In Germany you go to prison for the way you hunt. Trap hunting is strictly prohibited and bobcats are protected by law. Differnet countries, different hunting. Dont get me worong. I'am a hunter myself-

On my 220 conibear I use bread wrapper ties in that space, between the trigger and the bar that is holding it onto. It tightens it up a little, but it does affect the performance of the trap.

Do you use the bobcat meat in your boxes. Up here in Alberta. I use lynx meat perfect bait

Most sets with conibears in most states can't be less than 4 ft off ground your lucky in your state

do you have to "weather" the boxes when you make them out of plywood??? built some and put them out last weekend w/ no luck on any species. wondering if the odor of the plywood is an issue???

In Alabama we can only use a 155, 5x5 on land. Can you trap bobcats with a box set like this with a 155 conibear?

when me and my grandpa used to trap, the bobcats were always the toughest to figure out haha. we used mainly foot traps so it was real tedious on how and where you set the trap at in relation to the scent hole.most memorable catches were a double set where we caught two blonde coyotes next to each other. also the coal black two that we caught. should of mounted the coal black ones but they got sold for a few pennies haha thats how it seemed anyway. not very much money in it around here. was something to do and it "paid" for itself so
