Rec 2020 and st2084 1000 nit is actually correct. I don't know what you're doing wrong. I always recommend using a calibrated HDR screen that is also able to cover the color space and brightness in the best possible way.

I personally don't like it when a camera decides for itself. I only choose a higher iso if the lighting conditions are poor. In my opinion, this is particularly important with a GoPro.

@@davidsilberhorn I’ve set my max at 800 and it’s been perfect for every scenario besides night shooting… which is terrible no matter what settings you have with this camera.

TH-cam does not support resolutions like 5.3K or 6K because the official resolutions are 4K or 8K. TH-cam would only recognize the 5.3K video as 4K and the video would get the vp09 codec and not the av01. If you want to play the video directly then you can export the video in 5.3K.

Thanks, but I didn't use a GoPro. I used my bmpcc6k with the dji ronin s and gyroflow this time. GoPro is very good but not as good as a cinema camera.

Ich habe auf einem anderen Kanal von mir Short entdeckt und glaub mir die laufen ehrlich gut und ja ich mag selbst keine Short :) Probiere es aus. Du musst ja nur deine aktuellen Videos VER shorten :) ich finde die klasse ehrlich.

Die Aufgabe war es zu dem Begriff: (k)ein Geheimnis ein 5 Minuten langes Video ohne Ton zu erstellen! Ich bin übrigens sowohl Kameramann, als auch Wanderer für dieses Video gewesen, was das Video extra schwierig gemacht hat.

Hello, thank you very much! There are very good mirrorless cameras from every manufacturer these days. If you don't have a single lens yet, then you are still free to choose your camera. Personally, I would go for one of the Canon EOS R series or one of the Nikon Z series. Or you could buy a cinema camera, such as the Bmpcc4K or 6K. It's difficult to give you a clear answer if I don't know how much you want to spend.

The problem in my opinion is that the shots from a DJI drone “break apart” extremely quickly if you use the same color grading as with a cinema camera. This doesn't mean that the shots from the DJI drone look bad, but you have to color grade very carefully compared to a high-quality camera. Especially the way cameras handle sharpness differently makes the adjustment more difficult. I would recommend you to buy a cinema camera because the mirrorless hybrid cameras are much better suited for photography and usually less suitable for filming. In addition, in my opinion it doesn't necessarily have to be a full-frame camera, as this makes it easier to avoid the so-called rolling shutter effect. This is also the reason why a full-frame sensor is almost never built into cinema cameras. But I can also understand that a full-frame sensor has other great advantages! ...

Thank you, I used the GoPro for the POV shots as the camera has an extreme wide angle and I wanted to show that the hiker was exhausted and injured. For the other shots I used the Bmpcc6k and the Ronin S. It should also be mentioned that I played the hiker and took over the camera work at the same time! This came about because I hardly know anyone who wants to be in front of the camera. It took my friend and I about 4 days in total and I hope that I will be accepted at the HFF in Munich (see video description). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

If you have an extremely good computer, you can edit your shots directly on an 8K timeline. I usually work with a 720p timeline for editing and a 4K or 8K timeline for color grading. So I only use the minimum necessary performance. I honestly don't know what kind of PC you need to be able to play 8K directly in the timeline.

If you buy cheap, you buy twice. By the way, I would always use a gimbal for good stabilization, unless it's a GoPro.

It is rather the individual factors that are decisive for this question, such as 10 bit color depth. With sufficient light and special processing, the GoPro is a very good choice for creating HDR videos.

I don't use the HDR mode because it's not real HDR. Technically, this mode is just SDR with a slightly higher dynamic range! I use real HDR10 instead. To your question: yes, it is possible.
