Here is a link to another video I made for a gasifier stove made from cans as well - th-cam.com/video/SF993dqT2v4/w-d-xo.html My all-time favorite wood burning camp stove is a foldable wood burner by Lixada. You can see it used in several of our videos and we bought one for all of our camping/hiking/get home/bug out bags and it’s well under $20. @@apace903 That’s pretty cool. I wonder if they still do fun stuff like this in the Brownies, Scouts…? These are the fun skills that I like to keep alive before they all fade away. Thank you for sharing!
@@barbadoskado2769 I love it! Marilyn got it for me as a gift a few years back. I made the sheath in the video because the one it came with was… meh! Thanks for watching!
I've seen larger versions made with a new clean 1-gallon paint can and a 1-quart paint can. They left the handle on the 1 gallon to make it easier to carry. People have come up with some very clever stoves. Thank you for commenting!
@@kadaena3669 That’s why I mentioned it in the video. I knew it was cringy. 🤣 I don’t collect gear for show… I use it and I use it hard sometimes. Like I said in the video, it needs to be re-profiled and sharpened anyway. Thanks for watching!
Looks good to go😊 take care CT😊
@@quinntheeskimooutdoors6234 Thanks Quinn!
Lovely idea! Can you relocate me to a more permanent hobo stove? I would love to have one always on the go on my fishing trips 😁

I'm delighted with this. It would also be fun to try a bigger tin. Looking forward to looking at some of your other videos. Many thanks.

Hello, it hurt me to see how you used the ferrocerium with the edge of the knife, I would have used the opposite side of the knife.
