Brisbane desperately needed at least 6 iconic features that is instantly recognisable worldwide. This stadium fits that objective. The FIFA world cup ( Italy) and the Olympics ( Munich) set the standard for stadiums. Of course many locations along the river needed to be updated. The Gateway Bridge and its scrap metal ' installations' need work. But congratulations on your project . I have no doubt it will succeed just because it projects confidence and charisma. Paul.

Well just like that, Brisbane has completely shat the bed. Brisbane wants to play with the big boys, but with a shoestring budget. The temporary seating at the Gold Coast CommGames looked awful compared to what was presented in presented in renders. Looks like Brisbanes going down the same path. Even Perth is more prepared for and Olympics.

What's this gonna cost a casual $20 billion? Also looks to utilise alien engineering techniques, not sure how those gravity defying stadium stands will be supported, unobtanium? I mean it looks amazing, but I'd love to see a realistic cost estimate with someone reputable willing to put their name on it. I'd also be very interested to see the structural engineering proposed. At the moment they're living in the land of make believe.

The pitch is too long, if it’s because they are catering for possible future NFL games as said by one of the designers then thats crap. Some of the best stadiums in the world are close to the action, and let’s face it beside concerts the only sport/team that would pack it out is the All Blacks.

This looks really cool for our city it will actually make me feel like I’m one of them fancy shopping malls in Christchurch. But this video, I reckon they could’ve done a shot around the whole outside of the block, and then showed all around the inside to actually show us exactly what what the whole thing will look like once the entire redevelopment is finished and ready operate as normal, I’ve only seen one impression of what the historical landmark -Bank Of The New South Wales will look like incorporated into the redevelopment, I actually wanted to see exactly what it actually look like from the outside and inside just so that I know for myself. If only they decided to show all around the new block that would’ve been better
