i need more information man!!!!
воздух в топливной системе.. надо смотреть резиновые уплотнения
How did you like the clutch on that truck? I'm in a K27 1996, with max travel kit, fuel plate delete, homemade afc live, 5x14's, 4K GSK, 18* of timing. We estimate 400-425hp 1000-1100tq based on other similar builds. This truck is my daily. It's a dually and I do tow with it occasionally after turning the afc down with my controller (needle valve under the dash). Sometimes it is up to 20k behind the truck though most of what I tow is in the 5-10k range. My last clutch I tried was an ebay organic single disk 13". Honestly I cant complain about the holding power. I had the same fuel on a HX35 on that clutch for 40k miles. I dogged it sometimes but not burnouts and clutch dumps. After the k27 install I started to have too much fun and DID do a clutch dump right after I installed the new turbo. Clutch hasn't been the same since. I had to turn my AFC down to half in order to get by without slipping it. I don't want to really hurt my towing and daily capabilities by throwing in an all ceramic clutch. I actually work at a manual transmission shop where N4500 is bread and butter. I have driven single and dual disk organics of various types as well as Ceramics but I still have no real experience behind the wheel towing and daily driving with a Dual friction clutch disk. Do you have any advice? Thanks
Please tell us If you find the problem, 🙏
What is the solution for fixing this kindly share
Same things going on with my om606 I’ve done everything you listed except o rings on shut off valve and pre filter (doubt it’s the issue) a bad cylinder was my next guess but I doubt it, exhaust reeks of diesel, If I crack the fuel fitting on the far back cylinder it clears up
Ever fix this?
Holy shit this is fast
Running a fuel plate or AFC live or something?
Ever fix this? I have fairly simmilar symptoms on mine.
Did you ever fix yours ?
@@dexterj490 nope. still a broken pos. ive swapped injectors, checked timing, replaced delivery valve o rings and washers. im at a loss. part of me is thinking head gasket now but i have no clue.
@@metalmann18375 kind of makes me think it’s your pre chambers
@@metalmann18375 now is it fixed?
I have excess fuel being used you put your hand at the end of the exhaust and you will get misted by un used diesel.i have air in 1 fuel line and i have this issue.my return line is dry rotted .i ll get it swapped out.and i am about to get the glow plugs changed.after that i will have the pump serviced with new gromets for all plastic fuel lines.hopefully this will fix it.
That dyno is pointless for a diesel lol
I love how clean it runs sounds bitchen too
What type of torque converter? Were you in park or neutral?
Goerend 15ss triple disc, I'm not sure what the issue was but Goerend cut it open and checked it and sent it back under warranty. They didn't say what they did but the first time I didn't install the thin spacer with the flexplate but I did the second time. I'm assuming the noise was in the torque converter and not because I didn't install the factory spacer because I don't think it's required. This video was taken while it was in park but it made the noise in any trans position and I could hear over the engine.
finally, a video of a drag race and not 15 mins of talking and then shitty music to cover up the sound of the truck. thumbs up!
Was the flex plate the issue?
It was the torque converter, I sent it back to Goerend and they repaired it.
Fire ring heads/gasket?
Just ARP studs, never had an issue.
Stock pistons ? Limited with timing, I wouldn't go much more than low 20s for the inj timing. Marine 12v pistons have a much bigger bowl.
What gears are you running??
Hey I know this is from a while ago but the s467.7 t4 on your 12v Cummins how was it for daily use I’ve had a lot of people say don’t do but I see how well it performs in your vids don’t look like it’s laggy under light rpm I was thinking either a single s467.7 or some sort of twins just wanting to see how you felt about it being a cool dd and play turbo
What case was on the go pro? Water proof or the other one?
Arp head studs?? With stock head gasket?
What's your boost at?
getting an s364sxe from a buddy soon for my 97. how do you like your 5x16? i'm debating on 5x16 or 5x14. Does yours get hot? Mine is a Daily so i need good drivability and need good fuel economy, but want to be able to have fun when i want.
What is the specs on that charger? Drivability seems great.
schmbrt96 It's a T4, .90 A/R exhaust housing.
You ever put it on the dyno I’m thinking of dropping charger size but still want to be around 700-750
schmbrt96 I did not, but I will say it was still considerably slower than my compound turbo 12 that dynoed 642.
4 or 5 inch exhaust and is it the stock manifold
5" with aero turbine muffler and stock manifold.
Nice setup over all, well balanced and street friendly
Thanks for shooting the video! It is so nice to see how certain combo actually drive. I am echoing the other posters on here, could we get you to shoot some more shots that show rpm, boost and speedo? Thanks again for a great video!
Any idea what it made on the dyno with this set up?
Would you go with a s369sxe or a s467.7?
Lincoln Meckes 369
any info on this truck?
I just love how a well built and timed 12 valve can run so clean through town. Even with the larger injectors and pump upgrades you have, the truck runs clean and efficiently and i just respect the hell out of a good clean 12 valve build! Love it!
how much torque?
It was an unloaded dyno, so it only made 950 torque. It made max power at 3550 rpms, it would have done more on a loaded dyno.
How much $$$ does it take to do that!?!?!?
@@JaySims All of them.
Dude I live in Weaverville Nc too.
What AR on the 63? Standard .88 open scroll it comes with?
This is a T3 internally wastegated 14CM housing, not sure of the AR.
+apwcu oh wow your running a T3? That's surprising, they usually have a .80AR with that housing. Switch to a T4 with T4 manifold trust me it's much much better and faster spooling due to volume of exhaust gases moving over the turbine.
What size tip you running
Nice truck
Sounds bad ass. Props on not flipping the tow mirrors up.
What’s wrong with you dudes that hate the dodge mirrors flipped up? You would know if you driven a dodge that the mirrors folded down suck ass and you can’t see very well
@@joshuacastillo4351 I have a 3rd gen, and my bro has a 2nd gen with those mirrors. They're just fine, without being flipped up. Lol
Any chance you can do some gauge shots while driving? Like put the go pro on the window so I can see RPM can boost and speed on acceleration and such?
any numbers yet? how does it do towing
+Lance Gibbs I haven't had it on the dyno. I'm waiting on some bigger injectors then I may see what it can do. I haven't towed anything heavy yet but I don't think I would have any issues as long as it's nothing crazy.
Alright thanks don't know if you remember me I had the green 2wd 12 valve right beside you at this event....it's coming to life this season
Timing is set to around 21*. I have added arp headstuds and the head has never been off. I plan to pull the head soon to oring it so I don't have any problems down the road.
What timing is on this truck
Holy fuck!
Do you only have studs or orings to? Any head gasket problems? Plan on doing twins in the next couple months don't want to blow a HG
How do you like that turbo?
+Trent Parrott I like the turbo, have put a few miles on it and it does better than I expected on a 12v.
dude ur in weverville nc I am in Leicester like 15 mins away i got a 93 cummins with no bed that's black
+mud master im in Raleigh. I have a 98.5 cummins
well this video was taking in weverville nc and some of ur other videos tooo
Where is weverville. Must be small
What clutch did you have single or dual disc?
Do some acceleration video plz
haha I own this car now. thanks for the video
