Legends of runetera was very free to play friends, very much like how snap first was climbing the pools fast, runetera never really changed that and they've had to cut the multiplayer from the game essentially to be able to still fund the game, which made quite a lot of people drop out

Just deleted my F2P account - I just can't do it anymore, never being able to compete with paid players on near equal terms. It's an endless soul-sucking grind that I'm so glad to be done with. I wish I never started to begin with.

Boarders...something no one notices, just like emotes that people buy and I will never see because I have the opponent muted. They are testing gacha mechanics and card acquisition fomo with the diner crap right now. The players need to be worried.

How do the borders work exactly? I've yet to buy one. When you buy a border is it for only one card? (I'm guessing that's the case, good ole SD) the black looks cool, but I went from turning into a whale, to season pass-only. Don't agree with their approach to money/card acquisition. $99 transactions are pretty wild to me.

I dunno if it's good lol. 12 borders for a $100 doesn't ring very promising to me lol. But sure.

This title is deliberate click-bait. The title and thumbnail put forward that SD doesn't change locations then at 1:29 you contradict yourself. While they don't change locations often, Locations have been changed more than just Krakoa.

Yeah I don't like your opinions. I see where you're coming from, but the longer I've played the more I like the random and negative locations, because as I've climbed to the top ranks I've appreciated the truth that card games are gambling/probability games, and the random locations are good for gambling. Nowadays I pretty much hate all the "positive" fun locations I used to love, like Sinister London and Bar Sinister, and Cloning Vats. These just get abused by certain deck types and the things that normally allow different deck types to strategically compete against each other are obliterated and replaced with a one-sided matchup. These are dumb. This is why I also prefer negative locations like negative zone, most of them are only mildly abusable and give small advantages to certain decks that the players can both attempt to play around and effect their wagers. But then again I did used to love the positive locations when I was newer, so maybe the game needs both types. To me the worst location is Gamma Lab. It's basically swingy twice-over, since you have to play there to win it, but also Shang Chi automatically wins. Awful. The one thing you are partly right about is when you talk about Legion. It's not really Legion that needs to change, the way Flooding gets copied by location copy effects is unintuitive and frankly incorrect based on the wording. When Flooding gets copied (by anything) it should behave as if Storm was just played, meaning take the 1 extra turn to become Flooded.

I rather love the wildly different locations. I just don't like hot Locations. The new location for a days is fine but the random one is not needed.

I like the content. However, I disagree with a good amount of your point. There are entirely wayyy to many zones that put card into you deck/ hand. And you seem to be ok with it under the expectation of there needing to be a penalty. Well I present; why does there need to be a penalty for playing in a zone? The point of the game is to build a deck and skillfully beat the other player. But unfortunately it seems that the zones effect wayyyy too many games causing and immediate retreat as soon as the zone is exposed. I bet they keep the actual data of the real retreat per zone super closed lip. If you are so ok with the penalty for the zones then why must I build a 12 card deck. If I keep receiving extra cards why can't I build between 8-12? I very rarely get the cards I need at a good time. But as soon as a rock or vibrainium is shuffled into my deck I can only seem to draw nothing but those cards the rest of the game. You speak of fairness, your stance on it not being fair is too heavily weighted on the zones when it should be about the deck build. I tell you as soon as subtterranea, great web, dream dimension, Attilan, district X or any of the zones that want to consistently add card to my deck and hand I retreat.

I hate X mansion, and I also thought about the same cost flip to it, but like you said, it can still be very unfair. I think that just giving both players the same card would be better and more fair. I know it cuts out the "fun" of the rng, but it is still more rng that monster island, central park, and any other generator location.

Glad to see you back. I too would like to see some locations changed as some of them can basically read “you lose the game” based on your deck/matchup. But I think SD might be hard stuck on the RNG meme potential for certain locations like X-Mansion and aren’t as concerned as making the game more competitive focused.

I don't think Legion suggestion is a Legion problem. The same thing happens with Snowguard's Bear. Any location with "After this/x turn" can't be triggered again after the fact, be it the turn they showed up or the turn mentioned in the location's text. This would require SD to change the way locations trigger their abilities and honestly I think it would be for the best.

one small thing that is worth knowing/thinking about, is that if you have some boosters for one of the 3 cards in the bonus booster tab, and you have a variant of said card and the credits to upgrade it in a way that you use up those boosters, then you can get more "free" boosters in the bonus booster tab. yes this uses more credits, but if you have something where you have 48 boosters and the bonus booster tab is like "take that card to infinite" then you would only get 2 boosters for free, but if you have a variant for the same card thats at Legendary you spend most of the boosters first then get more value out of the Bonus Booster.

MAJOR TIP: If you have boosters remaining on any of the cards that show up there, check if you can use them to upgrade any of your other variants first. For example, at 5:30, he paid the credits and 38 boosters to upgrade to Infinity. BUT he could have used the 38 boosters on his other Nico variants first. You will get all the boosters you need to upgrade to the next level no matter what, once it appears in the free booster section. If you use your existing boosters first on your other variants, they will be given back to you as free when you go back to upgrade the one in rotation at that moment

I'm glad I don't really care about the cosmetic stuff as this seems so needlessly complex for how the cards look. Cool that it is better and all for those that care.

New boosters are worse. With the old boosters you get credit discounts when upgrading cards. New boosters allow you to upgrade cards you don’t have enough boosters for. So we traded credit discount for boosters. Its a loss and makes SD more money. To add another thing, for me I only get the new bonus boosters for like 1-2 cards. This is because I have an abundance of boosters for literally all my other cards. So for me its useless and I prefer the old system.

Bonus boosters have been an amazing 180. It's how I unlocked "Gold/ Gold Kirby" Baby Nova without having any boosters for maybe 2 whole splits. I wish they would stop pushing the same cards on me; "Stop trying to make Mantis happen!"

It also sucks, at least for the artgerm heroines album, is that you have to spend 5k tokens just to complete it. It takes forever to get tokens

Albums should be looked at in the same light as the online shop events that Marvel Snap does that gives your rewards on top of your purchases within a designated time span. It's just additional rewards on top of the gold you're spending for variants. This should be the case for most players that aren't whales or content creators that can easily get the pay-walled emotes and variants with their wallets. The actual value of emotes is purely subjective, but in the context of the thought process I outlined above, is completely overpriced (outside of the emotes in the albums).

Honestly I have been enjoying them, do I think they are expensive, yeah but there are a few I really want and have been saving for. Need that collector emote but I don't even. Know if it is in the game yet. The thing with the emotes is that, even if you had all you can't use all at the same time, so as long as you get the few you really want does it matter how expensive the others are? Sort of yeah as it could always be better but if I can get the ones I want reasonably then I am happy.

I mean, for the Beast Mockery one, and the Ms Minutes "why you roping?" one, for a thing you can use in every game for some solid purpose,…? I grabbed those on day one and I feel they've earned their value!

The emotes being extremely overpriced in the albums does not mean the price of the emotes isnt overpriced as well. There is no reason the emotes should be at a 30$ value just like you shouldnt spend 60-100 on album emotes. Its so greedy. Its disappointing.

I wonder if that is intentional, maybe is a coding problem, she doesnt switch jubilee as well if jubilee pulls blink right? She doesnt see GM or jubilee as played before her, she sees like at the same time or something like that

i’m pretty sure you could have also played captain marvel into grandmaster to move blink to middle and replace captain marvel.
