One of my favourites in the garden - lavenders!💜 They are extremely heat and drought-tolerant flowering plants. Super low maintenance as well. Gorgeous colour that mess well with almost everything. What’s not to love about them…lol! If you don’t already have them planted in your garden, I highly recommend!

is it okey to ask where you are or what zone are you? thank you
its beautiful, your garden is my cup of tea... what did you use when you first built where all your pots are sitting? what type of weed block did you use? thank you
Hello💏💏💏💏💪✌🌲🍇🌷🌻friends me So much more🐕🐎🗝🌵🌵🌵🐦🐳🐺🐱
What a coincidence...... I'm experiencing the same issue with my Violas and pansies. Grew them last year for the first time. They popped up again in many of my deck planters so I consolidated into one. They just got leggy but I was so surprised they made it through that intense heat of the last couple weeks. Anyway I just chopped them back and was wondering if you could let me know how yours did? Thank you so much💚
Jasmina rose is more of the pinky color, are you sure this is Jasmina?
Hi Amy, your garden is gorgeous! beautiful color combo!
😮Around 19:00....I have never seen anyone dig a plant out of a bed as easily as that. I am incredibly jealous of your soil💚
And I’m looking for white colore. Any plants. I m looking. For White salvia. Do you do salvia from seeds. Florida.
Оso smart bravo 👏. About water bottles- coming Pricy. Florida
Flower Garden beautiful.. 😭🥰🥰😁😘😘🌹💐
❤❤❤Amy your gadern is performing well regardless you faced some challenges while growing some seeds that turned out to be the flowers you donot like
I love the self talk while you garden.❤
I love your garden. Love love love it. I'm inspired.
Amy you've got to hard prune those petunias as they grow...that applies to any possible leggy plant. Also it really does depend on what company you're ordering seeds from to truly get a good quality product. Where are you located?
Thank you for your feedback. I have pruned the petunias that is this video, maybe about 3 weeks ago. Waiting to see if they will bush out or not. I have grown petunias in the past, not started from seeds but from local garden centers. Although they are gorgeous and come in different colours, I find them high-maintenance AND they tend to get infested with a lot of pests. This year I thought I’d give them another go but ya, probably will not be growing them again. I’m in Ontario, Canada.
Thank you ❤ I subscribed . Love your garden
Thank you for the love and support!🥰
I just stumbled upon this video and will be subscribing to your channel! I love the variety in your garden, and I REALLY love that a lot of them seem to be in pots. I have a full sized garden as well as a million containers, and I love the flexibility of being able to swap them out and move them around as needed. Plus, despite the extra work in terms of watering, I like being able to adjust the care of a plant depending on its specific needs. Water loving plants next to drought tolerant ones, for example.
Exactly why I also love to create my garden in pots. How long have you been gardening in this style? I’m quite new:)
@@ContainerGardeningWithAmy Only a few years, but every year I keep adding more like a true addict! It's definitely something to budget a little extra for, especially because plants outgrow their pots, and you have to change/add soil every now and then. But I find it so fulfilling. I'm even trying a few young trees/shrubs in pots this year, and I hope regular pruning can help keep their size down.
@@katrinaelle7774 I love your remark, “…like a true addict”. So true!🤣 But also true is how fulfilling it is to grow a wonderful garden full of beautiful flowers, and to watch pollinators come to visit. I support your addiction 100%! Happy gardening!🥰
Is the pink rose that is so tall on the arbor, grown in a pot. It is stunning. Please show the name of it.
The pink climbing rose growing on my pergola is called Jasmina. She’s grown in the ground.
Yes, I enjoy it. Your garden has given me a lot of ideas.
Thank you for watching my video. Glad you found it helpful🥰
Your garden is beautiful. Please cut the music. It was very hard to hear you. Thx. Could you also show the names of the plants and roses.
Thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate the feedback. I used to show the names of all the plants in my videos but this process take way too long as my collection has grown and I just don’t have the time to spend on editing in such a way. Editing already takes me forever as is, if I add names, I’d never get it done…lol! If you’re interested in a certain plant/plants, send me a quick message and I’d be happy to respond back. Thank you for your understanding!
Absolutely stunning! I love your beautiful garden! Looks beautiful and relaxing. 🌺
Thank you!🥰🥰🥰
I could not get my African Daisy to flower. #2
Which type did you grow?
Thanks Amy I am growing Vinca from seed for the first time and so excited.
Yay! It’s so exciting to be able to grow plants from seeds!🙌🏼
Lovely walk through your garden.
Thank you!
I just moved to my home and I am establishing my garden. I planted a climbing rose, two knockout roses and a hybrid tea rose - all four are riddled with sawflies 🙄 - I'm treating them with insecticide and neem oil. How do you deal with pests on your roses? Thank you for sharing your garden by the way! I absolutely love it!
Thank you for watching my video! ❤️❤️❤️ I normally try my best to avoid using chemicals in my garden as I get quite a bit of pollinators that come to visit. From my personal experience, sawflies will create unsightly holes on the leaves but this does not harm the plant in any way. If the damages are just cosmetic in nature, I will leave it be. If the pest damages are harmful to the plants or if it starts to impact the flower buds etc, I normally spray with a homemade spray of neem oil mix. I hope this helps! Happy gardening!🥰
@@ContainerGardeningWithAmy It helped immensely! I appreciate your response and I look forward to your videos! 😍
@@katiaotero5273 Thank you for the support and love!🥰
Hi, #9 is Candytuft
Do you know if maybe you could have pinched the varieties you didn't care for to keep them shorter and bushier ? I didn't hear you mention what #9 was ? Thank you 😍
A plant/flower that has 2 or more negative attributes will likely not return to my garden. Sometimes it’s just not it being tall and floppy that got it cut from my list. Thank you for your suggestion!🥰🥰🥰
Please tell us where you got that globe plant cover that covers your pansies (it’s at 1:18)
I purchased this black metal ornamental piece at Home Sense. They come in different sizes and also different colours.
What size pots do you use?
All different sizes depending what type of plants I am planting. Plants that are expected to grow quite large will be planted in a bigger pot. Plants that are on the smaller size will be planted in a smaller pot. I hope this helps!
The garden is full of beautiful plants and flowers. It is a joy to see various types of flowers and plants.
Thank you so much!
So much color I love it 😻
Omg, I love this❣️ This is my style type gardening. 👩🏽🌾🪴
Yay to crazy wild gardens!🥰
Please no music if you are talking please. 1:58
Hi Amy! Love all your flowers and clean up ideas. I do have forget me nots that are about 12" tall now. the shorter variety is long gone. I forget which is which. It seems the nurserys areound me have flowering plants but they seem tired and on the way out .... maybe I can rescue some. My garden could use more color now too.... great share!
Does your taller (12”) forget-me-not come back for you every year? I’m hoping mine will as it is labeled as “perennial” on the package. You’re absolutely right about plants looking quite wilted and tired at this time of the year at some nurseries. At the big box stores they started looking bad even at the beginning of June! There’s 3 local garden nurseries close to me that does an amazing job maintaining their stocks. They are definitely my ‘go to’ places to shop. Thank you for watching!❤️ Happy gardening!
Divide your Alliums.
I’m assuming you’re referring to my Millennium Alliums? How often should they get divided? They are 2nd year in my garden.
Yes I was as you were complaining they had fewer flowers last year. I have three clumps which are getting bigger and I have not noticed any difference in the flowering. But dividing can help most plants. I don't know your garden yet so it is hard to say. Crowded? Under watered? Not enough nutrients? We can only try! @@ContainerGardeningWithAmy
Your roses are just beautiful. They have been my favourites all my life. Thank you for the tour, that lavender one is gorgeous.
Thank you!❤️ I’ve always liked roses but in the last few years they have quickly become my absolutely favourite in my garden. I wish I had more space to plant more!😊
Wow!!! I love how you has mastered the arts of germinating seeds and propagating plants 🤗💚
Thank you for the words of encouragement!🥰 My journey to learning how to start plants from seeds has been a long one…lol! Failed for years, but I think I finally got it…woohoo!😁
Gorgeous garden, Amy! I was going to ask how you keep all of the containers watered but when reading all the comments I saw that you replied to someone that you hand water all of the containers. How do you manage to access all of them to water so the foliage doesn't get wet or is that not so important? I would love to start doing more container gardening and knowing how you manage to care for so many container plants would be very helpful!
For my containers in the middle section, it is not too difficult to water them without having to water overhead, avoiding for the most part, getting the the leaves wet. I am able to access the pots from both sides, making it quite easy to accomplish this. Also, I do try to water early in the morning on sunny days. This will allow amble time for the leaves to dry if they do happen to get wet. Lastly, I've purchased a watering wand that is fairly long, this allows me to reach quite far, and on top of this I have long arms...lol! I hope this helps! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment🥰
@@ContainerGardeningWithAmy Thank you for replying so quickly Amy! You shared very helpful information for me. I'm so glad I discovered your channel and look forward to watching every video you film.

Wow, my Jasmina is more peachy colored and performs fantastically but I am now wondering if what I was sent is really Jasmina as the color is so very different than yours.
This year I purchased 8 new roses, 3 of which are not the same colour as on the label of the plant. This has happened to me a few times in the past as well. Sometimes it’s a pleasant surprise (we end up liking it anyways) but sometimes it’s a total disappointment as it’s not what we wanted to order.
@@ContainerGardeningWithAmy After researching more on Jasmina I am certain I have the wrong one though gorgeous. So now to reorder Jasmina as it looks like one I MUST have. Yours is absolutely stunning!
@@FlowerPatchFarmhouse Thank you!🥰 Jasmina did take awhile to get established in my garden. It’s probably now her 5th year, but she’s so worth the wait! I hope she comes back next year the same, if not even better.
You should curl the snapdragons to the 2nd lowest leaves and they will REbloom for you . Mine even overwintered from last year
Do you mean that they will produce additional flowering spikes if curled as you’ve mentioned? Interesting! I might try that for the ones planted in my pots. Thank you for sharing!🥰
Thank you
I love watching the maintenance and planting of gardens. That is how you learn the most tips. You see how other gardeners think and it makes you consider your own garden differently. I like your idea of zinnias in pots so you can move them to the bare areas when needed. I usually plant near my roses so when roses are not in bloom it looks like they are blooming from a distance.
Thank you for sharing your tip using zinnias with roses. Good idea! You’ve made a good point about learning from watching other gardeners with maintenance and such. I will bare that in mind for future videos. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Much appreciated!🥰
What a beautiful collection of flowers.
Thank you so much!🥰
I am a beginner gardener and would love to see the maintenance and plantings . Would also like to know what pots you use for container gardening
I also consider myself a beginner gardener, learning from trial and errors:) Thank you for the feedback. Really appreciate it! As for your question regarding which pots I use…any pots I have on hand! I usually save a lot of the large nursery pots from my purchases. I use a lot of those. Aside from these I do like to use terracotta or ceramic pots. These pots are for plants that are more visible in my display. I hope this helps! Thank you for watching!❤️
Scrambled MESS! All lined up like little soldiers...amature....so cluttered ...looks horrible!
You’re right, I am an amature gardener!😊 The “scrambled mess” is my own personal unique style, sorry it’s not your cup of tea.🤷🏻♀️ Thank you for watching anyways! Have a wonderful day!
Unless you are a profession gardener getting paid, we are all amateurs! Gardening is my hobby and I've been doing it for a very long time. Still officially an amateur. Practice practice practice. 😂
Where are you located?
I’m located in Ontario/Canada.
I love your garden.
Thank you!🥰
First time I've watched your channel. Lovely garden.
Thank you so much!❤️
That painted daisy is a beautiful colour. Why not use it amongst other plants that will prop it up for you?
I tried that for awhile but it was still way too messy for me. I was still constantly re-arranging and propping it up, trying to keep it in check. I don’t particularly like plants that require too much maintenance as they take away my time from other gardening chores.
My lambs ears flowered and it was quite pretty.
I added mine last year, so far it has not flower for me yet. I’m still sitting on the fence whether I will keep the flowers or not when it blooms. I had no idea they spread so fast…lol! Good thing though, they are easy to remove if/when they grow too large.😊
What is the name of the lilies that were white with the yellow centers
Sorry, I don’t know the exact name as it was purchased from Costco in a variety pack. I believe it might be part of the “STARGAZER - Oriental Hybrid” combo. Hope this helps!
