Fantasia e Fuga sobre o Aleluia "Pascha nostrum" by Jorge A. Barbosa
The Fantasy and Fugue on the Alleluia "Pascha nostrum" is the only composition for organ by Jorge Barbosa. It was written in Rome in 1992. It was mainly the result of the experience of treating the Fugue form from a modal perspective. Hope you enjoy!

Não me surpreende a beleza, a qualidade e o nível desta obra pois conheço bem a sua música e "estilo" do P. Jorge Alves Barbosa ! A sua capacidade para a composição é extraordinária resultando em coisas "mirabolantes". Fico feliz por teres percebido e assimilado bem a obra pois penso que vai completamente ao encontro daquilo que o compositor idealizou quando a decidiu escrever! Engraçado, parece ter havido uma sincronização entre o pensamento e a execução, dando lugar a um resultado brilhante! Muitos parabéns! A tua seneridade é incrível... Eu creio que o P. Joaquim dos Santos gostaria muito da tua interpretação. Agora, esta obra que ele apresenta com sendo para Órgão Ibérico, não de adequa propriamente a tal instrumento como podes verificar facilmente. Mas não fica nada mal, pelo contrário, num bom órgão sinfónico. Penso mesmo que a tua inclusão do Pedal é oportuna bem como as cambiantes de registação. Esta obrinha, já escrita por J. Santos já muito perto do final da sua vida e quando o Giampaolo di Rosa se dedicava à execução das obras dele como tinha feito com o "Tríptico" de Manuel Faria, é bem uma imagem da personalidade e da música dele; um tanto eclética, experimental, por vezes um pouco desigual no estilo como acontece aqui no Coral.
Muito obrigada pelo seu comentário! Eu primeiro antes de escolher esta registração tentei fazê-la num órgão ibérico mas por alguma razão não me estava a soar como queria, faltava mais cores para responder à escrita do compositor, na minha opinião. Assim sendo, tentei então num órgão sinfônico com mais possibilidades e acho que resultou muito bem!

Hi there, very capable person for DIY assembly. I have a few queries if you have time. Thanks. I don't see any real stop knobs or tabs, so they are all vitual on the computer? In your connections diagram, there're no connections from the two expression pedal outputs. Would they need to go to the midi unit? I don't see any speakers, where are they? Does the same builder build the table stand to put the manuals on and the bench? 😊

No, the expression pedals are together with the pedal, the expression pedals come with the cables and you only need to connect them to the pedalboard! don't see any speakers, where are they? I don't use speakers because I live in a flat, but it's ready to connect speakers if I want to! Yes the builder made the bench, console support etc
