btw, your suggestion on carrying candies into new game plus isn't what you think. the stat reduction is a permanent invisible debuff, not something that happens upon ng+. a candy that increases a stat by 1 won't increase it by 1 anymore, it'll only increase the base stat.

im late to this but as a lisahead i do insanely disagree with saying they capture ed's vision. SOTWS and infinity unfolds suffer from their own issues (IU especially has notedly VERY rough balancing and misses alotta ed's cogent design for out and out unfair mechanics that don't mesh), with both suffering from the same problem alotta the monster update content does. alongside issues with strong constrasts from the writing style kinda born of ed's eclectic nature. wherein it's not meaningfully expanding on the ideas, instead only really touching those same notes in different colors over a MUCH longer period of time. it's a great love letter for all the lore that's been known. but i do think it warps the nature of what makes base pointless so effective, every single scene does something to softly or openly tell you a bunch about the world along with peoples motivations at the end of everything (most notably, the dinner scene in gambling hall). and thats a fear monster update also as a whole also brings of adding alot but much of it being in question as to what it does beyond reiterate the point again.

Oh man, I ALMOST dropped this video and bought the game like I did with Fear and Hunger 2, but I watched just long enough to see this game uses some tropes that aren't my jam. Oh well, that just means I can watch this awesome Worm Girl video without fearing spoilers!

Huhhhh, I'm a sex worker myself but I had no idea punk used to mean that, or had any ties to it at all. Very interesting. I love the myriad of different words for sex worker, all with their own different flavours and connotations. A harlot or strumpet feels very different to a courtesan. Whore feels much more rough. Language is cool. Thanks for the great videos wiggly girl.
