About Consider the Lilies- each of those motifs I consider a finish!!! I'm starting 2 Haeds and 1 Contemporary Cross! Whew!
Not a fan of planners! Happy for those that like them but I just can't see me spending time filling them out and then what? Throw them out?
A Contemporary Cross? I'll have to look that one up! If it's as involved a a HAED, then my goodness! I love my HAED, but I sure couldn't stitch more than one at a time. Of course, I say that now and I have at least 3 more HAED charts in my possession...but I think they're all minis. Something about planners are a sick compulsion for me. Maybe they'll just be something I can carry around with me as a shuffle about the nursing home someday, muttering to myself. Haha! Thank you for spending time with me! Happy stitching!

If I was going to Minnesota I’d stop in at Welcome Stitchery in Blue Earth Minnesota. I plan on heading that way next time I go home to Iowa. They also have a floss tube and are fun to watch.

Love the video. I always wanted a dehydrator to make my own jerky but never did. Maybe I'll put one on the Christmas list. I love your projects, so beautiful. I am resisting as I have other things on my plate right now. When I had cats, they would bring me their treasures, they did not understand why I didn't appreciate them. I am still bobbinating for storage. I agree that the winding and unwinding is annoying but I have a plan. Hope it works :). Your mom's bags are awesome but it is nice that you are supporting other crafters. If I ever get organized I want to try and make all the things. Have a great weekend!
Thank you, Lorraine! I agree, I'm definitely sticking with bobbins for DMC storage. I keep the ring of bobbins in the project bag and measure off 5 - 6 strings at a time for a floss drop. We'll see how long I stick with this method. Ha! I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well!

Looks perfect. I am almost so ready to start this. I did pull it out today. I think the main thing that is keeping me from starting it right now is that it can’t be stitched on Aida, and I am an Aida girl. I think the fabric I chose is 28ct. I think I can manage that…..anyway, loved your video as always. Your projects look awesome.
Thank you so much! Let me know how it goes on Aida. I wasn't certain how to try it with Aida, this piece is what prompted me to figure out linen. It wasn't a big change at all, just more counting. There are lots of good tutorials out there to give you the basics if you find it's not working out with the Aida cloth. Good luck! Keep me posted!

I’m doing Poison Garden 😁 💀 yes - hideously expensive but David bought it for my 50th birthday last year and the flosses all finally showed up a couple of weeks back. (Supplier had issues with Gloriana or Rainbow Gallery delivering).

Every so often I see a big old possum waddling down the back pathway on my camera and I wonder if it was that same critter. Ha! I have a freeze dryer from Harvest Right. It's not the same as a dehydrator. Same concept, different process and much better results! There are tons of videos on YT to check out if you're interested. Thank you for watching! Happy stitching!

Just found your channel. Loved it!! I have a Fold-i-go lamp that I use for retreats. I live in Texas and we have bunches of them! What brand is your light?
Thank you! I'm glad you found me! My lamp is just some little generic battery powered/rechargeable lamp I found on Amazon. In theory, it lasts 10 hours per charge. I haven't tested it out just yet, so we will see! If it's less than I think I'll need, I'll definitely check out the Fold-i-go. Thank you for the tip! Happy stitching!

Hello, Jacqueline! I have purchased 46 ct Cappuccino linen from Fiber on a Whim for Consider the Lilies. I couldn't find the color I was looking for in 40 ct, and settled for this one to try. It's such a big piece, I may regret trying the 46ct (I've never stitched on 46 before). I'll find out soon enough! Will you be starting this piece too? Thank you for watching!
Yes I have all the thread and ready to go but I can guarantee you for sure it is not 46 count. 8 can't remember what it is except I do believe it is 32. I have already been working on eye on the sparrow. Close to having top half done. I like 36 but those are such big pieces to stitch
You have me curious about the freeze dried food. Is a food dehydrator the same thing as a freeze dryer? What kind did you purchase?
Hello, Gretchen! No, a freeze dryer is not the same as a food dehydrator. I got my FD from Harvest Right. There's all kinds of videos on YT about FD food! The food retains almost all of it's nutrients with freeze drying and it's not hard as a rock! The flavor really seems to be enhanced and, if stored properly, the food can last up to 25 years.
