon subclass. The weapon subclass line is so you can get perks for the whole weapon. You can grind that out OR use armoury points to quick level it.

      From what i can find is you need Armory Data that's hidden in the level. levels one and two give Green four gives Purple (artificer) and 5 gives Yellow (relic)

    From my understanding. There is still RNG with what modifier bars look like when fully upgraded to 380 - but given the 80% modifier bar cap… … It means the variance will be limited from exactly 76% in all five modifier bar to 80% maxed in four bars and 60% in the dump stat bar. Most weapons will obviously fall between these extremes. I can certainly envisage a certain type of player insisting they always want to use 4 maxed and 60% in the dump stat of their choice (probably mobility) despite it being no practical difference to an "almost perfect" one. So yes, still RNG but you don't need to roll both the high base rating AND for the 5 modifiers bars to be in the right distribution. A high base rating will be a head start but less needed. So far more weapons you see in the armoury/Melk shop/Emperor's gift will have good distribution and we don't need to care as much about the perks and blessings already on them with the locks gone. Before you need to spam Brunt. There is a question of how much it'll cost to be fully upgraded Which I think is 500 power = 380 base rating and the full 100 modification points. One can stare at exactly 00:47 at the trailer for a hint: which costs 6000 dockets, 175 plasteel and 180 diamantine to go from 420 Power to 430 Power… and this is the same amount for a similar image in the Dev Blog going from 490 to 500. So I think adding 100 power to a weapon will cost 60,000 dockets, 1750 Plasteel and 1800 diamantine. I am also a little unsure about how well some players will take to being limited to what perks can be selected by their Progression along the Mastery track. Likewise the maximum power you can upgrade a weapon to (and so the modification points) are based on the Mastery. Although Strawhat has confirmed that a maxed out weapon (500 power?) will be able to be fully upgraded to 380 base rating and have two tier 4 blessings and two tier 4 perks.

    I know you said a few times in this video to hold on to Melk money and Plasteel/Diamantine until crafting update. But also to bank Blessings on preferred weapons to auto achieve mastery in these weapons at update specifically level 3 and 4 since fatshark floated having all 3 and 4 level blessings might achieve mastery (or possibly 70-80% of blessings across all tiers). I feel the two best ways to get level 3 or 4 blessings (aside from emperor rewards which has more rng as the weapons are random) is through consecrating existing weapons or ones bought through Brunt, or purchasing Melk items which have the best chance of level 3 and 4 blessings on weapons. Of course you know this involves spending Melk money and/or plasteel/diamantine. Trying to find the balance between spending/grinding resources, and saving resources for post update grinds. I would very much like to play on day one of update for a change instead of grinding like I have the past two years. Any ideas? ( I do have a lot of resources, just not sure what a safe bank should be) Thx!

      We don't know the answer for certain at this point. I think "Spend dockets to buy blues with blessings you don't have from hourly shop... BUT hold onto Plasteel, Diamantine and Melk Bucks" is probably a good rule of thumb. The aforementioned advice about collecting Blessings before the update so it's converted to Mastery might be good advice but this also does sound a bit like "Grind now to skip the grind of playing the game after it's been improved" But note you can also do this after the update because you can feed any weapon to Hadron to advance a Mastery XP track. (My assumption is that weapons with blessings to add to your blessing bank before the update will be worth more but I don't have any evidence of this.)

      @@thomasparker6124 Thanks for the insight, I know even Fatshark didn't confirm the exact requirements for mastery but regarding farming blessings the hourly shop will only provide for level 1 or 2 blessings and not 3 and 4 which is what fatshark suggested might be weighted more and honestly the ones I would want on an end game weapon as well. I could use it to farm those lower level blessings in any event which could help with progression, so there's that. I'm also trying to weigh the "value" of farming blessings through Hadron pre update vs. post, it sounds like the best advice is to turn them in before the update which I will probably do.

    toxic assholes like hay the plasma, revolver and knife are op they need nerfs are responsable for the toxic meta the game currently is in once they get those nerfed they will move on to the next thing call it op and get that nerfed. that bundle of sticks needs to go touch grass and do something else then come back when they are rusty.

      yeah Brunts is just 99% disappointment, im sick of spending millions to try and find one usable weapon.

      I think FS never expected players to use Brunt's to brute force getting a high base rating. My impression was the reason Brunt was added was to ensure that players could always have access to a basic version of a weapon type they'd unlocked by leveling up. Because in the first 3 months after launch it was perfectly possible for a player to never see an iconic weapon of their class when it was just the hourly armoury shop, Melk (when the missions were super grindy) or the Emperor's Gift drop that wasn't even guaranteed after every completed mission. So in that way it was a massive improvement (which isn't saying much).

      @@thomasparker6124 yeah well the itemization is still going to be trash after the update. stats like ammo, stopping power, collateral and damage only exist is because the adeptus mechanicus is actually inept and should be turned into servitors or mad into disposable grunts aka give us another class. Ammo because no civilization with mass production like the imperium of man would have random capacity magazines. collateral/stopping power/damage because the ammo and barrels should be up to spec/standard. mobility/defense because they should all be the same shape, size and material and any differences should so minute it won't mater and should be a class only thing.

    Great video, i am going to try this, mained ogryn for so long, used one of your recent zealot builds to get me through the aurics. When i go back to my vet, i will be trying this one out, havent used him since they added the skill tree's.

    I always run cooldown reduction on my curios. Being able to use VOC more often is a lot more useful to me than gunner resist or toughness regen.

      Curios can be speced out anyway you like but in my opinion and from a few thousand hours of playing/making content, Gunner resist is almost compulsory in Auric Damnation these days, even with VoC up a single gunner can strip your toughness off with in a second. Plus the talent Tactical awareness grants you 6 seconds reduced cool down for every special killed, and if you're doing your job right you're main focus is specials and elites you're cooldown of VoC should be around 15/20 seconds, where as having it on all three curios only grants you 12% which is 3.6 seconds, so you're cooldown is now 24.4 but you're now taking 100% damage from gunner/shotgunners and reapers.

      ​@@BroadsideGamingTV Diminishing returns on gunner resistance? Have you tested no gunner resistance vs having all 3 curios on in the psykhanium? (edit: does it not also give even worse diminishing returns because of iron will? so it should be extra not-necessary on vet maybe on zealot or psyker gunner resist is more worth it)

I used this previous build as Psyker to finish the Auric Storm Survivor penance and it has been my main build for well over a year now, but I feel like it is slightly underpowered in its current form.     One thing to mention about switching to the Feel No Pain Tree; it can save some runs if you’ve been pinned by a Pox-Hound & you’re the Last (Big) Man Standing with it’s stagger on stack depletion. Always feels good to hear the clutch music playing as you power through the map & you notice the ‘Game Manager’ has stopped spawning things. Kinda like you’ve cheated a failed mission.

    Superb result, I thought you would struggle with the two models pre mounted and pre crewed, but I think now, I would give that a go.

      Thanks! Yeah it was a bit of a squeeze but if you accept that no one's gonna be looking down the sides you can sort of wing it a bit :) but as they have lugs on the feet you could always just let the lugs hold them on the base and sort the sand let it all dry then take them off and paint them.
