    Great info! IF you were to run some retargeting - would you put those ad sets in the same campaign as your broad ad sets? (and simply change the Bid/ROAS target to reflect a higher standard for retargeting traffic?) Secondarily - I spoke to a META marketing pro and they suggested no more than 3-5 ad sets in a single Campaign and recommended less than 15 total active campaigns. Their general vibe was that after a certain point to much creative may have diminishing returns...? I have noticed declining performance over the past through months with the MEGA CAMPAIGNS - anything you're changing on that front? Thank you as always - your content is gold 🙏

    You are making great videos, but I noticed that your videos are not getting the views they deserve? It is because you are not doing proper SEO on your videos. Why are you not doing SEO on your videos? If you do SEO on your videos, your videos will reach your real audience. You should definitely do the same on your videos too.

    Hey Andrew, fantastic content here. How important is the primary text on a meta ad VS the creative copy? which one should i change in priority? If i do iterations of one static ad with changing the creative copy and the primary text i will end up with too many ads for one angle/ad set. Would love to hear your though on this

    Great stuff man. Thank you for your work, your stuff has educated me so much on understanding my clients business numbers and looking far beyond in platform but also being accountable in platform at the same time. Slowly moving clients onto manual bids - hard in the UK because our sales tax (VAT) is 20% and often destroys margin and clients always want a lot more than is workable generally. But still, fighting the good fight as much as possible!

      Thanks for the kind feedback and I'm so glad to be some help! Re: VAT, the reality is that it's part of the margin profile whether or not you're running manual bids. You can either spend profitably or unprofitably, but that margin doesn't change.

    Hey andrew i have been binge watching your video and i started with bidcap in a brand new ad account . I have couple of questions . 1) i saw the beardbrand episode and you showed your unit economics sheet and use the numbers to comeup with bid. I have the sheet but which bid do we follow is it 1dc or 28dc? I am running a personalised jewellery brand where the jewellery comes with different message cards and the variable here is the message card but each message card is a product in a store with different url in this case do we seperate the product in its own campaign? The aov is same across all products. And lastly the most important question . You say if meta thinks if your creatives are good then it will spend But when i started my campaign and kept the bid at 60$ it didnt spend anything for hours and i bumped it to 100$ just to check and it got spent so does this indicate meta thinks my creatives will only fetch me 100$ sales? But with me i got sales quite under my breakeven cpa . So with bidcap is meta going after bottom of funnel purchasers? When we use lowest cost alot of people say meta uses machine learning to deliver the results and with caps we limit the machine learning . Do cost/bidcaps utilise machine learning ? If yes then why does meta gives us tool like flexible ads /dynamic creatives. What do you think about using flexible ads with bidcap campaign Again i want reiterate i am in love with cost control but confused a bit since i got profitable sales when i kept the bid way over what unit economics sheet provided. Say if i keep the bid what sheet provided and didnt inflate it and it gets spend does that mean meta will get me purchasers for that cpa? Also can you make a video about how auction specifically lowest cost and cost control works like how they enter the auction . Timburd uses alot of inflated bids to bully the competitors have you heard about his structures ? One last question do you test new creatives inside the adset by editing it or in a new adset completely ? Thanks hope you will answer these

      Best place to look for this is my full build with Beardbrand: th-cam.com/video/q0eJj3m-Hqs/w-d-xo.html The only difference for me now vs then is that I usually separate campaigns by product now, just for the sake of ease of management (e.g. out of stocks, different AOVs, etc). As you've previously mentioned, I believe product is just so fundamental to this. I've exhausted so much energy on brands trying to squeeze out the LTV - email flows, offers, incentives etc. Put more energy this time into picking the right product this time round - and we have 40% LTV lift within 60 days for a brand launched 3 months ago - no post purchase flows, no winbacks. Repeat is so tied into the fundamental product itself not the marketing.

    Great video, thanks for the value! One question, do you just launch each concept of variation in a separate ad set within 1 CBO (manual bids)? For e.g. for our case, we are a men's jewelry brand and we either run ads on CC or ROAS goal but all ads have the same goal in terms offer, products, targets, etc..) If that;s the case should we just launch each ad concept (variation) as a new adset in 1 CBO on either CC or ROAS goal, regardless of the angle? Also is there a benefit to having 2 campaigns, 1 on CC and one on ROAS goal and just launching each concept variation in both? Just so we can go after volume and value, i imagine it can attract different audiences. To give you some context our spend level is around $50-60K a month.

    • @andrewfarispodcast
      @andrewfarispodcast หลายเดือนก่อน

      No more than 6 ads per ad set (unless you're running Flexible/Dynamic Creative). Group ad sets by AOV, as a general rule. I tend to split campaigns by product for ease of inventory management, etc., though in a category like jewelry I might break them up by category (e.g. rings, necklaces, etc). Beyond that, I don't REALLY care how you do it. As for tROAS and CC, here's my complete take: th-cam.com/video/kIJPYmBiHg8/w-d-xo.html

    • @John-kc7iw
      @John-kc7iw หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@andrewfarispodcast Thanks for the reply! Yeah, that makes sense. We are mainly now focused on 1 product category, and whatever the angle or product is, the AOV is the same, and so is the targeted CPA. So, I think a single consolidated CBO will make more sense for us instead of launching every new concept as a new campaign in order to stay more consolidated. I considered going for 2 as I would like to use tROAS on top of CC, but I will listen to your take on it first! As for flexible/dynamic creative, we want to add more variations per angle especially for static ads, so we might try that too. Until now we were also doing 6 ads max even tho we can easily do way more variations.

    I'm really excited about this idea. How are you keeping track of all your concepts/angles/hooks when cranking out this much volume? Are you keeping track of how much creative you're pumping in an account for a specific concept vs another? E.g. "reduce oily hair with more oil" being the concept, or do you just look at ad performance and see what's getting spend and build out more ads within that concept?

      I'm glad you said so. Deep down, I think this is one of the best, most helpful episodes I've ever released and we're implementing it at AJFG really actively. As far as keeping track, all I'm really doing is sorting Meta Dashboard by amount spent, then keeping a Notion Card highlighting the stuff that's spending the most and putting them through this process.

    I’ve been out of the game a while - need to find some of your earlier vids explaining cost caps and how to calculate them? Could I just set them at my target CPA?

      Best place to start there might be my walkthrough with Beardbrand: ajfgrowth.com/beardbrand But really if you are getting serious about this, there is no resource that is going to be better for walking you through this with real structure and clarity than ADmission: www.youradmission.co/andrew-faris-podcast

    Great, as always! Quick question: Do you allow the one adset with multiple ads to do all the retargeting? Do you load the adset (with winning ads) with retargeting ads and let fb decide if/when to show? Ty Andrew!

    • @andrewfarispodcast
      @andrewfarispodcast หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I don't set any separate retargeting in my targeting. Sometimes just a retention spend for past customers, but otherwise nothing.

    Thanks Andrew! Do you run these as flexible ads or are you setting up individual ads for each variation of the copy/images?

    • @andrewfarispodcast
      @andrewfarispodcast หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lots of flexible, as long as I don't need deeper insights about any of the particular ads.

    I am a complete beginner for FB ads but want to start selling my homemade products. PLEASE what is the best way for me to start?

      This is hard to say if you're truly a 100% complete beginner. Maybe my first ever episode with Nasrin Jafari? ajfgrowth.com/mixed The other resource, if you're truly serious about it, is ADmission from Common Thread Collective: www.youradmission.co/andrew-faris-podcast
