I just tried to make a bodice block from another tutorial when I came across a huge problem. My armhole was all in zigzags instead of a circle shape that the arm hole should be. I'm hoping this will help me better, since I am plus size! 🙂🙂

Well detailed, you did a good job, thanks for sharing. I didn't know one can do a bus dart abibeb3 inches. I have always had issue with giving more than 3 inches for my bust dart, i was told you can't do more thank 3 inches. And still the back will burge. Will definitely try this method

This is very precise. I had to subscribe. I have a question though. Different between my burst lenght and under burst length is 3. Difference between my front half length and back lenght is also 3. Meaning that if I have to draw my burst dart, it'll end right on the under burst line. My question is whether it's okay to draw it that way or should I apply this your pattern and use 2" for the burst dart and add the remaining 1" to the side back? Thanks you in anticipation

So you did not show us how to calculate the crotch extension????

Why did you come in 0.5 inches by the crouch?

At your waist. You subtracted 0.25 and then ADDED 0.5 for ease. WHY DID U subtracted and then you add it back in? I don’t get that.

Hi Uwe. Thank you so much for sharing yiur knowledge. Please i have a question. I knownthis nathalie bray patyern, but usually i do have problem with my lower part of my pattern. Whenever i want to make a dress from the pattern, the upper part is always perfect. But for the lower part, the front is always woder than the back. So i am sensing that this could be as a result of the hip÷4 +3 for the front pattern. So i don't know if you have similar experince. And if you don't have such experience, how do you do it that it comes out perfectly? Kindky share a knowledge on this please. Thank you
