Hey I have a question I have one of these but I don't know how to make him play is there a button or sensor somewhere

@Katielol243 The only thing you need is the chord that came with him and there's a rotation switch on the back of his booty you have to scroll to the right when you have him plugged in. He's only electric and only is able to turn on once you turn that switch on the back of his left boot which if you're looking at him will be on your right side.

@@RyneTaulbee It's definitely a preference. No one says that one is better than the other but I will say that the design of the new is more cleaner in my personal opinion.

@@Z-Man-lz Excatlyyyyyyyyy it is literally the most annoying thing to me. Honestly, I should make an updated video of this one because I still wanna bring it to people's attention. It's something all collectors struggle with probably more than anything else

Hello! Thank you so much for the compliments! I really wish I had bought the TRY ME button. Unfortunately I did not but I think it's so cool Home Depot is offering that option now. I wish that they gave them out to the public with every purchase of an animatronic. I will give Gemmy credit, they always put buttons with their products unlike SVI and PAC.

I think deep down you are right. Based on past prototypes and things we have seen from Gemmy, it almost seems like they haven't lost their quality. I think personally that the buyers from these retail companies are the issue with why Gemmy has unfortunately failed to show their true greatness again. Back in the day products were cheaper and material was easier to buy. So at this point I'm thinking Gemmy has to make last minute props in order to meet sales for the season. I think if Gemmy keeps it up and these companies see what the consumer wants, there's a chance we'll see Gemmy make a comeback. They still are great but I just don't think they have had that opportunity to be great in a long time

I know right? I mean over all he's still incredible! I just wish that there were some songs. The best example is that deluxe Santa that AtHome sold last year. He sang three songs and had either three or four sayings. Overall I am satisfied but could've used just a couple of improvements

@@bozo1118 Very good valid points! Especially the voice. I will admit the voice is different and a bit too high for me. The overall design however is very nice. Only I would say I can either take or leave the white going down. I understand completely why you would want such a design I think it would look good too! The singing I agree because I'm like you in some ways, I think it helps this guy stand out. The cowboy version was like that and both are very well designed

@@nicolecastillo5528 I unfortunately believe that he is meant to not sing anything. I have no idea why they said he sings when he doesn't. Mine unfortunately doesn't either which leads me to believe it's not an error it's just a description error. Overall still a very gorgeous Santa and still worth it in my opinion! I'm definitely keeping mine.

Well, considering that it's not singing that sounds like a factory error in my book. What you could do is buy the new one at AtHome and then you could dress it up in the original outfit. It's the exact same skeleton and build just a different suit

@@DISstockmagic That is a very tricky question. Considering it can be hard to match such a theme to a corn maze. However, based on what I do, I can say that the Martian Warrior might probably look the best. I do an alien/ SI-FI theme every year and he really does looks good next to the aliens that I set up. I think it'll look even better once I get more alien stuff out. However I would stick with something that kinda brings the SiFi theme out and compliments him in his own field.

@@gemmybonez459 thanks so much for your comment based on your experience! My garage “bay” has a black backdrop with the moon and clouds, and the walls will have corn stalks on them. So kinda an outdoor-y theme. I agree that Martian warrior would look so amazing next to him, if not just leaving THD by himself in the corner. I’d really like to see your alien sci fi Halloween set up sometime!

I know! It's actually really cool they brought it back but I'm shocked I haven't seen it in stores yet.

So they implemented a sensor but unfortunately it is a sound sensor and only goes off with loud noises or clapping.

I 100 percent agree with you! I think this is probably my second favorite, the cowboy being my third, and the first is the one that was sold at AtHome last year with the lantern. I definitely think that the very first original one was definitely the best. It has the best voice and traditional design overall. I'm so happy you enjoyed the unboxing

@@bigdaddysherwood Unfortunately these guys had no motion sensors on them. As of this video I sold mine off because I had other ideas. They have sound sensors and try-me buttons. That's about it.

In dude at some point, we have to talk because I found something very special that I wanna show you. And when I say special, I mean something really rare that you probably wish you even had. This is the most rarest item I think I have. I actually have two rare items now.

I am honestly shocked they have not done that yet. I've been waiting for it but I still have yet to see anything as such. I would love to see what they could do with a servo Santa. I'm crossing my fingers that it comes at some point.

He sadly broke on me and I was never able to figure out what happened. Otherwise, now I have this one and the cowboy which I am beyond happy with. I just can't believe how well crafted this one is. We definitely needed something like this

@@dalegribble8140 I've heard a lot of different things here as of lately. I think one of the things is that the copyright for the theme song is quite expensive now and if not that I've also heard they don't sell the theme off like they used to. It makes no sense to me either. The body movements and appearance aren't bad at all but unfortunately like you said the theme is missing and I don't know why. It's upsetting so I'm still hoping we'll get something at some point

@@sivvitytech3118 Mine is unfortunate a little busted up. I got lucky on eBay and managed to find this thing for the price that I did. Overall definitely a good animatronic. I am open to collabs if the time is right. I do also work so I'm unfortunately not always available

If you probably notice lol not only that I think I still have you on somewhere but I wonder if there’s any of these on eBay right now? wouldn’t it be cool if it had a motion sensor so when you walk by it it will go off.

@@sivvitytech3118 It's definitely something to consider! We would need continuous communication however. So if you have me on insta or snap that would help a lot! Also, in regards to this guy, it really would be cool for a sensor of some sort to actually be implemented. I really do love this guy. I think the sensor would just add even more to it

@@ElijahBrown-l3n Compared to most Gemmy Santa's this one is definitely over the top. I absolutely love him and I love the voice. Like you, I'm so happy they are just improving them more every year instead of cheating out like a lot of these companies do. Overall such a great piece of work by SVI.

@@anetaczarnocka5935 Now that sounds like a real good plan! This guy really is incredible and I absolutely love the design. Overall this is a solid Santa and I'd say everyone should get him if possible!

I have no idea how they could execute every detail but over all it's definitely an amazing life size and it could definitely be a cool tabletop concept. The over all design is just gorgeous on this guy. I'd say the design is definitely overall the best we have received

@@robotortoise I definitely thinking we're living in another sort of golden age of animatronics. This one is a good example of it. The fact we get Spooky Scary Skeletons on a licensed prop now is insane and I never thought I'd see the day.

@@gemmybonez459 Yeah, absolutely. I just feel bad for Andrew Gold, who never got to see his song hit mainstream popularity. He passed in 2011 and the song became popular a few years later. Agreed about the animatronics though. it's amazing to me that servo props are being continuously released! I do wonder why it seemed like it started all of a sudden with Grim.

I would say that I agree. I think the first voice actor they ever had voice acting for the first SVI Santa was possibly the best one.

I would also add that the beard just looks SO perfect too. It's long and beautiful. Along with that, Like you said, the overall appearance is just gorgeous and over all I think this is the best classic take on Santa we have received by far.

I think I would agree. The voice I feel like could've been a bit deeper, but at the same time I feel that it's somewhat fitting still. I am very bummed there were no songs because I was for sure there would be. It is a shame but at the same time I absolutely love him in so many ways. This is quite possibly one of SVIs best Santas yet.

@gemmybonez459 it's great SVI keep making different Santa's each year. That means there will be something for everyone.
