Hello from France. You detailed this bike very well. I received my KOVE 2 months ago and drove 1500 km. I just dismantled it completely to grease all the axles because, like all the other brands I have owned, there are very few, if any. The 52 tooth crowns from KTM fit perfectly on the KOVE. For now, I am very satisfied with it !!!
Thanks , I am glad you liked the video :-) Congratulations on the new bike ! , how does a 52T feels like ? do you have the power in 1st gear or 2nd ? Also, how much did it reduce the high-end speed?
@@Itzik_Arazi I use this 52 tooth sprocket because the trails in my area are very winding and I also ride on mountainous trails. I don't know what the maximum speed is with this crown, but it is more than sufficient for my use.
Agreed @TACOMOTOCO and well done Itzik, you definitely went into more detail than I did with my review, I agree with every point you made. Hope you recieve your 450 soon!
Thanks for this great summary. I’m actually interested in comparing it to the DRZ400. Everyone compare this bike to large adventure bikes or Chinese bikes of the same engine size, but I think (especially in Israel) that the market is craving dual-sport motorcycles, and the real legend here is the DRZ. Anyway, thanks a lot... I hope to see these soon on the Israeli roads.
They branded this bike as a race bike, so I think that’s the reason. Also, with the high exhaust, it’s physically impossible to put a passenger on the back
@@constantinosschinas4503 When you are riding the 690/701 you feel the vibration with your legs ... You are right that the handlebar vibration is better in 2019+ bikes but the whole bike vibrates because of the engine ...
@Itzik_Arazi I don't know i find the new 690 engine a technological marvel with no vibrations. Maybe is has only the vibration i like (no pun intended) and they do not register.
Great review, looking forward for more videos on this bike! One thing that caught my attention is the exhaust and pipe, it looks prone to damage and bending when the bike falls over (typical tumble when climbing rocks at low speed) , any thoughts?
I'm glad you liked the video! I hope to post more as soon as I get the bike. Regarding the exhaust, I've only seen people get hit in the section that the stock skid plate doesn't protect. But we'll see in the future if it gets damaged-because I'm definitely going to do some gnarly things with it!
@@Itzik_Arazi Cool thanks! Definitely looking forward to it as you also influenced my previous bike purchase (WR) - might find myself on a Kove soon too 🤔
On my review ride I dropped my bike at least 6 times and there's only a scratch on the exhaust with a small dent, considering it was dropped on rocks, I would say its strong!
You are trying to make a review of the enduro bike, but in your test drive you where bearly moving, I have no idea how you can test the suspension or the engine at theese speeds ?
This is not an enduro bike, it's more of a dual sport/light adventure bike. I rode a dealership bike with 50/50 tires, so I couldn't tackle anything too gnarly. BUT, I just ordered my own and requested more aggressive tires. So, if you want to see this bike in more hardcore action, subscribe to the channel to stay updated with the latest videos!
The brand is still a no name brand with no dealership support. That hasn't changed. That's the biggest problem. You'll be lucky if your country has any service shops at all, let alone nearby. I wish it wasn't like that but that's why this bike is a no go for me. Which is a shame. Great review regardless.
Thank , I am glad you liked the video ! Yes in my country wr start to get more service point to this bike and as of now people are starting to buy them so I hope more support for it will come in the future . I hope you will be able to ride it in your country someday 😃
The engine is a single-cylinder, so that’s just the natural sound of it-honestly, it’s not too bad! Plus, you can always upgrade the exhaust for a better sound. Either way, the sound doesn’t take away from the fact that this motorcycle is amazing!
True, 'ultimate' is subjective, but it's more about capturing the best balance or experience for a specific purpose or group of people. What might be the 'ultimate' for one person could just be good or average for someone else. It’s all about context!

Great Review, thanks 👍
thank you for watching 😀
I wish it could carry a passenger, even for short rides. I would definetely buy it then. Our dealer in Greece is more than excellent.
For passenger you will probably need a different bike :-)
@Itzik_Arazi I know but why tho. It would not cost them more than 2kg.
They branded this bike as a race bike, so I think that’s the reason.

@@Itzik_Arazi The exhaust shouldn't be the problem. A weak subframe though, is.
Thanks for the review. Seeing this just makes me sad that there is no modernized DRZ :(
There is now and it pretty much sucks...

24:40 The 690 vibrates?? What model did you ride? 2019+ with the dual balancing shaft have almost zero vibrations.

Some guys with two-stroke motorcycles told me that their vibrations are fine for them, so everyone has their own idea of a comfortable ride :-)
Any 690…..
There is a +9HP race kit avaiable which will bring the bike to life.
The race exhaust and ECU will raise the HP BUT the exhaust is too loud to handle in day to day use
