I knew that you were from Virginia but on someone's recent video they were talking about your wonderful floss drops and said that you were from Salem, Virginia. That brings back good memories for me. I lived in Salem about 50 years ago for about 5 years. We lived on Texas Hollow Road out in the west part of the city. Since I am a born and raised Floridian, I loved looking at the mountains every day that we lived there. Glad that your surgery took care of your pain.

It was great to meet your sister. Continue with recovery from your surgery. I have not missed my gall bladder for one second! It definitely was not collecting interest... I remember experiencing health care "from the other side" (nursing supervisor at the hospital at the time). Got back to my room at 2 PM and thought it was my duty to get up and walk. At 6 PM was up walking. Enjoy your time off from work.

How about sharing the spicy cheeseburger soup recipe? ❤ Pro tip - get a smoker for Rusty. My hubby smokes meat for his hobby and we now have a freezer full of individually portioned pulled pork, brisket, pork loin, and baby back ribs….quickie dinners!!!!!❤❤❤ Loved 4H….(I don’t remember the name of our club anymore). Knitting, crocheting, sewing, and cooking. I still have the cookbooks….50 years old….geez. 😂 Thanks for the memory flashes! Happy Turkey Day to you too! Village Sampler is the shop at my sisters in WV always a visit while I’m there. If she doesn’t have it they will order for you and I think they are doing shop shipping now. I bought about 20 or more fancy flosses while there for projects. Barefoot Needlearts is a great shop got to visit there while on vacation. Wish I could have done the retreat but was there three weeks early. You got some fantastic haul now like us all just need more stitching time.

Hi Heidi - So glad to hear that you made a visit to Clare’s Stitching Post. I live a short distance from there and so enjoy shopping there! I grew up going to a beach in Huron Oh - Nickel Plate. My aunt had a cottage there - it’s a beautiful spot of heaven! We still make that our beach destination from time to time! Love all your stitching projects and Happy Fall Stitching!

Great video! I see so many beautiful things. Maybe I should dig out my Memories of the Past chart and start it. I only have about 50 projects on the go, so what's one more? As for the white stitching, I used to hate it too until someone told me to get floche on 123 and try that. I use it on 32 count. Perfect chef's kiss white stitches with one strand of it. Just check out a video how to undo the skein if you try it, or you'll end up with it all in a rat's nest. I actually now have bought black and white floche for my Poe tier instead of DMC.
