This was in Austin, TX! But this was actually the 2021 storm 😆 we only got a small amount this year. Maybe 1/2 inch

No way! That’s pretty cool. I love that area, it’s so beautiful and peaceful. My best friend was married there about 10 years ago. And my wife and I have stayed there a few times. The fishing is pretty good too!

Not true. That rod has a super soft tip and a ton of flex, requiring a “hard” hookset. Looks way worse than it was. Plus largemouth bass have a tough mouth.

@@Lucaslil2busy Have only been back once since and got the skunk. There’s been a couple fish kills that affected the bottom pond. Top is pressured like crazy but I know people that have caught some big bass there.

@ I usually go between 8:30 they are always on bed and the water is still and u can see all the fish blowing up on dragon flys the other day I saw a bass trying to eat another bass

It has good action! It’s a little heavy for the size but it catches fish!

There’s usually not a way to do it without getting wet. But it’s still worth it to have them attached and not have to mess with a cart.
