Cooking with mushrooms that were grown outside, soaked and washed in saltwater to get the bugs and dirt off and out, then frozen, (Watch part 1 for that) without them turning to mush or losing their flavor. Press out as much water as you can with a towel before freezing, then defrost in cool water, bring to a boil, lower heat to medium, cook for 5 mins, then lower to med low for 10 mins. They s...

What is the advantage of the scoring method compared to planting seed directly into mix?
The seed will germinate quicker if you score it. It allows the seed to absorb water more quickly, which tells the plant to begin to grow.

Ok cool. I actually just planted my first seeds today, straight to soil. If they don’t work I’ll definitely try this method. Thanks and great video.

That looks so good. Why do you kook the spices in the beginning like that? When they turn black. Does it make it more flavorful? I love the cooking pot also. I want to make my own cooking pots and for fermenting as well.
@@popesfoodmedicine Yeah, definitely. When the spices are first roasted, they develop a rich taste, color, and aroma, enhancing the overall flavor of the dish. Nice appetite!😋👌 Note - Don't roasted too much. 😉
