Hi , glad you liked the video . Those 'oh shit' moments definitely keep things interesting! 😅 Check 19:45 for the real scary moment in the deep mud . Israel really does look amazing in the rain-it adds a whole new vibe to the ride.

How you avoid the error message which say the drone can track just people or vehicles.. Even I draw a box around me on my motorbike I get this error message every time and can't fix it.. Don't want to track me..
So there are a couple of things you can do about that : 1. Ensure Clear Contrast: Make sure there's a good contrast between you and the background to help the drone recognize you. 2. Start Tracking While Stationary: Begin the Active Track setup when you're stationary so the drone can lock onto you more effectively. 3. Firmware Update: Check that your drone’s firmware is up-to-date If the error persists, it might help to test it without the motorcycle gear or in a more open area to see if the drone struggles less. Hope this helps!

Looks fun! I did the same route a week ago (dry) it was very fun and deep sand - like beach sand in many areas. Next mud challenge - yarkon, its next level clay-mud that is crazy deep and slippery but satisfying too! (cleaning is a pain though)

Hello Itzik Arazi, sorry for such a late post to your excellent video, I just discoverd it while looking for Tenere reviews. Anyway, I imagine by now someone has possible already given you the following tip about picking a heavy motorcycle up of the ground, if not here goes. When picking up do not face the bike, you want to squat down with your back to the bike, find good pickup points to grab onto and stand up with the bike using leg power instead of just using your arms and back. Your legs are more powerful and you will be less likley to injure your back this way. Once you have the bike up obviously you can just turn around hop on and ride away! Hope this info is helpful and Happy Trails and safe travels to you!
thanks , glad you liked the video . I am 185 cm so the squat with back position was not conferrable for me when the tenere is so flat on the ground . At the end I replaced the tenere 700 with Kove 450 rally and now its way easier for me to pick it up :-)
Just a couple of suggestions, maybe good? - Put some oil or grease on the area that seals the foam filter to the airbox. - In very dusty areas I'd suggest oiling the filter by putting it in a plastic bag with filter oil and fully impregnating the filter. - For the engine oil level, on the first change carefully measure the correct amount of oil and then calibrate the oil level (I prefer the zip tie rather than adding a potential leak point). Great to have these videos!

Dr 650 or kove?
Good question. Both are excellent machines, great both off-road and on-road. It really depends on the rider, but here are some key points to consider: The Kove is much taller, and its service intervals are much shorter compared to the DR650. When it comes to resale value, the DR650 has a strong market, whereas the Kove is still relatively unknown in that area. In my opinion, the Kove performs better both on the road and off-road .
The T7 off road is a beast. When the bike weighs more than you, one cannot toss it around off road.

Hi, How many KM between services for this bike?
@@katangilis The service intervals at the beginning are: 500 km then 1000 Km, followed by 2000 km and after that every 2000 km.
In my honest opinion the first service at 500kms is useless… makes absolutely no sense, kove should only ask for the 1000´s one.
@@Jonathan-ez8tq You are absolutely right, BUT I think they want to play it safe by including the extra 500 km service to ensure everything is ok. For the first year,while the bike is under warranty, I recommend following the service schedule outlined in the manual . That way you will be covered in case anything goes wrong .
Itzik: GREAT video! I'm in USA, 2024 Standard Offroad Pro model. Regarding the steel screens, he did it right, your oil was very clean when it came out. Those screens are for large particles. If the magnet on the drain plug/primary screen is OK, you can skip that one side like he did. Good tips on greasing o-rings. I add 1.8 ltr oil when changing the paper filter and both screens. Please thank your technician from me for allowing us to see the right way to do this oil change, I am forwarding this to other owners! There is so much different info on this procedure- this one is correct. Front wheel- yup, those need balancing. I used the same weights you did- I removed the caliper so the wheel spun freely to balance it. Not as good as his technique with the balancing stand but I got it close enough. Those bead locks are heavy! Now do the rear wheel! Stops all the weaving on the pavement. Again- great video, great dealer- very, very nice of them to let us in their shop to see your Tech work on your bike, so don't forget to buy him a beer! And for more pep and smoother running, I highly recommend the Coober exhaust and ECU. You will love it! Thanks!

Glad you liked the video! After the upgrade, I noticed that 1st gear is much stronger, and in places where the bike would have stalled before, it now performs better. 2nd gear is now more usable for rough terrain (though for really gnarly sections, I’d still stick with 1st gear). On the downside, there isn’t much. The main difference I’ve noticed is that before the change, riding at 120 km/h used 6000 RPM, but now it’s 7000 RPM.
4:05 First gear?
Because I changed the rear sprocket to 51T, I tried using 2nd gear on the uphill (I started the climb in 2nd gear). It definitely has more power than before, BUT I realized during the ride that I still need to use 1st gear for the really tough sections. However, 2nd gear can now be used more often in certain situations than it could before.

Thanks, I am glad you liked the video :-) There are no fuel consumption issues with this bike. I filled both the front and rear tanks and consistently got good range (although I haven’t done an official range test yet). As for reliability, so far, I haven’t heard of anyone mentioning engine issues, so I’m hopeful for the best.
Best to change that rimlock. Stock is ultra heavy.

24:40 The 690 vibrates?? What model did you ride? 2019+ with the dual balancing shaft have almost zero vibrations.
@@constantinosschinas4503 When you are riding the 690/701 you feel the vibration with your legs ... You are right that the handlebar vibration is better in 2019+ bikes but the whole bike vibrates because of the engine ...
@Itzik_Arazi I don't know i find the new 690 engine a technological marvel with no vibrations. Maybe is has only the vibration i like (no pun intended) and they do not register.
Some guys with two-stroke motorcycles told me that their vibrations are fine for them, so everyone has their own idea of a comfortable ride :-)

There is a +9HP race kit avaiable which will bring the bike to life.
The race exhaust and ECU will raise the HP BUT the exhaust is too loud to handle in day to day use
I wish it could carry a passenger, even for short rides. I would definetely buy it then. Our dealer in Greece is more than excellent.
For passenger you will probably need a different bike :-)
@Itzik_Arazi I know but why tho. It would not cost them more than 2kg.
They branded this bike as a race bike, so I think that’s the reason. Also, with the high exhaust, it’s physically impossible to put a passenger on the back

How is it on the highway ? Like road #2 or similar?
The bike is amazing on the highway after the front wheel balance , also I am doing the back wheel as well soon . The only thing I need to change regarding road use is the seat , I need to take care of it so it will be more comfortable

@@Itzik_Arazi obviously it feels a million pounds lighter then the Tenere, but how does it feel compared to the WR250R?
It feels the same weight as the WR (they both feel very light) BUT the Kove is way more powerful and fun . Also the Kove is much better on the road , way better !
Just got my Kove, only ridden the once so far. The sky here is not blue like yours. Anything on the Kove is interesting, life with the Kove.

Hello from France. You detailed this bike very well. I received my KOVE 2 months ago and drove 1500 km. I just dismantled it completely to grease all the axles because, like all the other brands I have owned, there are very few, if any. The 52 tooth crowns from KTM fit perfectly on the KOVE. For now, I am very satisfied with it !!!

@@Itzik_Arazi I use this 52 tooth sprocket because the trails in my area are very winding and I also ride on mountainous trails. I don't know what the maximum speed is with this crown, but it is more than sufficient for my use.

So the official respond from the dealership is : If the oil comes out clean without any metal shavings, there’s really no need to take apart the additional filter, but it will be checked at the next 1000 km service.
Great video! To remove the oil filter you can also use the sump plug magnet 🧲! For the valve check, you have to remove the fan on the left side radiator to allow space to remove the rocker cover. The buckets are marked underneath with the size, so it's easy to order the correct new bucket!
And you should also balance the rear wheel.
Yes ,I will probably do it at the next service when I also replace the rear sprocket to 51T
