I found better way hydrated the whole plant chop it up, fill bottle half full of plant and the rest with my favorite liquor let set for a month boom pain killer 1 to 2 shot a day im good

remove vegetarian from the title it's misleading
The title is not misleading at all. It states that the recipe is vegetarian, which it is, Lacto Ovo to be precise. The egg makes it not Vegan friendly but I state this twice in the video. Once at 1:39 and again at 5:56 I have been Lacto Ovo vegetarian for 35+ years. We all have our individual reasons for not eating meat but mine does not include eggs or dairy. Thanks for your comment.

If you are allergic to the lattice in gloves and the CPR Matt's, can you still use this product?
If you have severe latex allergies, we'd recommend avoiding it but you can also check with your doctor regarding this. The latex in wild lettuce is called Lactucarium. That may help with your research but from what I found on the web: "The “latex” in wild lettuce is not the same as the “latex” in gloves that is commonly associated with latex allergies. Latex allergy typically stems from an allergy to the proteins of the Hevea (rubber tree) plant (which are not present in wild lettuce) or chemicals used in the processing of Hevea latex." If i use ready made yogourt, do I need to bring it to a boil before draining it?
I've never made cream cheese from straight store bought yogurt but it should work. In our area, yogurt at the store is so expensive it isn't cost effective for us to try that. Also, you wouldn't have to heat it as it's already in a yogurt form as opposed to starting with milk and adding a seed of yogurt to it. The reason the milk is brought up to 180 degrees is to kill any bacteria in the milk that would fight with the cultures we then add in once it cools back to 110 degrees. If you give this a try, please let us know how it works out!
@KeepingItRielwithMarilynSteve I only worked like a yr and a half since 2020... So i improvise with whatever i get from food bank. I took a container of vanilla greek yogourt that they gave me .. Tied it in a t-shirt and left it for 12 hrs or so in the tied t-shirt and it made a cream cheese like ball which is excellent with jam on toast for breakfast or desert. The cream cheese is slightly sweet with a smell and tast of vanilla. If you ever get the marked down in price expired greek yogourt (my yogourt was sealed and expired since november 2024 and i made the cheese end of january 2025.. Try it. Its amazing.

Yes a clean t-shirt should work! I normally use a muslin or cheese cloth but have used tea towels in the past making farmer's cheese. Thank you for the question!!

Can you freeze dry whole eggs after freezing in muffin pans? I dont have a freeze drier yet. Still saving for it. But trying to get educated in the mean time. 😊❤
Yes you can! The end result is going to be made into a powder so will combine your yolk and white; but if you're looking to have egg whites and egg yolks separated, you can separate the yolk and white prior to freeze drying and pour them onto separate trays. Once they are freeze dried, they will also be powdered for storage. How many drops would you use for intense pain?
I talk about dosage at 22:55 - A typical liquid dose for me is 1 tsp. but I would recommend a starting dosing of ¼ tsp. once to twice daily, adjusting based on potency and the tolerance of the individual. The dropper I used in the video is a ¼ tsp. dropper. This medicine can be potent for some and weak for others. Use at your own risk.

I have made one of those in the past. It works good. I also made one using the bean can as the inner can, and a one quart paint can as the outer can. Cut the bottom out of the paint can and the bean can fits snugly into the rim of the paint can.
I always wanted to make a larger one with a paint can. I'm going to have to try now. Thanks for sharing!
You didn't say what is Pinetop .
Thank you for your question; the pine tip is the new growth on the tips of the branches every spring. It is a brighter green color and has not yet opened into the full needle. Finally got the free weekend to sit and watch this and boy am I glad for it. I used to make these all the time with my dad and hed sell them with his mountain man bags he made. Unfortunately Id forgotten how to make them since so thanks for refreshing my memory!

How much do I put in a load of laundry?
I have a 4.5 cubic foot high efficiency washing machine and I use 1/4 cup of the final diluted mix. I've been using this for years and it does a great job. I do add bleach for whites as I would do with any other detergent and you can also use a fabric softener if you feel it's necessary based on your water or preference. How long total was the concoction in the crockpot?
@@AndreaDaughterofMostHigh The extraction took about 2 hours and the evaporation took about me 5 hours in the crockpot. If you condense it down on the stove, it can take a lot less time but you need to be sure not to rush it by using too much heat and burning it.
What pain medicine would you compare it to
That’s a difficult question to answer as there are so many different kinds of pain. For me, it works well for sore muscles but didn’t work that good for a really bad tooth ache. I don’t believe it kills pain as well as some opioids but… It’s not addictive and has no life-threatening side effects that I’m aware of. As far as potency, there are so many variables that I tell most people to compared it to about 1000mg of Tylenol or 500mg of Naproxen because most batches, if not done at the right time or done the right way, will not meet their full potential.

Does this stuff feel like Kratom does?
@@sethdouglas2765 I’m unfamiliar with Kratom and its medicinal effects. I believe it’s tropical and found in Southern Asia.
The simmer ring is good for heating up soups and chili without burning the bottom on the lowest possible setting about the size of a candle flame. just remember to stir every 2 min at first and a little more when things start to get warmed up. I also found it works better when you start with the simmer ring on rather than trying to put it on a hot stove thats been running on high for a while and then trying to simmer down the flame, sometimes the run away effect just doesnt let it settle down.

Well done , just the way we used to make them back in the 90s with one exception . We would cut a strip of the can slightly wider than the depth of the cans at that ridge when put together to fit in that valley . Formed the wall inside the stove like a Trangia , placed inside prior to pushing together . Seemed to create a little more pressure in the stove , then to dress things up a bit ..wrap a thin strip of aluminum tape around the outside . Anyway , really enjoyed your presentation and your Christmas tree is beautiful !

I made a similar stove to the one you described but I cut the top off at the upper lip and added fiberglass between the can and that strip making it just like a Trangia. I’m glad there are still stove builders out there with so many options to purchase. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve bought stoves but think sharing the how to’s are still important. Thank you for watching!

What about citric acid to preserve food?
@@pineapple365 yes, some methods of preservation do use citric acid. We love the our Harvest Right for many of our food storage items especially if we’re looking for 25 year, long term storage. I prefer it with my herbs as it retains more of the nutrients.

Thanks Steve, that brought back memories! I am 84 and have been involved in the Boy Scout movement for 75 years. My grandad (a regular soldier from 1899 to 1918 in a Scottish regiment served in the African wars, India and on the western front till he was gassed in 1917. He carried a s"cean dhu "(sheath knife) for all his service It was beautifuly crafted. He gave it to me when I was eight years old. I still have it and it will be passed to my grandson (also a scout leader) when I am VERY old! When I was 13, I got interested in leather work and stripped the leather from an ancient cowhide armchair. It made me a new knife sheath, a leather waistcoat and a gun cover for my air rifle! (That was not long after the war when Britain was impoverished and EVERTHING was recycled). Happy days of self sufficiency. Thanks again for making an old wild camper happy.
Thank you for sharing your story, it's awesome. That story would be great to be documented and handed down along with the knife so generations to come can appreciate the history as we loose so much over time. Marilyn's Dad was in WWII and was also a scout leader for years locally and she has the same appreciation to carrying the items and memories along to future generations. Again, thank you so much for sharing it truly means a lot to us!
I raise those fly larva during warm weather outside. One bin produces about a half gallon a day when it's going strong. Got cut short near the end of the season when my horde found their way into the bin and cleaned it out. lol That's the 22 chicks running around that I hatched off this summer. Plan to move the operation indoors this coming year since I've now got my solar shed going with a mini split for heating and cooling. Be nice to have larva year round. That's the one thing the birds never turn away from.
@@beebop9808 That solar shed sounds awesome! I’d love to get enough solar on our shed to run a mini split. That would be great. And yes, definitely love those fly larvae. Do you serve them up fresh or dried? I used to raise mealworms and gave them fresh and wiggly to the girls.
I built the shed with intention of raising the bugs year round and next thing I know it grew into hooking the house up and getting rid of the power company. Nothing is ever enough seems like. lol And yeah, the birds go nuts over those squirmy bugs. Actually even if they catch me walking toward the bin they are on my heels. lol They are a whole lot easier to raise than meal worms. Just need plenty of food cuz they can pack away some vittles.

@@L.Mitchell-tn4bh Definitely! I save my waste oil from vehicle oil changes and from family. Free fuel burned in a stove made from “junk”. It doesn’t get more free than that. And it puts out a massive amount of heat.

Its not a salami. Salami is made from meat. The only reason you are calling you vegan food meat names is you miss eat meat, safe yourself and go eat some meat.
@@ax8038 You seem to be very passionate about letting me know that vegetarian foods don’t contain meat. Thanks for that. The thing you said about me “miss eat meat” is true. I do miss eating meat. Unfortunately I don’t trust the meat that’s sold commercially where I live. It’s filled with steroids, hormones and a slurry of other chemicals that I didn’t order. And so, until our local farmers can sell “clean”, natural meats that don’t have to be approved by the F.D.A. I’ll continue to make my meat substitutes with ingredients that I know are healthy and I will share them with anyone that can find them helpful. Thanks for watching!

@@KeepingItRielwithMarilynSteve One of the things that can fool a meat eater with a vegetarian is ground walnuts. I know because I was fooled by Vegan Meatballs once... The walnuts give just that little crunch that meat has and many veggie ingredients don't have... I'll probably add a few crimine mushrooms also..
@@leemysliwiec2803 Mushrooms are always a good addition if you have them on hand. Most mushrooms have a beefy flavor and a good texture.

That store bought egg powder is sketchy! Probably stretched with some sort or starch, but even powdered sawdust is a possibility

I’ll also update the “salami” recipe on the website to be a “deli meat” recipe listing the different seasonings. The funny thing about my bologna recipe is that it started off as a hotdog recipe. 15 gallons of sap produces how much syrup?
15 gallons of sap would cook down to about 3.2 oz. We have to collect about 40 gallons of sap durring our maple season to get 1 gallon of syrup. We use a 40:1 ratio. A lot of work but worth it!
