I go to my butcher here in France buy some meat, then ask for a bone for my BIG dog. He goes to his reserve, cuts me half a HUGE bone and gives it to me free. OK I have to cut it into half, I use a normal wood saw, which is one of my normal kitchen implements. Enjoy

Aligot saucisse ou truffade entrecôte (aubrac) to try next time! ;) I'd recommend to look for specialties by french regions, instead of going randomly around restaurants ... It's a good way to travel all over french "terroir" and enjoy their foods, on top of finding gems you'd miss otherwise.
