XE’s Seafood Boil
(2 qt water per # crawfish)
To double recipe, use the (parenthesis)
DUMP IN:
3 (6) Lemon
3 (6) Orange
2 (4) Cups Boil Spice
1 McCormick Shrimp & crab boil spice bag in pod
1 (2) Cluster Garlic Clove
Boil, then simmer 10 mins
DUMP IN:
3 (6) Sweet Corn (cut 1/3s)
6 (12) Red Potato (whole)
1 (2) Jar Pickles & juice!
1 (2) Box Brown Mushroom
Simmer 15 mins
DUMP IN:
3 (6) Burton Sausage (sliced)
3 (6) Yellow Onion (big slice)
1 (2) Pound Green Bean
Simmer 5 mins
DONE: Dump into your smaller Vegi ice chest with lid propped up.
Turn heat high to boil again before proceeding.
DUMP IN:
6 (12) Pound Crawfish
3 (6) Pound Jumbo Shrimp
Bring to boil, then simmer no more than about 3 mins - Crawfish float when done! Test peel and eat, if done, cut heat and remove ASAP.
DONE: Dump into your larger ice chest on a bed of ice and spices.
Sprinkle more spices, then add ice, close, agitate, wait 2 mins.
DUMP IN: Ice chest back into boil basket and dunk. Remove soon as ice melts.
DONE: Dump back into empty ice chest, add 1 or 2 cubes salty butter if desired.
NOTE: The ice quench stops any overcooking - experiment with ice amount and time. Crawfish, crab and shrimp are very delicate meat. Consider if the temperature is high enough to cook them, and you remove when done, the residual heat goes right on cooking them until they get mushy, unless you arrest the temperature, in this case done with the ice quench. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

2011-2016 FORD F250 Super Duty Possible No Crank Fix
มุมมอง 2.4K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
If you have a third generation (2011-2016) Ford F250 Super Duty truck and the dash lights up but it won't crank, this might help you. In our case, a battery terminal rotted off and we tried to remote start the truck, but it was trying to use the one good battery - pretty sure we smoked the relay (turned out to be 3!). This solution might help you, as I did not find this anywhere else.

Woo Crew Fishing & Dolphins

Cinnamon and I were invited out with the Woo Crew on their SeaVee 43' sport fishing yacht for a day of fishing in the gulf. In addition to limiting out on snapper, we had some interesting moments, including breaking a spinning reel at the shank (never seen that happen). Then we had a pod of dolphins show up and take a great interest in us, spending more than half an hour playing round the yacht...

So cute 🥰
I thought it was just plain ball, but of course not 😅

Now that is a ship. Quick question: have you ever considered a fly-by-wire for steering and throttle, either as primary or back up?
Thank you. As most final steering mechanisms (at the rudder) remain hydraulic today, it works fine as a full hydro and from two stations plus the auto-pilot pump, pretty efficient. Since I do all close quarter maneuvers with the transmissions with rudders at 0º and auto-pilot handling the navigation, I just don't spend much time on the wheel honestly. Now servos on the throttles though... it could still happen, and would be a nice upgrade. Great question.
A Walrus feast!
You’re a lucky man
Absolutely gold information for when i get a yacht in my next life lmao
I’m the first to comment 😀 I have a Ford F250 Super Duty 2016 Won’t start. No dashboard lights. Radio works. I put in another known good working battery from my other Ford…still same symptoms. Key to start position, I hear chatter in the direction of the passenger side dashboard area. This problem was discovered this morning when I went to start. I tried jumping the original battery (2yrs old)… I noticed Tuesday, when I opened the truck doors, the headlights came on and stayed on for about 3-5 minutes then turned off. I reopened the door and checked the light switch was off. I checked and reclosed all 4 doors. I haven’t checked any fuses or start relays yet… Will a bad start relay or open fuse cause these symptoms?
The headlights going on is a real odd symptom. Something is dropping that circuit to ground to turn them on perhaps. Check battery voltages of both batteries. There are like Seven of those problematic relays, 1 in the passenger right footwell, and six under the hood left side by the firewall. Try this webpage you can mouseover the relay to see what it powers: www.startmycar.com/us/ford/f-250/info/fusebox/2015
Did you fix it ?
Very informative 🎉🎉🎉
Cool glad you enjoyed. It took a lot of clips and editing to get all that in there. Thanks for watching.
Nyango star is a master
Indeed. Without question!
is there a video of the refit of the pilot house?
We took pictures of some wiring harnesses and key areas but did not anticipate doing a whole transformation video. You can see how rough it was and the odd monitor over the missing analog instruments in the episode S1-E3: Florida to Texas Cruise if you happen to be looking for it. There seem to always be things we wished we had more footage for. Thank you for watching!
Nice Helm. impressive amount of work of work on the wiring.
Thank you. Yes we spent a lot of time up there on all that; it was very time consuming.
Nice Overview
Thanks for watching! Yes we tried to give the rundown of a typical yacht system.
Great video man!!!.. Exactly what everyone needs to hear in all the different circumstances!!..perfect, man!! Post more you're car is awesome!
Thanks for checking us out!
So how much work and $ did it take to fix the instrument panel? When I was considering that boat someone had jerry rigged a computer screen with cameras in the engine room to monitor the engines. I assumed the original panel didn't work.
It was indeed time consuming, but my wife and I are quite good at this type of work so that essentially removed the labor cost component for us. You are correct; there was a Visio monitor set on top of the analog dash, no tachs, and several instruments missing or not working. Once the monitor was removed and the wiring faults corrected, we discovered many of the instruments still worked. We had to build an entirely new ground bridge for all the instruments, and run many new wires for gauges that were oddly just missing. It took us weeks to fix it all, and probably a couple thousand bucks in new parts / wiring. We also fabricated some missing pieces. Thanks for checking it out!
Did you do those wheelies in first or second gear? I have a 1996 FJ1200 , tried wheeling it today.
Hi there. Starting in first, and shifting to second. The front end (+ motor) makes the FJ a little stubborn to get off the ground, but once you do, you can balance it pretty well. Make sure you do not lean forward / bend your elbows, you need as much of your body weight back as possible to get that beast off the ground.
@@XERyderok thx i will try my best
Barnacle buster works REALLY well on all that green corrosion.
Great job Capt beautiful vessel
Thank you very much for checking us out, glad you enjoyed it. Move to come.
Eat up ford's spit out Chevy and laugh at chucky Davidsons !
There is nothing quite like the scream of a 2 stroke. Thanks for watching.
thanks
And thanks for checking us out!
I hope you all are having a good summer!
Thank you, and so far so good - same to you!
Top with light beer of your choice - PBR, Coors, whatever. Cheers!
Same here
Do you still have the regal?
Thanks for checking it out, and we don't, but one of our friends had been waiting to get his hands on it!
She just be shredding drums every time she plays.
its a battleship.... i used to live in a marina where a couple handled it regularly. was different when diesel was a dollar a gallon....
Thank you for watching. I also agree on both counts!
lol yall act like quad fills are difficult
Got a 1986 fj1100 for sale
Don't temp me! But feel free to post the link here for the FJ family my brother.
I love that boat. Im in a 51 Hatt at same marina. Slip 401 "Compadre"
Ahoy fellow Hatty Capt! Thanks for watching. Look us up sometime.
😂 I ran a 65c for several years out of Lauderdale and we didn’t have half of the gizmos you have especially thrusters.
Nice, what was the HID or name of the vessel at the time? What did you have for mains in it? Enclosed FB? Always like to hear about fellow 65C hulls.
Awesome video. It makes me want to deck my boat out with lights and participate this Christmas.
It really is a neat event. The video just has the clips of the boats / yachts as they pass. A lot of other fun moments to be had. Go for it.
Apparently he won
*LATCHKUM!* 🙌🏼
Did he win, or they won because he was now out? Good times.
Very impressive. Fun to see a real yachtsman and first mate doing the ship handling thing. Amazing condition on what is now a classic vessel. Congratulations!
Much appreciated! It was certainly a labor of love that paid off. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching.
First class operation. This capt is not a newbie. Idling diesels are real music in that spotless engine room. Good video! Thank you!
And thank you for the props and checking us out. We really try to get clips of everything to share so folks can see all aspects of what is going on. Do love some 2 cycle diesel tones as well.
One of the oldest things to do on my bucket-list...
Everybody I would like to clear this up, this video is a joke. You have to use an ancient sword that’s been melted down into a screwdriver.
Instructions unclear, i ripped off half roof getting the smoke alarm off it.
Sorry; turn the alarm 1/4 turn to the left to remove from ceiling, Then bash with hammer for keeping you up with beeping sounds. :-)
@@XERyder ah, thanks.
Very interesting to see a boat that I helped to build so many years after. I was at Hatteras in New Bern NC back in 1987-1989 on line 5 which was only 65' Convertibles. I was in station 6 which was the interior cabinets, headliners, outside portholes, main door, guest and crew staterooms build, and the padded walls, etc... Nice!!
Thank you for watching and the comment. That is really exciting to hear you worked the line for these in their hey day, that must have been one heck of an interesting job. The longevity of these battleships is a testament to your team's fine workmanship.
Very nice video! Beautiful boat!
Thank you! Hope you found it informative.
Wow! Love this video
Awesome, thank you for checking it out!
