So beautiful
Queen! 👌😌👑
HE’S A MENACE TO OUR HEARTS AND AMITA LOL 😂
Whenever he threatens your heart remember that he prefers Lord of the Rings to SoC 😝😂
It is unbelievably sad Dandelion is the only reason I would even CONSIDER continuing The Witcher. He and the games are my only source of hope
Jaskier is better (Dandelion was too misogynistic, though the name was better). Personally, I love show Yennefer, Ciri and the women banding together - wish those were in the books too...
Freddy: Yeah, you cheated, remember? Amita: *INDIGNANTLY* I DID NOT!! Lol 😂
Freddy is so evious of Amita, I swear 😂
He said arsenal 😂😅
Sorry not sorry for the confusion 😂
@aranystudio it ok I loved this show
That fire spell from the end of Season 1 was just unreal.
My favorite part 😏🔥🔥🔥
Surprised the scene with the jinn where Gerald ask her “what do you want?” And she epically yells “I want everything!” Isn’t here
OMG you're right! I totally should have included it! 😏
That firestorm was just unreal
Gosh I loved that 😂🔥🔥🔥
The shoes, capes, and long oversized sleeves❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
And giant wings 🤩🤩🤩
she is not even the top 5 mage in novel, hardly made into top10, but the tv series made her the most powerful one. tv series nerf the other wizards badly
Nos livros ela é muito forte sim, é uma das mais fortes
Were the top 5 mages in the novel men? Because if yes 😝
That is not yennefer💀
I love her 🔥
See, he doesnt do any of this in the books but they are such jesper things to say/do
Gotta love some Jesper self love 😌🥰
is she avatar from fire nation?
Queen is whoever she wants to be 👌😌
Oh you left out the time when he said Geralt: Your right... Jaskier:I am right?.....well that is deeply worring.
OMG! You're right, I totally forgot that one! 🤣🤣🤣
@@aranystudio 😅😅 all good my friend. Fire edit tho
ten cały szajs to jakaś pomyłka :D
At least it's better crap than the books 😆🤷♀️
Love the actress like her work but the writing after season one is hot garbage...
Hotter garbage than the books? 😒😂 I, for one, liked the series better - at least they improved on the misogyny, queerphobia & racism
Which series? I tried with Witcher but couldn't find
🤷♀️ it's from Witcher
In the series, Yenn is weak. In the books, she's a badass!
For example?
She cast a spell with her foot. Her magic level was greater than all the sorceresses shown here. She did not exchange the flower for power. She has always had it. This Yen is very much a caricature of the original.
@@NeefreeAnnthis
The girl who everyone look down and call her pig are very cleaver 😂 look this
I understand that woke culture is at its highest rn and they might as well have changed the name of the show to "The Witch (C) with a side of Geralt" HOWEVER Yennefer in the books is a badass in her own right, why did they have to twist the plot so much and invent entire new plot lines to show her qualities that are already there in the books! I cannot wrap my head around that.
Woke is good! I only read the first three books of the Witcher and Yennefer was patronised and discriminated for being a woman and for being polyamorous in a mononormative world (by Geralt and Istred among others). Geralt also promisses to never save a girl from rp again because the girl who had just escaped rp throws up instead of batting her lashes at him? WTF? There are so many problematic things about the books I can't begin to list them all. Some of Ciri's badass scenes were actually Geralt's in the book. That's boring and disappointing, the men doing 95% of the badass work and the women being there only to support and want men in bed. I'll give Yennefer that she had ATTITUDE in the books, which was a delight, but are there more badass scenes beyond book 3? Because there were far too few in the first three books and I'm glad the showrunners saw beyond the misogyny of the books.
@@aranystudio First of all, you managed to cram one comment with every "woke" keyword a vocabulary has to offer. You are not writing a CV, that's gonna be proofed by an AI to qualify, so relax. Secondly, let me adress what you wrote about step by step. Also, I will ignore the possible differences in the translation of the books ( I read it in Polish and I don't know which words were used to describe what happened in English). 1. Geralt-Yennefer-Istred. No discrimination, no patronising. Not from Geralt and Istred anyway. You are using words where they don't belong. The sorceresses in the books were promiscoues and some of them would sleep with women. Some people would judge such promiscuousness, some wouldn't care. Because people had different views, you know? Like people do sometimes. Geralt and Istred were in love with Yennefer and didn't want to share her with anyone else. Yennefer too would get angry every time she heard about any of the witcher's other love affairs. They are even in that regard. Geralt and Istred had every right to demand monogamy from Yennefer and she had every right to deny them both anything. What happened - happened. She made her choice. 2. Have you ever been depressed? Maybe questioning your life's choices? Your principles, your views and your place and role in this world? If so, then Geralt's crysis, during which he was recalling the rescue of the rped girl, shouldn't be such a shock to you. He never said "i should never help another rped girl ever again", he said something along the lines of "I am not getting involved into any of society's shit ever again". The case with the girl was the very first of many many many more situations he kept getting involved in. 3. The book is called "the Witcher" for gods sake. Not "Ciri", not "The Sourceress". He is a 70+ year old mutant, the strongest of his kind and Ciri is a 13 to 16 year old girl, who barely controls her magic. Who do you think would pull off more badass stuff? She is given as many killing scenes as a 16yo would, I suppose. Also Ciri is made out to be the center of Geralt's story anyway, so I don't really understand your point on this. Yennefer? She is described as very powerful and independent and has enough badass scenes in the books for someone, whom the books ARE NOT ABOUT. You say "they saw beyond the misogyny of the books", I say "you are promoting misondry, justifying it with lack of good female stories". This is a very communist thing to do, mind you: "let's take down the ones who have more, because we don't want to do more ourselves". Just get off your ass (not you specifically, but ppl who work in this field or are not happy with it) and create new compelling stories. Stop using "male driven stories" (Geralt's in this case) as a trampoline for female characters. Well written characters can stand on their own they don't have to feed off the success of the others. And before you start accusing me of probably being a white male, I should warn you - yes, I am. I am also gay and I LOVE a good badass female character. I just don't buy into hypocracy of "let's lift a woman, but we can only do it by downputting a man".
@@RTGames21Yes, it is called the "Witcher", but it's also a saga with hundreds of characters being adapted as one of the few fantasy series with more than two seasons in today's streaming offer, so more than a white het male centric story is in order and they can only profit after such amounts of money is being spent on the show if it appeals to everyone, not just white men. And it's not that female-centric, queer fantasy doesn't exist, it's that a world biased towards white het men will favor financing many seasons of fantasy stories biased towards white het men. The Witcher books have been written in the 90's - they reflect the views of the author as a male product of that problematic time and improving on some of them is the least they could do. Also I don't see how Geralt was downputted when he had plenty of badass scenes. About the depression I don't know, I haven't gotten to that part in the books, it was a struggle to read through the first three as it is. Come to think about it I only bought the books because I was impressed by show Yennefer and her added badass scenes. Imagine my disappointment at the absence of those scenes in the books and I honestly wish I hadn't bought them at all. I feel I was duped to spend my money on stuff that I don't enjoy tbh. As a gay man how do you feel about Jaskier being bi in the show as opposed to the books? Out of curiosity - do you know Shadow and Bone or the Six of Crows books? I'd be curious of your opinion of them if yes.
@@criss9607 as much as I enjoyed seeing the Jaskier actor making out with Radowid (who is a different kind of weird, I can't quite put my finger on it,but he rubs me the wrong way), I can only see complications and plotholes stemming from that one plot line. Shadow and Bone I watched on Netflix, it was good. Not great, mind you, but just good. When the last season had ended, I wanted to know what happened next, so I downloaded the books, but couldn't get past the first one (half of it tbh). As an eastern european I felt super duper weird trying to comprehend and accept some of the word/name choices. Words that have their specific meaning in russian, used as titles, job descriptions, even entity names- "Grisha" for fcks sake. The words were in the TV show as well, but seeing them weirded me out. Also the style of writing was a bit different than what I was used to, so I quit. As for the plot/premise/gender roles in them/whatever - Alina was fine. Lacked in the badassery department a bit, for my taste, but one could explain it with her background, -ish. She was a tad too delicate in the show for an orphan. ,Her tracker whatever his name was, was a bit annoying: this loyal, brought up on the streets archetype, a romantic pseudo thug, if you like. There was nothing to him in the show that sparked anything in me. The crows were sort of cool. I don't think I can say anything more.
Agreed that the Jaskier- Radovid thryst had to be ill-fated to match with the books or whatever, so feels a bit off in terms of representation. As for Shadow and Bone, you have gay depression representation with Wylan, but it's more obvious in the Six of Crows books than it is in the show. The SoC duology has a different feel to it than SaB and many people find it much better, in case you want to give it a go. I also like that the Grishaverse proves that there's room for badass women, male depression, queer people, white badass men and so on and so forth... maybe that's why it got cancelled - it's empowering rather than divisive, doesn't align with the interest of the ruling class. Also there's a drepressed bi man in Iron Widow books (+ badass women & polyam rep) if that interests you. Also An Ember in the Ashes quartet has some depressed men, including a gay one (but the gay is secondary). Sorry about the rec spam 😆
Nope, not Yennefer, just a "cheap f neck of "

Book Kaz and Show Kaz are different and so are book Inej and show Inej. Book Inej would never fall for Tolya, she’d only ever want Kaz. I don’t even think Book Kaz would feel threatened by Tolya either, his confidence and cockiness is something else.
The edit is a pamphlet, ofc. I also believe that if Kaz wasn't jelous of people who get to be phisically close to Inej, he wouldn't feel threatened by Tolya. As for book Inej only wanting Kaz, though I agree that she seems written that way (provided Kaz rises up to her expectations), I think that it's mononormative to think that she could never fall for Tolya, because of Kaz. In a society that didn't raise people to believe that being with solely one person is the only posdible form of relationship, Inej could be with more than one person. Not to mention that even if she were in a monogamous relationship with Kaz, she could still fall for other people, but choose to not act on her feelings. That's how things are, tbh, for a lot of monogamous people.
I just miss her

Wait, six of crows is part of the shadow and bone series??? I thought Katz was the darkling when I watched it (I never finished because I was so confused)
Never finished what? Shadow and Bone was the name of the first trilogy in the Grishaverse, then came the Six of Crows duology. The show combined these two.
@@aranystudio I never finished the show because I watched it before I read six of crows and had no idea who the new characters were, so I thought the show just made them all up and I don’t like when the adaptations make their own random unnecessary stuff. So I thought it was just a bad show and didn’t finish it.
@@BookloversPQB4 But you've heard of Six of Crows from somewhere else? It's a really good duology (my top 1 book of all time actually), so I'd definitely encourage reading it and then finishing the show. 🥰🥰

The Witcher
This is just a dumb fan fiction of her. Having the audacity to suggest she'd fight with swords likes some mob grunt is bizarrely idiotic
You mean the show? She fought once with swords or smth? I'm only at book three, but I liked that she had more power scenes in the show.
@@aranystudio She did in the show, multiple times which is completely out of her character. These "power scenes" are just fan service, Yennefer is a very powerful enchantress but she is in no way some super magician in the books. Also, Anya Charlotta was a pathetic cast, simply because she had no chemistry with Freya Allen as a mother-daughter dynamic Not to mention, they made her beseech Geralt for affection. In truth, Yen would never deign to act like some teenage girl around Geralt, she'd just never do that. It's Geralt that constnatly fucks up their relationship with his self-conflictions
@@subutaynoyan5372 I don't know all the books, but one thing I noticed in the first three was that they were very misogynistic, so why wouldn't Yennefer be a powerful magician? Are there none in the books? As for seeking out Geralt for affection and forgiveness and all that bull, I disliked that too, you are right. Personally, I loved Anya Chalotra and chemistry is a two way street, so I'd still choose her as Yennefer, but I don't know how the mother-daughter chemistry is in the books. I interpreted it as being part of her character to be a harsher mother and I felt that making her arc about wanting to be a mother above all else was narrow minded of Sapowski. I feel it's that male desire to "tame" powerful women.
@@criss9607 Misogynistic? It's one of the most feministic things written in mainstreamish literature. Sapkowski isn't American or Western European, so he'll not try to check some marks to not be misogynistic in your eyes. Yennefer is super dominant, an unyielding, intelligent character in the books. She has a very superior demeanor particularly to Geralt, Geralt is the one who's going all dumb and coy to get along with her, because usually, Geralt is a socially impaired dumbass who can't choose right words and react things in meaningful proportion. Yennefer's desire to be a mother before all else is something the show focused on too much, when Geralt meets her in the book, her main idea is to tame a djin, curing her womb is just something she wants, because the main theme in the books about both Yen's, and Geralt's existential crisis is that they are bereft of a chance to pass their legacy into something that will surpass them. It's not just "IMMA MOTHER" thing, Yen's basically the same Yen after Ciri too, you're just identifying "strong woman" with neoliberal ideas about being alone, doing everything on her own etc. And Yen's not harsh, she's just disciplined. Being a witch or witcher in the books is a terrifyingly tough thing. Geralt's training is extreme in the book, Triss was aghast when she found Ciri's whole body black and bruised by perpetual beatings, falls and inuries
Yennefer is so powerful!
She's amazing 😈
