About stand-up comedy. Seriously.
Louis CK childhood stories vol. 5, comedy, Greatful Dead and cottage cheese
Like what I do? Leave a tip on PayPal (channel is demonatized): rb.gy/y0ho98
Louie talks about more things that happened to him in his childhood. This time we will hear about the very first time Louie really killed on stage (in school theater production), when he understood that he's not a good person (on halloween) and how he drop some acid on Greatful Dead concert as a 13-year old. As a bonus we will hear the story about cotage cheese and dog once again - this time from Howard Stern Show. This is the last part of childhood stories as far as I'm concerned.
Louis CK: In His Own Words is a series of compilations of clips and excerpts from various interviews, radio and podcasts appearances and Q&A sessions of comedian/writer/director Louis CK ranging from 2002 to 2017. A wide range of topics is covered: from stand-up comedy, TV series, movies, real-life events, personal and career stories, relationships, and much more. The sole purpose of this series is to document and present often hard to find materials to fans worldwide for its entertainment and educational values. Please enjoy and feel free to suggest more topics to cover in the future. Cheers!

Doug seems like a cool guy, but he's not very funny ngl
I did laugh about the rose petals, but American Beauty was still a great movie
The interview with Terry Gross is so much more informative (and moving) than listening to Howard Stern talk over Louie. RIP Patrice.
Love doug. My favorite
Louis CK is awesome. This video presentation wasn’t. Same story repeated over and over.
Hi Alex Jones
Omg, this went of the rails!!! xDD
Watching someone you love destroy themselves is the most powerless feeling
The way Doug nailed that part you would have thought he was a seasoned professional actor.
For sure! But to be fair, he was kinda just playing himself lol
This scene was very powerful.... and a few years later it happened to me. I girl I know called me crying, telling me goodbye, because she was going to kill herself. I didnt beleive her because she had said it so many times. I talked to her, listened to her, made her laugh and made her promise me should would call me in the morning... and this time that phone call never came. She did it.
Douglas H. Thompson is the man !!! 🤘
Also FOB was for Asians, which meant fresh off boat. I was told this by an Asian.
Patrice definitely on that mount Rushmore along with my boy Norm
I REALLY LIKE THE REALTIONSHIP THERE GUYS HAVE😂
P was taken out!
can’t believe these don’t have more views every time I come back to it
No one can make me laugh like Doug.
Yes he represented an idea, a place and a culture in a certain time, I bought his tape, I listened to it a bunch, but I never liked this guy- I love stand-up, but this felt like one more brick in the Idiocracy wall.
Great stuff, it’s so fantastic hearing him tell a story, it was easy just listening to all three versions straight through.
What a cool story
Doug is a talent. I think he is scared to realize his full potential, but it would be really cool to see him push it.
Best bit in the whole series
The F you Letterman was pretty high up there too, I think.
The last bit about the news is SO spot on. Its why crystal white Republicans down south that have LITERALLY NO INTERACTION WITH LIBERALS somehow think everyone is soft or overly sensitive. Its just not true. It's ONE extreme case that news people take out of concept so you, the fucking idiot, sit there and make them money.
CK is the most interesting person to listen to. Even when he’s not being funny he’s fascinating
Show this to all your relatives at Thanksgiving
Awwwww !!! In East Village Wine And Spirits !!!
Patrice loved him too..real soldier
Heartbreaking episode. Too real.
One thing I'll say is that this guy is my favourite white comedian that dresses really well
Lol nikkkers always make shit about race somehow someway
Doug is one of the greats
I remember watching Elephant in the room , on Comedy Central . I must’ve been 18-19 years old . I remember how excited I got when I found out that Mr. P was a frequent guest on the O&A show . I still to this day listen to those shows .
Only regret I have is not trying to do stand up
She was shook 😂
Louis CK loves whenever people joke about Whites, but when his own people get brought up he has to break out the big guns ✡️😂
I miss you, Bill. Thank you
It must be such a relief for him to think holy shit my life was a nighmare but i ended hugely successful and all of that is over forever now ... i can't relate cause i've done bad things which stressed the fuk outta me and i've failed soo much and i'm in my 30s still trying to better myself in every way possible ... people like me don't even know how long the nightmare will continue ... either way i love Louis CK i think he is one of those people who are real ... not pretending to be good or bad just realistic and kinda wise
We ALL Miss Patrice & are upset he didnt take care of himself. Always the good 1's to go 2 soon...R.I.P. PATRICE
He did amazing. One of the episodes that i think of when i look back at that series
Legend
❤
Man, if Canelo was around back then, they would lose their mind.
we have to protect doug. just for the case of free speech.
I love how much of a hardliner louis appears. He's so intelligent but has such a flawed view of politics. Speaks of Reagan like this, yet he was one of the biggest supporters of immigrants and immigration in that era. As a pseudo immigrant himself, you'd think he would recognize that fact.
Genuinely my favorite movie ever lmao
I think Bill is second guessing his statement that we are all the same.
Ah yes, I've been searching for videos where someone tells the same story three times. Thank you!
I saw Gravity in the theatre, 2D, and I was blown away by the special effects from pretty much the opening frame to the last. To take my perspective into space like that amazed me. Then these comedians roll in and take their high quality shits on the casting and plot or physics holes. ahhh. Everybody is a critic. I think it is one of the best science fiction movies ever made. Yes it doesn't have a Kubrickesque devotion to science, but I think it more than makes up for it in the grand theatre of cinema.
No one cares what you think about some shitty movie
Douglas actually looks pretty good these days tho
“Those things don’t live very long”
Even being serious, he was funny! You are greatly missed Mr. Hicks.
