So sorry for your loss of your Mum. May you have comfort with your sister over Christmas. Cornwell Cottage is one of my current wips and I have to say the border is a delight to stitch 🤗
Dear Heidi, I am so sorry about your Mom! I am also sorry about your kitty! I had missed you and wondered what and where you were! Lots of hugs coming to you as I sit and cry with you! Wow, you have said exactly what I was thinking…and I lost my husband two days before Thanksgiving in 2019. My heart goes out to you, and to Heidi, in all the losses. God bless you all! 🙏💙 Meline
@@mm-qm9zh Thank you. This is so kind of you. I lost my sister in 2001, my brother 2006, my dad 2007 and my mom 2014. I am fortunate I still have a sister and brother and children but holidays are extremely difficult. Hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year. I just love Heidi.
I did stumble across you today enjoyed you stitching. I too have a potty mouth...i make no promises. I am so glad that you got to be there for your mom. Talk to her and.maybe she will be with you girls at christmas my mom would come around open a drawer, smell her perfume knowing she came to visit. My heart goes out to you i lost my momma almost twenty ago.. . Hugs to you
My deepest condolences to you and your entire family. Sending light and love during this difficult period. Your stitching is beautiful on Land That I Love. I’m looking forward to seeing your WIP parade. ❤🧵🪡
Oh Heidi im so sorry about your mom. I’m making my way through your floss tube episodes and I very much enjoyed hearing the stories about her! She sounded like an amazing woman! My grandmom passed in similar fashion, she was 80 and you are never ever prepared for it. Kudos to you for trucking through. Grief is so weird so I hope you are finding comfort in your stitching and sharing with us on flosstube, you have a huge community here to support you❤
I just watched this Flosstube today and my heart goes out to you on losing your mom. There’s nothing worse!!! I lost my mom 4 years ago - i still want to pick up the phone and call her. I saw your finish Ink Circles!!! It’s beautiful. I went on Etsy and purchased Wildflowers. I need another 24 hours in my day to stitch!!!! Can’t wait to watch all your Flosstubes!!
Thank you so much for your kindness. I'm sorry for your loss as well. I'll have to look up Wildflowers. I'm sure its beautiful! They do so many pretty patterns. 😍
So very sorry for your loss Heidi. Thank you for sharing your grief, and know we are all touched and keeping you and your sister in our prayers. I like you have a lifetime of wonderful memories, and that is such a blessing. Take care of yourself!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much, Margaret. Stitching has definitely helped calm my mind and relax my brain lately. I appreciate all the love I've received thru Flosstube as well. It's been such a blessing!
I'm so heartbroken for you about your mom. The way you've spoken about her in past videos it is obvious there was so much love and admiration for your mom. 💕 That After the Roses piece.... absolutely gorgeous 😍 Cranberry house looks like a fun project. Cant wait to see how it turns out. Happy New Year to you.
Sympathies to you in the loss of your Mom. That is hard and I appreciate the process you are going through. I love that you and your sister are taking care of yourselves and spending some time together over the holidays. Enjoyed seeing all of your projects - both finishes and WIPS. Take care. Nancy
When some one you love passes I really believe that as long as you continue to remember the good times and little things she has done for you over the years she will always remain alive in your heart. This time of year can be sad for me also as my Mom's birthday is Christmas Eve, she was 96 years young when she passed. Next year will be a finishing year for me as I want to concentrate on finishing projects that have been started and are in need of attention. May the season bring you comfort and joy.
Heidi, my heart goes out to you. I lost my mom last January and I do not think you are ever prepared for that....prayers going up for you and your family. Loved seeing all your stitching. I love your Finish! I have looked at that one but I make so many mistakes in my counting that I am afraid I would make a big mess of that one. I have whittled my WIPs down to ten but I am eying some starts so who knows how many I will end up with in 2024. Merry Christmas and a blessed 2024...and Roll Tide.:)
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. Mother's are the hardest to lose, I've also suffered this huge loss myself. I'm happy you posted a new video! I love your taste in patterns and what you choose to stitch! Everything you choose, I think I add it all to my Wish List! I do! Lol! May you have the most wonderful holidays this year! Enjoy! And make time to stitch, stitch, and then stitch some more! I really look forward to your next video, as always! Thank you for making the time to record and post these!
Thank you so much, Laurie. I have been stitching quite a bit. It's been very good therapy. I'm so sorry for your loss. Wishing you peace during this time as well.
My heart goes out to you Heidi. So sorry for your loss. You always spoke of your mum with so much love - she was obviously an amazing woman. I hope you and your family have a restful holiday season. I also am working New Years Eve. So no 12 by 12 for me, unless I can con someone to take my patient load while I stitch!!
Heidi, my condolences for you and your family. I am glad you were able to be with your Mom. I'm sure she enjoyed your time together. She sounds like a wonderful woman. You will have so many memories to talk about with your sister. She will always be with you and smiling. Take care. Merry Christmas 🎄
Heudi, My sincerest thoughts and prayers to you after losing you precious Mom. Your positivity is a sign that God's grace has surrounded your heart with love and peace. This is my first time watching you and lived listening to you and seeing your lovely stitching. Hope you have a joy-filled Christmas with family.
I'm so sorry about your mom. It has been a little over a year since I lost my dad. Every day I give thanks for the close relationship we had. My parents have a couch that is now over 65 years old and has been reupholstered three times....she refuses to part with it. :) Take care.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I hope that you find joy in the memories and peace in your stitching. I am glad to see you back, even in these rough times. Merry Christmas to you!
Aww, my heart hurts so much for you & your family. I lost my dad (years ago) the week before Christmas & have an idea what the days ahead during the holidays may have in store for you. Your Mom gave you strength & an incredible sense of humor - fall back on both of them when you need! I think It's the most amazing way to honor her! - If she had a sense of humor similar to yours ( and mine), I bet she wants you to have that couch of hers knowing how super comfy it is & how much you love it! lol. -
I didn’t have my bell clicked so I’ve only just seen this vlog. 😢Ahh hun, so sorry to hear your news. 😔 We’re going through a similar scenario with my Mum at the moment, and we know it’s only a matter of time now. So full empathy from this side of the pond. Loved the Ink Circles piece 👌🏻
I'm sorry to hear about your mom. It's so hard watching them become a shell of their former self. Bless you and Brom for watching and reaching out. Love you both! ❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. It's hard regardless of what time of the year it is, but it just seems worse at the holidays. I lost my mom 27 yrs ago and it is still hard at times. Please take all the time you need to grieve and get things settled we will be here when you are ready. With that said I hope you can have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. ((Hugs))
Oh, Heidi, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. When I saw the title of this flosstube episode, I feared the worst but was hoping I was mistaken. I know the time you spent with your mom before her passing was special to you both. I'm sorry, too, about your almost cat. You had just opened your heart and home to him, but I guess the lure of the outside was too much once he started feeling better. I'm hoping he will change his mind and return. I know this will be a difficult holiday season for you, but I hope you enjoy spending time with your sister reminiscing about your mom. I'm wishing much healing for you in the coming year. ❤
I also wanted to add that I had ordered some #10 short blunt beading needles for over one and smaller count fabric. (I haven't tried one yet since the wrong ones were delivered so I'm going to order from somewhere else). I'm an in hand stitcher, but am still as slow as molasses. Finally, don't feel as if you need to take your WIPs off the snaps or iron them. It's a nice touch, but certainly not necessary. Take care.
Thank you for the needle idea, I may try that. I did find size 28 needles and those have been working well for the 40ct fabric. But the one piece I have on 46 ct, not quite as well. Maybe these will work. Thanks again for your kind words and idea!
Hello from Tennessee! Big hug to you!! 💙💙 So very sorry to hear about your mom. Very happy to see you again.
