Thanks very much for your overview, definitely helped me to wrap my brain around the new course 🙌🏼 This is our first dopey challenge and we are coming over from Aus. I was just wondering with the new course changers, do you think it will affect the possibility of doing any rides during the marathon? It’s a big dream of ours to do dopey and try to experience a ride during the marathon but I’m not sure if this is going to be truely possible. Thanks for your awesome content, much appreciated 🙏🏼

Yes it was HOT but the humidity (which appeared Friday morning and affected the whole weekend) made being outside during the day oppressive.

As always, great video and thank you for doing these. This one hit a little different because as you were running this I took my DNS and was sick in my hotel room. Also, the music from Tomorrowland to Frontierland as epic, love it.

Nice breakdown, thanks for explaining! I also miss the highway start corrals on the marathon. That 1-2 mile walk from the party/stage area to the corrals always helped loosen me up and get my mind right.

Mixed feelings. 430am start is kind of insane to start so early-feels like an ultra needing to start so early. I’m weird-I liked ESPN and running on the track and the baseball field so I wouldn’t mind going back. I think it’ll be fine overall and excited to get back running through the magic

Great overview! It’s cool to have more of MK, but if I could choose I would add time at AK and/or HS. There isn’t much happening after AK and so many more miles to come 😔

Honestly this looks like a net positive - I was grumpy about the 4:30 start, but then realized that, y'know what, I'll be awake in plenty of time anyhow, I can never sleep well before a race! My only hope now is that I'll be able to make it to Animal Kingdom once it's open so I can take a spin on Everest :)

Good overview but you are way faster than me. (I'm a fat 60 year old with asthma) My video looks so different. It is strange seeing you run on a virtually empty course. I'm a little worried about the path from GF to MK. I think that will get congested but it may be beautiful as well. I'll miss the World Showcase victory lap. I like the 430 start and getting to Main Street a mile earlier. I may actually get there before dawn breaks. I would like it to become a night race (10:00 PM start) like the old Wine and Dine, but that will never happen. I never sleep during Dopey anyway. This will be number 6 for me. Thanks for posting this.

This was a great overview. Thank you! I’m really bummed to not have the final lap around World Showcase. That’s definitely the best finish of a marathon. You made the MK changes seem cooler than I thought. Honestly, I would welcome ESPN again. I only did it once on my first marathon in 2018. It’s the hard part of any marathon but there was a lot to look at. I didn’t appreciate it with it being my very first runDisney experience. Thank you.

Mile 12 Spectator group with UP and HM house, her name is Jennie Lee and her husband. They refer to themselves as Epic Spectating Productions.

That 5k was one of the BEST races I've ever done in 15 years of rundisney. That pre-show was 🔥🔥🔥. So good. The race of course starting on Main and being mostly in the parks was awesome. Way more characters and entertainment and photopass from Jan. It was amazing.

Yay! Another great "treadmill training video"! I really liked the music choice in the beginning. I ran the 5k and 10k without issue and was hydrated and doing good, until the disney flu got me HARD saturday night 😭 and for the second time in 14 years i took a DNS for the half. Can't wait for your half video so i can "run" the race I devastatingly missed.

I got half At wine and dine, Marathon at marathon weekend , half at princess and 10k in spring time. I’m only good for one race per weekend 😂Have a good weekend at Disneyland and Hawaii

We were on the road during the live broadcast. Training is going well here. I am doing my first full marathon locally two weeks before W&D. Combined over two weeks will be my “budget Dopey.” Wine&Dope?

I've done a few Rock n Roll races (Nashville & Savannah) and didn't like them. Oh my gosh, I was just out in Duluth last week and said I want to do Grandma's next year!
