I literally did the same things he did (multiple harnesses, head units, ect.) and I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. watched this video and thought "it couldn't be that simple" well sure enough it was and now I'm enjoy the tunes in my car again. Unfortunately, connecting the blue antenna wire to the 12 volt power wire did not fix my problem. I still only have one speaker working when the rest are connected.

This only works if your vehicle has a power antenna btw.

Wow, thank you so much for creating this video. I saw that auto antenna wire and I deliberately left it disconnected because I don’t have an auto antenna, so I figured why would I connect it? Going to give that a try I think it should work.

Thanks for the information, I did as illustrated and it work but after about 5 minutes, the radio just went dead and even the factory radio won’t come on either, seems no power is being supply to the radio. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?

Would this work for a bmw z4.2003? We installed an aftermarket radio and got no sound and apparently the amp is the issue. We tried several aftermarket radios and then finally reinstalled the factory radio but some how now i lost my "aux mode" so no more Bluetooth capabilities 😢😮. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated 😊

Same thing happened to me, I just put all the blues together worked like a champ . Blue for the aerial blue for the sub in the boot and the blue for the in car amplifier.

good job but dont use the red wire hook it up to blue wire amp on wire may be called power antenna wire that way does not come on till you turn radio on

If you do this and fix it, it's a great idea to check under the back side of the driver's seat for broken wires too because the broken wires are what caused it to ground out in the first place. This was only half the fix for my issue in my 09 Lincoln Navigator
