I can never understand why Folk want their Stocks and Barrels Gleaming as if in a Show Room Surely the Glare from it on a Bright Day would work against one ..( Then again How often do we get that in England!?)🤔😆😆😆

Great stuff Ballistol. I have small cotton cloth with Ballistol sprayed on it in a pellet tin in every weapon bag. Every time i used a weapon i wipe it of. Cheers!

I bought that for my boy about 23 years ago , the original HW 99 I tuned it up back then for him still shoots sweet , I've got loads of spares here for your Airsporter if you struggle to find anything 👍🍻

In my opinion probably the best air rifle for a youngster, and still very useable for adults alike, WEIRAUCH have always produced nothing but quality, its 23 years old and can stack shots on top of each other , all the best mate 👍🍻🤝

100% trying to get ppl to understand how ballistics work is crazy. The light stuff starts out faster but dies off much faster. Weight carries. It's why when I shoot 100 yd shot with 8mm I have to aim higher than 9.5 even tho it's leaving the setup faster. Fantastic video. Of course, we gun guys know these things already.

Yep, I shot a 8mm steel ball at a plywood board from 9 meters and the ricochet went straight for my head. The indentation was about the same as yours. Tried it a few more times to see if I could dodge the bullet. Thanks for the video.
That would need to be going at least 420 fps to do anything, even then due to its weight the energy drops off fast , dodging the bullet 😂
Careful with the return to sender shots mate! Especially when using that frame. Some old bloke in Tennessee might get the blame!🤕😉 Protect them eyes and head!
@@forkshootertb96 😀 I knew it would ricochet so I put the glasses on , it hit the outboard then hit me 🤔 8mm steel would have to be driven at 420 plus to even do any damage to the half inch board , I'm still waiting for someone to prove me wrong on this penetration theory

TESTING PENETRATION ON TIN CANS AND PLASTIC BOTTLES SERVES NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER, WOOD HAS FIBRES WHICH BOND UNDER IMPACT TO GIVE A TRUE TEST OF PENETRATION, WATER IN MILK JUGS WILL ALSO GIVE GOOD RESULTS
Good eating if they arent pilferring your trash cans. 😅 Up north in B.C. here there are what we call the Red squirrels. They are delicious to eat as they feed only on pine nuts. 🥰 and they are huge. About a good 2 lbs. A little less than a kilo.

I'll mention that gunshop to him Glen and see if it was around when he lived there. Wow i love old vintage guns. Ive got a model 1884 US Springfield trapdoor in 45-70 govt made in 1885 in gorgeous condition. The bore slugged out to .4555" so its in awesome condition and shoots like a dream. 😊 Cheers mate!! 🍻🍻
