14:56 I didn't play the new DOOM, but if it works like classic DOOM I think he means that the game spawned more enemies than usual and the larger amount of enemies in the level caused the game to lag.

You can't fight lies with more lies. Nintendo's own games, which are the only ones that sell well to begin with, run fine on the switch, including TOTK and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. There are no inhouse or first party Nintendo game that are anywhere near "unplayable". XC3 does have its hiccups, but's it's far from an unplayable mess and is actually impressive how well it's able run on such dated hardware. If you personally cannot play a game running less than 60FPS, just say that. Don't say a game is "unplayable" because it's runs at a frame rate and resolution you personally don't like. I will agree about this harman guy being an idiot though.

btw i love steam but the steam deck is not good or better than the switch. the steam deck is the size of a subway footlong and has horrible battery life (ill admit the switch's isnt all that good either but still). might be better in a vacuum but not in real life

Harman Smith said that the difficulty settings affect performance, and I’m wondering why he thinks that. Maybe it’s because there are more projectiles? In Doom Eternal, enemies shoot more projectiles on higher difficulty settings, so maybe he was at least partially correct about that, but I wouldn’t know. I’ve never experienced anything like that.

If Harman had any shred of self awareness, he would keep his mouth shut, put a lock on it, whatever.

He literally takes it personally when someone doesn't like what he likes, or prefers something else. He hates it so much that he will delude and lie to himself into believing everyone else is just attacking Nintendo and ganging up on them like they're some child on a playground who needs protection from bullies, and not a multi billion dollar company putting out tech products.

Nintendo refusing to let the Xbox and PlayStation players play games like TOTK and SSBU is a crime against video games in my eyes. Smash should DEFINITELY be a multi-platform game imo, it’s too good to be kept on the Switch. But Nintendo is hellbent on keeping their monopoly over the gaming space so they decide to be assholes and restrict these games to an awful platform with terrible controllers. I like my Switch but it’s not on the same level as my Xbox.
