In this video I show how to assemble 3D printed long reach pliers V4. The pliers are designed by me and a remix of a model that I posted. The earlier model required an M3 bolt and nut, this one has a "twist and lock" design For download see: www.printables.com/model/1046055-long-reach-pliers-no-hardware-required

Garden with slide deck to hide trampoline
มุมมอง 190ปีที่แล้ว
I built a sliding deck to maximize space in the garden. We wanted to sit in the far end of the garden (because the evening sun can be enjoyed longest there) and also not have the trampoline in front of the house. A sliding deck was my solution. I designed the deck in Autodesk Inventor. An built it out of a frame with 150x40mm Douglas beams.

I had a Austin A35 travelled all over the nth island of NewZealand
un plug it???
I feel like he was forced to do that lol
IMPORTANT: ONLY USE ON NON LETHAL ELECTRONICS TO PREVENT SHORTS. NOT MEANT TO INSULATE YOUR PERSON FROM ELECTRICAL SHOCK. The transformer in the scene was powered off and capacitors drained.
looks good around low voltage stuff, i wouldnt use it on anything to high tho since it isnt rated for anything
Hey man, great design ! I would like to see it in action though. Think you could upload a video of it in use ? Cheers :)
Check my latest video
A lovely video 👍 but missing the winner of the rally competition was………………?
I don't really know, It will be in the club magazine! They are all winners in my book
At least my dad got to watch the video as he wouldn't be able to travel there all thanks to you Huib
Great video. I didn't realise the rally was taking place, or I would have been there. I'm a big fan of the A30/35 and live near Chesterfield, so it would have been ideal. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Great video Huib! Wish I could have been there, but watching your video is a good next best thing. What's with all the upside down Union jacks though?
Haha, I don’t know! we did not bring one. Would be nice to see you again, maybe some other time
Always good to the dear A30"s driving around, cheers Daniel Friesland
Great video Huib, also check out Ironbridge for next year
Thank you! See you next time!
Huib, Next year you need to see the Staffordshire moorlands, Buxton, Leek & places around there, look those up on google
Do you have the files for this??
I have an Austin A30 four door which seem to be rare whenever i see films of a shows there are generally only two or three examples, i know the two door was more popular at the time and three times as many of these were sold. I have had mine for eight years and it has had a complete mechanical restoration, the interior is original and last bodywork in 1991, I love it and is always much admired.
Great little cars and I like the lefthand drive! CHEERS from CANADA!
Thanks 👍
WD40 😂👍🏻
;-)
Kinda knackered indeed, lol. That is an expression we don’t hear much these days.
I guess I am influenced by the TH-cam video's I watch. I have been watching a lot of Fred Dibnah lately :D
Fred Dibnah was one of a kind. His language not offensive, just basic. He said things as he saw them in my opinion. A really great guy and very courageous. Would you climb the chimneys he climbed. I know I wouldn’t, lol. In addition, I enjoyed your video although I will try to adapt it to suit moulding 1:76 scale flexible tank tracks.
@@kevinhale9400 ohh noo, I would not climb those!! that looks very dangerous! But he also had a very cool series about the Victorian age! Would you say my language was offensive? I might be able to mute that word. Good luck with your tank threads!
Wonderful Huib, it was great seeing my wonderful Dutch friends
Mooi!
Why not 3d printing the mold directly?
hoppend 0 seconds ago I choose not to, because the parts are easier to sand this way, it would have been very hard to get rid of the 3D printer’s buildlines
👍👌
I absolutely love these little cars.
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the video!
Nice work 👌👌

Really enjoy these videos of British cars. My question is off subject. I am a big fan of Father Brown tv mysteries. There is red convertble driven by a young lady. And the brand of car, I WANT KNOW who made that car. When I was young man my dream car was an Austin Healey 3000, straight 6 cylinder, 4 speed manual. British racing grees and tan interior. I still would love to own one from tha period. But prices are really high. Back about 30 years ago I remember reading about Austin Healey two seater sports car with a V8....Was that real?
The car in farther brown is a sunbeam Talbot sunbeam became part of the rootes group doubt that a v8 is right but I am not a healey expert
Got a " kick" out the " rod". Really nice result. Hope " no " straight pipes. Just enjoy the wind and the ride.
My second car at the age of 18 was an A35 1958 (Reg 3608 NO) unfortunately it didn't serve to time. Bob
An excellent event, and a very nice presentation of the Austin A30/A35 show. Cheers Bob
Why do you need the silicon mold? why not just 3d print the mold directly by inverting the 3d model?
This allows me to sand the initial model more easily. A 3D print produces lines, and it is necessary to sand if you want to get rid of those.
Love it❤
It’s beautiful. Awesome work!
The Hobbs Automatic was completed on the friday morning, only hours before we left for the show! The 70 miles journey to and from Beverley was not without it's problems due to having no time for shakedown trials, though the unique Hobbs gearbox performed faultlessly... It's over forty years since it was last on the road...
Great video Huib. Thankyou :-)
Thank you David! Hope you are well!
Great video Huib, hope you all had a great time, it was great seeing you all again
@21.05 (PFG 59) is an early accident damaged A30 which was fitted with a factory replacement modified A35 shell to fit A30 running gear, there are very few known to the club
Hi Huib, the blade was made by Dowty
Thank you for the background info Nick!!
@@hoppend They also did them for the Mini but the blades were angled the other way due to the different air flow for front wheel drive
Simple and probably fairly effective if dialed in.
Yes! I think so too.
Hi Huib, i remember those Selmar alarms, more trouble than they were worth lol, i think i still have a Colortune somewhere, see you next weekend 👍
Awesome work
Thanks!!
How did you get the two halves of the mould to separate at 2:20? Was that by cutting with the scalpel?
Yes, i cut it open with the scalpel 😀
Thanks
Good job🙏🏼❤🕊✨👍
I'd like to be born in this era just for the cars. Really beautiful cars
Thanks for a great video. I am a member of the UK A30 A35 Owners Club, however as I am from Australia I will never be able to go to any of these rallies. The large number of A30 and A35s and the huge amount of spares is mind boggling. Regards. Lou. A30 restorer.
Wow, all the way from Australia! We did have a person that made the trip to the rally one year. If memory serves, he actually won the Travel distance award, even though he did not bring his car. The rallies were at their peak in the 80’s with over 200 cars showing up. Good to hear that my video’s are even enjoyed on the other side of the world!
That was very interesting indeed to watch. Well done
Thanks Mark!
That was excellent ! I 'found' you by chance - you popped up in my recommended box, and now I'm subscribed ! What a great line up of Austin A30 - A35s - such happy looking cars. Glad you had a good trip, and thanks for showing us the highlights of your stay here in England. Take care, and I look forward to future postings 🙂
Thanks so much! Good that I popped up on your recommendations. I enjoy making the video’s and it is always nice to hear that they are enjoyed by others. I don’t make a lot of video’s but I am planning on some interesting ones! thanks for your subscription!
